Sure. The viper can't just keep getting badder and badder. They've gotten so fast, there is no where to go but slower. They'll have to find a niche - either go back to a smaller, harder but more refined drivers car (no longer without driver's aids), or move in the direction of softer cruising, image, and a side portion of drag racing. Maybe even an automatic, lightened and more powerful drag strip/sunset strip machine could be in the car's future.

The first Viper was a soft pretty crappy touring roadster with a big engine. Because of buyer comments and requests it turning into a very hardcore performance machine over 15-20 years. Wow, that long already, damn. So in a way it's going back to it's roots when the car sold the fewest numbers.
