Of the people i've played which include VGTA, Johnfran is definitly the best. He does not get much mention, but you wont find anyone that can setup a 6-7 chain and kill you in 12sec... that being said i can still keep it close in a race to 20. I hope he sees this too so hell come back and play me..And if you still got my number VGTA hit me up so we can play ;]
At the time I played, Johnfran and VGTA were Gods. By that I put them in the "Super Tier" category. Their skill levels are inhuman and there's an enormous difference between them and the rest of the players. I believe I played VGTA 30 games and got a lucky win once. His quickest game (2 years ago) was 10 seconds. Just by the feel, I felt that VGTA was a bit tougher. One interesting thing that Johnfran does (after analyzing his videos) is count pieces. He counts all 25 pieces up to diamond.
CrashGeom was much better and quicker at gem building and setting up combos than I was so I focused on my defense pattern and just kept looking over to see when I could mess him up. If there was an opportunity to mess up his build, I took it. If he was edging towards the top, I just kept attacking with anything I had. CG beats me more than 90% of the time so this was just one of my very few proud wins lol.
At the time this video was recorded, the player on the left was CrashGeom (Ranked #3 at the time) and I played on the right (I was ranked #17 I think?).
Johnfran29 N VGTA are probably the best. These guys are nowhere close to being good. Especially finding people that dont cheat. Anyone wants to challenge themselves hit me up ;] I'm on xbox. tag's Le0wn.
after looking at the video i see why the left player really lost, it happens in 0:27 where he gets the diamond for the first time but uses it on the red which he doesn't have allot of on the field.
the right player only receives a small amount of damage then is able to use his diamond to cause a chain reaction which burys the left player completely
both this guys are great players and anyone that says otherwise have no understanding of what it takes to play this game at that intensity.
the guy on the left was putting a great fight and it was only by the well coordinated defense pattern of the right player against ryu that he was able to take the fight

i used to play as samxkx on my friend's account. I was like 1-4 against vgta, and 0-1 against john fran. They are both amazing.
