@logician3 That music is from a friend of mine. It's called "desert rains." Most of the other videos have music that I produced. This tune is def. a lot better than mine. This guy is an accomplished guitarist and sitarist. Thanks. I'll let him know you dig it!
Very interesting image @ 4:19. May I ask where this is from? It has a Hermetic flavor with Norse Yggdrasil imagery. I particularly noticed the door way, portal, wormhole, archway whose path connects to a trail of light eminating form the top of a mountain (symbol for enlightenment at-the base of the tree. great videos keep em coming!
@PushyMonk I found that image while searching for images of the axis mundi. The axis mundi in the celtic and roman tradition is a portal for the augur or geomancer to travel to the "celestial realm" or as some call it a stargtate. Thanks for the comments. I agree that that image is very powerful and seems to capture the definition of the axis mundi.
@PushyMonk I am not sure but if you word search "axix mundi" it comes up in the images. I agree that there is a lot of pertainent symbols in that one image. It would make a great t-shirt!
Many times the Axis mundi is a pyramid, obelisk, or plaza. Many ancient axix mundi's were comprised of black stones or meteorites. Mecca and Paphos, cyprus are both important sites to islam. A black stone was worshipped in Paphos also by Muslims but also by an earlyer Phoenician culture. The Roman tradition dictates that the ruler who established the axix is buried beneath it w/ artifacts from its parent city. Thanks.
