@SteffanLlwyd We dispose of electronics here in USA. We recycle electronics here also. And we do it safely and efficiantly. Why can't africans do the same? Hmm? You don't understand that?

@johnknoefler Thanks for sharing your idea and I agree strongly that if trade in recycled goods is this badly regulated abroad then it should be shut down and material handled in the home nations. The part of the problem that I'm struggling with is what I would do if I was a very poor African in a world of unimaginable inequality.... and I guess I could become a scrap material worker, a prostitute, a criminal, mercenary, an illegal migrant, a corrupt politician, a soldier, taxi driver...

@SteffanLlwyd Early America was once poor but became great because we embraced free trade and liberty. Africa will remain a poor brutal continent until the Africans change. Now free trade in USA is vilified as evil capitalism and liberty is prostituted for "social justice". Soon USA will join africa and every other hellish brutal place on this planet in the quest for "wealth redistribution"

@johnknoefler I didn't know you had a lot of redistribution in the US. Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark have much more of it than we do in the UK, but they seem happier for it!

@SteffanLlwyd Oh ya. They are so happy about the flood of immigrants looking for a handout. Crime rates are soaring. So happy that the majority of people love Geert Wilders and the whole world has seen Fitna. The rate of rapes is up 400 percent in those countries with the majority of all violent crime committed by immigrants.

@johnknoefler I was not able to find data on the identity of criminals convicted of violent crime in Denmark; however ALL sexual offences including rape are currently 2,000 per year and historic data crime in liberal/ unequal USA is at very much higher rates per 100,000 population than social democratic/ equal Denmark. Crime has risen between biker gangs and immigrant gangs, however. This is undesireable of course. Very low crime is found in Japan, again, not a liberal economy and society.

@SteffanLlwyd The stats here in USA reveal that most violent crimes are committed by blacks and hispanics at a disproportionate rate to demographics.

@johnknoefler This is not so surprising given history, circumstances and enforcement practices. I guess there'd be social patterning in all crimes, including financial crime? In the UK if the data is 'corrected' so that persons of similar wealth and poverty are compared, then non-Europeans are slightly more law abiding than Europeans; but there is very little difference. Violent crime has fallen overal in Europe over the last 10 years, including the UK (by quite a lot). Nobody's sure why.
