While reading the EU books, I imagined Mara Jade looking similar to singer Debbie Harry from Blondie - compact & slim, bold features, high cheekbones, wide eyes, the works. Oh, and with Dana Scully's hair color. XD

I don't know about Mara Jade didn't know there were female jedi or sith lords. I did not read the comic which issue. Wasn't Mara Jade killed in episode 3? I only know about the films. How can a sith be lead back to the goodside who redeemed her? Luke save Vader at the end of ROTJ. Other wise no one returns from the darkside. Siths only think about themselves and Jedi are selfless and think about others.

Jade was more like a force sensitive assassin, she wasnt really given formal sith or jedi training.. when the empire fell.. she went to work for Talon Kaarde.

The only thing that broke palpatine's spell was that she DID KILL Luuke Skywalker.. but luckily it wasnt really luke but his clone Luuke.. (made from dna samples from Lukes's severed hand that was found in the deepest chasm of cloud city) Read Heir to the Empire by Tim Zahn.. BEST STAR WARS NOVEL EVER WRITTEN!!!

I don't usually care for slideshow type videos, but this one couldn't go wrong at all with Mara Jade as the subject. I especially liked the later pics (Luke & Mara) where the artists' conceptions are closer to mine of what Mara would look like. Although Shannon McRandle is nice enough to look at, she is NOT what I pictured Mara to look like in my mind's eye. The one with Mara holding hers and Luke's baby Ben is how I had her pictured.

cool vid, but all you guys mean Mara WAS hot. She totally bit it at the hands of Han Solo's Brat. Kinda Ironic that she goes down to Jacen when Jacen's Grandfather didn't like her about 80 Percent of the time, Wanted her dead about 50 percent of the time, And nearly tried to kill her once. Very true. He played pretty cowardly, but on the Devil's advocate side she's the one who attacked him, and also he played dirty but hey that's the chance you take when you fight a Sith. They play rough. It's what they do. Also I think that there is a testament to what I say about the Jedi of the old Republic having it right when it came to their philosophy on attachment. Attachment caused Mara to not only die, but to fail at defeating the Sith which could arguably have saved alot of lives.

I think Kyle Katarn is a better Jedi Master I mean he has beaten stronger sith lords then anyother jedi master and is strongest in the force(De to him having the force of over 100 jedi's flowing through him from the vally of the Jedi.) But Mara Mara Jade is good as well.

no in pure raw force power kyle is stronger then anybody is or hs been with the force. he severed his contact with the force and in a desperate attempt to get it back to save his woman he went to the vally of the jedi and was infused with the power of the force again from all the jedi masters who had been buried there. this includes luke
