@shity8 depends on the lens, but the body,s focussing system is abnormal fast for this price class.

@keneza3011 eeeuh, hmm dont put whole things in a photo, if you have for say a building or something its nicer to make a photo of a part of the building and keep the rest as mystery.

search for original things. so not flowers what i did these were only Qaulity show pictures, my new vid will have some real nice photo,s you can see those as an example.

so check sometime in the future for my new vid;)!

@SonyAlpha330 sommige video bewerkings progamma's maken de foto kwaliteit slecht en vervormen of verkleinen ze. gebruik hiervoor gewoon windows media player, en laat de video oplsaan in hd kwaliteit. dan moet het goed zijn!;)

@TheBob0416 just because i wanted to show what photo,s you can get, even on auto mode, i shot them on auto mode, in auto the shutter speed sets automatic,

conclusion: i dont know.

How do you change the aperture? My camera will only let me change the shutter speed but never the aperture!!

@spookycat31 i know what you mean.. to do that first you have to set your weel thing, on A after that you can change it with scrolling that weel under that button that makes a photo,

@generosa10 all these photo,s i made were taken with auto mode, with changing settings you can get better Quality but whats most important is that you search for nice things to make pictures of. the day after it rained(in summer) is always a good time to make photo's of flowers because of the rain drups on it. mess around with the following menu,s on your camera,(wich are located on the little weel: P, A, and S, with these menu's you can increase blur on your pictures and other stuff.

i admit that a330 cant be compare with other superior dslr, but yet, i does do its job.

though its not a pro dslr, i still able to use it for some wedding shots, links and video in my channel ...the most discussed prob about the grip, its not a big deal when u get use to it..n i do hav a large hand... =P ... enjoy with ur camera ... creativity, from the person, not camera....please do visit my channel =)

@redux32 ehm i dont know, well evry DSLR camera can easily freeze a moment but to blur the shot, you need some practice, so yea this camera could be good for skateboarding and other fast activities.

@BCskate94 yea, it actually is pretty good for fast things like that because the overall autofocus on the camera is as fast as an proffesional camera;), but be sure to buy a HSM lens with it, HSM stands for High speed motor,

@BCskate94 oh sorry didnt saw your comment, ehm with the sigma 18-200 i made some really good pics of horse jumping, but if you have more to spend you can better look for some lenses which have just a bit more faster autofocus.

1 how much do they both cost at your region

2 do you have big hands(cause the sony a330 is annoying to hold if you have big hands)

@4000marco ive changed my mind, sony A330 is out the picture now, its either between a Pentax K-x or Nikon D3000. pentax costs about 750$ while the d3000 at 730$ ? pentax coming with a sigma 18-125mm HSM lens, while d3000 with a Nikkor 18-55vr Lens. ? would be great if you could help.

@ceedric7 pentax k-x for me. great at low light and pentax legacy lenses are cheap like the SOny Alphas that uses the old konica-minolta glasses. and most of its lenses can autofocus unlike nikon. AF-S lenses are expensive. However, the kit lens of the d3000 can autofocus. if you want all of the lenses of nikon can autofocus, get a used d80 or a d90.

the a330 has live view with tilting screen and has the same price range, so think about it

@ceedric7 if you want video get the pentax k-x. i just got the sony 330 and i dont like the grip yet i guess i will have to get use to it or replace it. pentax was the one i wanted but i got the sony 330 with 18-55 and 55-200 for 590 CAN, the pentax was 600 only with the 18-55 lens

@motorcyclist1234 no you dont, but if you want to buy this camera i recommend(if you have enough money) to buy the sam 18-200 kit lens with it, thats a really nice lens to zoom even further in;)

and its of itself a pretty cheap lens, (cause its a kit)

my answer: the sony a330 is the best. (if you can handle the grip)

here are some possitive and NEGATIVE points:

possitive:

* Quikest auto focus in this price range

*inside stabilisation

* live view

* really easy to use for beginners

* TILTING SCREEN

* fast Bionz processor

* the grip can be a pain for people with big hands! (hold the camera in a shop)

* flash is on the other camera,s are a little bit stronger(still its pretty strong)

* the continuous shooting is 2.5 fps

hi, no you cant. but that all the other camera's in this price class cant either. camera's with video mode start at a price around 1200 EUR/dollar

i have to note ( i just came up with this) that all of these photo's are made in auto mode. so if you think this is crap Qaulity hold in mind that this are just auto settings. if you go mess around and choose some other AF points or other with depts you can get better Qaulity out the camera. i will make some photo's for my next video wich are made on program mode, so ill put my own settings in it.
