  • GOSTEI AMIGAO BEM FUNCIONAL O CAPACIMETRO E O RESISTOR

GOSTARIA DE SABER SE PODE COLOCAR UM CONTA GIRO

  • @albertoice2 Come again?

  • Hi!

need the list of parts to make this?

    can any one help?

  • @magnito4363 See the link in the video description.

  • GREAT VIDEO.

  • VERY GOOD! puts mine to shame

  • First time to see your video blog- I really like it. I seen this project a few years back, your version is far more useful to us on this side of the pond:)

Your videos are very high quality, clear and well presented- you should teach/ lecture!

    Please make more video-thanks!

    P.S I like your piano!

  • @stewartdahamman Thank you very much for your kind comments! :-)

I enjoy working with electronics very much, but haven't had any time for my own projects in the last few months. I hope I can change that soon.

  • @benryves Yeah its difficult to get free time to work on these things.

Do you work in electronics ?

Im studying electronics at the moment- we use the msp430, my lecturer said he

hadn't heard of the z80 in years and that they were that tough you could use them as a hockey puck!

I have an old laptop( small non-backlit lcd screen circa 1980's) that runs CP/M , not sure if it

has a z80. I have test equiptment that has a z80 in it :) I ramble too much!

    Time to solder,sorry I mean sleep :-)

  • @stewartdahamman I work in web development, for my sins.

TI's popular graphing calculators (such as the TI-83+) have a Z80 in them, and there's a relatively active community writing programs for them. I wonder what your laptop has in it - it could be an 8080, and there was a version of CP/M for the 8086.

I haven't had any experience with the MSP430, though have been meaning to since the release of the inexpensive LaunchPad. Good luck with your studies!

  • I enjoy your videos very much. They are all very clear and well done. I have become a regular visitor to your channel.

  • @deadrabbit666666 Thank you very much! :-) I wish I had more time to spend on my hobbies, but work tends to get in the way these days.

  • Very well made video and a very well made tool. Good job.

  • @naxps Many thanks!

  • Hey, congrats on making it to Hack a day!

  • @Johceti Thank you! :-)

  • Very nice,I will make this project this weekend, and I will post some pictures and videos.

  • @macobt Thank you! I look forwards to seeing your results. :-)

  • Nice job! Is your C code available anywhere? I ported the code (still in MPASM though) to the 16F886 which is also much larger, but is significantly different in the A/D. You can see a prototype version of mine also on YouTube, although I haven't posted the finished product yet. And your plastic work is much better than mine ;-)

  • @wd5gnr Thank you, and that's a great demonstration on your YouTube channel. I look forwards to seeing the finished product!

The C code can be found at the bottom of the journal post linked in the video description above (YouTube prohibits me from posting a direct link, sorry).

  • cool work and really top notch presentation, except that thing needs an better display tho, some kind of character lcd at least..

  • @houseofbits Thank you! I suppose a better display would make the characters a little less ambiguous (e.g. the 'H' for the kilohms or the weird symbol for MHz). I just followed the original design, and four-digit 7-segment LED displays are cheap and widely available.

  • I could really use one of those. Your videos are really clear and informative. Keep it up!

  • @Johceti Cheers :-) It is certainly a fun project to build, and I think that having something useful at the end of it makes it even more worthwhile.
