The Iron Man anime was actually pretty good, I would say better than the Wolverine series. It was very Japan centered, I suppose to keep the Japanese viewer's attention. If you were to see the trailer, then the series...then the trailer again. You would notice that they are completely different,this trailer I guess is for "shock value" to get people hyped up to see the series. But the series itself is very good, only problem is that it's too short. But it might be done like that on purpose....

This has to be one of the most stylish, well directed, all around MOST BADASS anime trailers I've ever seen!! Marvel should have kept Takeshi Koike on board for this one. The guy is a BEAST!! I've seen clips of the anime and the animation is not bad at all, but this right here is BOWSE!! I heard it was a case of not allowing him complete creative freedom (BIG MISTAKE) so he walked out. @crimsonshadow42 I agree. I think it's because the one who animated this is the guy was assigned to direct it. this was merely a trailer for the anime. Good thing is, the guy,Takeshi Koike, who made this trailer left a few episodes since he deserved to be working on a better project, and with the art style already decided, it was going to have the same results either way. Budget also plays a role in the change. check out his other works: Red Line(film), Party7(short), world record(animatrix),etc

After seeing the series on G4, this is what I have to say on it. Overall it was a good series, I personally liked it better than Wolverine. But the only real cameo appearance was by Wolverine though, there's no scenes by real Iron Man villains...it's very Japanese centered. Possibly to get the Japanese to watch the series, it would have been nice to see Tony in America...but it's sad that it was so short. Like a story made just for the Japanese viewers and that's it.
