i agree with almost everything you have to say, but i dont agree with you saying you want clayton out of here. he has every right to be happy gruden is gone. After his rookie season he was treated like shit by gruden. And if we got rid of clayton, the only realible reciver we would have would be Bryant. We would have no depth at all at reciver if clayton was gone
Leaders are made with action, not words. If he leads on the field then this was a good move. If he whines and cries like a little girl (and not the tought ones!) then he will have proven his detractors right.
Yup, I saw the post after I replied. Money (alone) does not fix what was wrong with K2 in Cleveland IMO. That is one of the major reasons I hated to see the Brooks release (let alone the crappy way it was handled). Guys like him can take a young guy and get him in line. Let's hope Ronde and Chris can get into his head a little. Guy has all the talent in the world.
Brooks....Let's cut the guy who restructured his contract more times than he should have to keep this team from completely sinking into cap hell! (which they eventually did). No class and no loyalty to a man who sacrificed millions and gave to the community.
Winslow has a clean slate. I hope he can fall in line and not abuse Raheem's inexperience coaching a football team. I'd like to hear your thoughts on the recent article from Cleveland that implied that Winslow can no longer pull away, CONT.
with all the holes the bucs have like you said, what do you think they draft in the first round? i personally would love percey harvin or that georgia rb something moreno.
We have to wait until FA is a little more fleshed out. If the Bucs land a Ward or something, I think RB in the draft would be a bad move. As for the two guys you mention, I like both. I am afraid of UF receivers (as they normally suck in the NFL) but Harvin seems different to me.
We have a lot of holes on D that need to be filled though.
he is definetly a upgrade to the tightend position. he play slot with his speed. none od the other tightends had the speed to get down the field or play slot.
I agree, he is an upgrade. So what? Smith and Stevens both can and have played the slot well. Bringing in guys with attitude issues with a staff that is green and a roster that is losing its leadership is a suicide attempt IMO.
well they dont have stevens anymore. he is a free agent. im sure anybody would complain if they werent happy with their sitation especially a reciever . some people just make it more public and speak up. he speaks up and has a lot of passion for the game. as everybody say when he was 19 playing for miami.
I know Stevens is a FA. I wanted them to resign him.
K2 did not stop acting like an idiot in college. But, like I said, his press conference was solid. The proof will be on the field not only in Training Camp but during the year; especially if it is rocky. Can he be a leader?
What in the blue hell are the Bucs doing? I don't see how this new direction is supposed to work for the Bucs. That's absolutely fine with me, I guess.
Sorry man, you know I got love for Panther Nation, but your secondary is crap. Harris can bring the lumber, no doubt, but we polayed twice this year and he may as well have had no pads on. He may have balled elsewhere as I remember discussions of "Black Glove" just sayin I did not see it.
I'm not talking about how terrible the secondary is, because that's a given. I'm talking about how Chris Harris would clear Kellen Winslow's sinuses any day of the week. ;)
I feel ya. If he happens to be stationary in the 2nd or 3rd level so Harris can catch up with him, he will definitely pound him. But remember, K2 is a soldier dawg!

You got a link to the article. I am following up with my Browns people as well.

I can't post it here so I'll PM it.

It's a statement move.
They want a vocal face of the franchise that can be a leader.

Agreed.
Though I'm confident that his new contract was put in place to prevent a Cleveland type of falling out.
(I mentioned this in your other Winslow video)

If Bucs wanted Kellen Winslow, they should had kept Jeff Garica since he's perfect in short passes.

I can't wait for him to come across the middle and have Chris Harris knock a couple of those teeth loose from that mouth that never stops running.

Chris who? He needs a tackling dummy to actually get in position baby,

Chris Harris, you know, the man who knocked Brandon Jacobs right on his ass.; that Chris Harris.

How many Tight ends do we have now? I love Kellen, don't get me wrong, but this is the last position that we need to upgrade out.
