To my mind, it is the superb acting skills of the accomplished actors, Colin Firth and Ms. Ehle, great make-up artists and the superb details evident in every scene that make Mr. Darcy so sexually appealing. This 1995 version of Pride & Prejudice is the finest of all other P & P film characterizations and in keeping with the novel right down to that horse.

For Easter my own dear handsome hubby just gave me the 10th anniversary edition P&P DVD set and book on the making of this classic. ABSOLUTELY Delightful!!! Highly recommend it!!
