I've read about fragility issues with this figure. His joint pegs tend to break easily, and his hands fall out. Is this a bunch of hoohaw? I really hope my Goku won't have these problems if I buy one.

You are in a group of about 10 that I really like watching their reviews. . Dragonball isn't really my thing, but you show a lot of heart, and show that you really care about your collection. It comes through. You also show your knowledge without coming off as a know-it-all. You may have started me off on a new collecting line. :)

Great review, you did a really terrific job. I'm very impressed by this figure and the stand is such an excellent bonus. Your collection is amazing.

I've two very quick questions about Gok:. 1) Was it tricky to build, 2) are you tempted to paint it or apply the waterslide decals (which I believe can be a bit difficult to use)?

BTW, awesome is one of my favourite superlatives in the English language, its impossible to overuse it when describing a figure as impressive as the Son Goku :)

1. No, it wasn't tricky to build. Just have patience. :D Anyone can do it and the instructions are super easy!

Bandai's current level of model kit engineering is quite impressive and I'm hoping that the Figurerise line of models takes off so we can see other franchises get into the model kit industry.

AWESOME review and collection! I used to have a lot of DBZ stuff too, just not anywhere near the amount you have though. I just recently got rid of my giant Buu which is about the same size as your giant SS Goku. I mighty try and get back into collection some DBZ figures again someday. I'm hoping Bandai makes a Master Grade Adult Trunks, specifically the one from the Bojack movie, cuz he looks so AWESOME in that movie. Anyways, can't wait to see the AWESOME SS version. You can get a Tamashii Action Base seperate for the Figuarts, actually. But, I like the proportioning more on the MG, while the paintjob on the Figuarts blows it away.
