I've actually done this before on my first playthrough back when the game first came out on ps2, but not by choice. When I got to this point in the game I only had 6 bullets for the handgun and the knife. It took countless retries but I finally beat her. Good memories

Knife runs in Code Veronica must be pretty forgiving, as the knife causes more damage than in previous Resident Evil titles. Instead of a single stab, the collision detection in Code Veronica's engine counts it as multiple stabs in one swing. That is how the knife should have been in previous Resident Evil titles, as a more reliable fall-back weapon... Not that one really needs a fall-back weapon, because there's a ridiculous amount of ammo to be picked up in any RE game =P

@CaRC1n0g3n yeah the knife has been revamped from the previous resident evils. rather than a stab, its a swipe, and if u swipe on zombies lower part u can make them fall. its way better than before, but still its not easy to go for an all knife run.
