Arjen was very young. Ok you got me chuckling there. As if he isn't caught in a 1983 time bubble playing an Axe in the 1990's. The fact that he can play is impressive. The fact that he is a gifted song writer where Ingwie is not. He is definately one of the best sound engineers. Ok I tell you what get rid of the bandanna & you got a groupie Arjen...LOL.
Seriously everybody loves Arjen he is just so special, he's a rare gem. We'd love to tuck him away but he's so amazing we all recommend him.
If you take into account the status of the "guitar solo" in the 90s, this is pure soul. Metallica for ex. went with the flow and stopped doing solos. But some stayed tr00 and erected the finger in the face of all the ignorant fad bitches, the finger that never lost its straightness and will remain unphased until the end of time. This is metal, it is our thing, it rocks our hairy anuses, and whiners can get down there and suck Dev's buddy's cock.

If you actually watch Arjen, you can see that he's not even trying lol. Not to mention the audio recording on the tape is kinda low quality, but the solo in the actual song is beyond amazing. So get over it, Arjen > Critics who wasn't even born when this solo was recorded
This is well below Arjen's immense capabilities. He is a phenomenal song writer and multi-instrumentalist. Stfu you ignorant haters who pick out a single clip and judge a musician.
Arjen is a musical genius. If somebody doN,t like what he does, he have the write, but if it's by ignorance or because of seperficial reason, it's that he doesn't understand his music!

I'm always thinking, is it bizarre that Ayreon, Blind Guardian, Pain of Salvation and Opeth are my favourite metal bands, i mean, they are all so different form each other...
