  • But I liked the Goldenthal theme... Epic intro nevertheless

  • did you ever put this online

  • i love this

  • If only it WAS like this, the last two 90's Batman films were shockingly bad :(

  • Hey where did you get that footage of the brain?

  • Neurons?

  • If you put the different parts of the link I posted together you can get a page that shows you how to make a torrent, I've never tried it before but hopefully it will work.

  • Kinda like Spiderman 3.'s opening, not?

  • NOW that how you open a Batman movie not the one from the original one .

  • Okay i got two things to say

1:Good job this is how batman forever should have went!

2:Where did you get the cgi brain for the intro credits?

  • I agree entirely with the comment about Crane. This is the second DIY cut that uses Elfman's music instead of Goldenthal's. There are some bad things about Batman Forever (and A LOT about Batman and Robin) but I didn't see anything wrong with Goldenthal's music - it's just different to Elfman's (and not all that different, at that).

  • very well done but i think near the end of the credits overuse of sleepy hollow soundtrack. still, very much keeping with tim burtons dark batman. they also both started with the villians.

  • Heel ! The Goldenthal theme was great too ! Why cut it ?

  • i love the tim burton sleepy hollow music you added in the beginning

  • 4:04 Kane have spelling mistakes...

  • why? looks like a x-men intro. it's utterly pointless. batman forever was good. batman and robin wasn't but that doesn't mean you blame forever as well ok i understand both it's flaws blame WB for it not joel schumacher.

  • Why would the opening be in a human brain?

  • @SupremeCommander85 Many reasons, this cut finishes the story that was in Batman Forever, Bruce going into his own psyche and encountering his fear and resolving it, plus The Riddler who used his mind device etc.

  • @DemeterPictures I just find it weird.

  • When the full movien its so much wish??

  • Subtract the Sleepy Hollow Score. And the font of the credits (while mimicking the first movie) is simply not cutting edge as all the Batman films are at release.

  • It looks like Fight Club to me

  • Oh, things could of been so much better after seeing this

  • hey man put it in ISO the full copy, because i love this film. In ISO in Megaupload or Rapidshare. Thanks.

  • it would be much more darker if the guy who was hanging was dead. not makeing noises and sounding like he fine!

  • Richard Donner made a "directors cut" Superman II.

The Batman forever made by Burton would've been something like that.

Too bad, it would've ended, with Batman's death.

  • @qwuezalothus what?what do u mean??tim burton would have killed of batman if he proceeded with forever??no way.

  • @DragonAngelO

    - That was his original intention;;

    - And than he was reduced to producer;;

    - And than Keaton got fed up with whole Schumacher-concept, and felt Batman is no longer a challenge to him as an actor;;

    - And than Schumacher cut out a lot of exciting things from Forever, the numskull! He cut out for example the best scene of the movie, featuring Man-Bat!

"The secret of the Batcave" as as sürreal independent shortfilm is still very exciting!

  • @qwuezalothus What are you talking about? There was no "man-bat" in Batman Forever. Also it was the studio who ruined the potential for the third film; they pushed Burton out of the way & haired Shumacher because they wanted a more mainstream film.

  • @sigmonrunner1

Ok, let's just call it "giant Bat" then. It was just a little confusing.

Batman Forever to me is somewhat better than Batman Returns but pretty much worse than the first Batman. But I also counted thedeleted full scenes to it.

  • There's no other movie-franchise a filmmaker could possibly learn more than Batman's.

  • I might be hallucinating but i am freakin positive that was hugo strange right now...

  • This is the one they should have shown!

  • I'm guessing they took these scenes out because they would be a massive contrast to the rest of the film, like from really dark to futuristic and colourful.

  • love it but why didn't you use the actual credits

  • This is what we should have got for Batman 3.

  • This real or edited? Very nice either way.

  • Damn, now this is a film I want to buy

  • Is this REALLY the original opening of Batman Forever??

  • The Doctor should have been Crane the scarecrow, the actor would have fitted the role perfectly in my opinion.

  • @jameskit yes, it wold have been better that way.

To the poster of this video, THIS OPENING IS AMAZING, It's funny how Dann Elfman's music can change the mood

  • Several questions are raised, why not use this opening is was much better than the one used ? And why did warner brothers want to make batman lighter? batman was never meant to be light.

  • @jameskit Go say that to Adam West, and the writers of Batman comics from the 40s-70s.

  • Tim Burton wouldn't have put Val Kilmer in the first place, that's the big reason why Michael Keaton turned down the role. Sorry this was going somewhere though

  • I NEED TO WATCH YOUR FULL CUT! THIS WAS AMAZING!

  • Why not edit out the the original audio track except for the voices? Some more foley work would have helped in some places. Otherwise a commendable job at film alchemy, taking a turd that is this movie and giving us this. I especially liked the choice of changing the original red to blue.

  • there is not muck darker cut of this movie

  • I apologize to Schumacher for the years of hatred. hell I'll forgive the nipples because of the greek inspired theme. I wanna watch the real Batman forever. Batman and robin wasn't his fault take it up with the wb

  • Nice clip, but why did you replace most of the credits with those from Batman Returns? Seems odd to credit Returns DP Stefan Czapsky yet still credit Schumacher.

  • Dude you dont need to put it up as a bittorrent. Just put the file on some file sharing website and give us the link....PLEASE ! ! !

  • @mixerNack If you could pm me and explain how bittorrents work I would gladly do so.

  • @DemeterPictures Could you please just put the movie file on mediafire or something ? Pretty please ?

  • Y!!!!!!!!!!!!! didnt they leave this scene

  • OHMYGOSH!!!! The title credits score is from SLEEPY HOLLOW!! Nice way to try to seem vague with the score choice, but I’m sorry- I used to be OBSESSED with anything relating to that film. I’d recognized it anywhere.

  • Why not just upload the whole film onto YouTube in parts?

  • They should have used Danny Elfman's Batman themes in Batman Forever.

  • awesome opening...where did you get that footage of the brain playing during the credits?

  • ODO as professor at Arkham Asylum? what is this world coming to?

  • is this even real?

  • If Burton directed that's what the opening would be

Robin Williams was supposed to be Riddler if Burton directed, although he'd make Jim carrey dark AND ACTUALY LEAVE RIDDLES although Billy Dee or maybe Clint Eastwood(my choice imo) would have played two-face also I heard burton's robin choice was Marlon wayns

  • why did you stop giving dvd's?

  • After watching the other crap for 15 years and seeing this for the first time, I feel fuckin cheated out of one badass motherfuckin movie. SHIT.

  • it's so cool to see the opening to this film with the immortal Danny Elfman Batman theme. Makes me wonder what the movie would have been like if Burton had been given more control of it as a producer. Or even if he'd stayed on as Director for the third movie!

  • This is great what you've done with the intro. I liked, not loved, this film, as I did with the prev 2. B&R had potential if they had given the constuction of the movie another year at least. I would def. be interested in seeing how you re-cut the movie in this fashion. Keep up the good work :)

  • awesome!

  • I'de prefer the original opening with Goldenthal's theme. the movie was less good as the burton's but half-good movie

  • How can I get a copy of this version ??? Please tell me !!!!!!!!!!

  • I would really like a copy of this version of Batman forever... how can I get it ??? Pleaseeee tell me !!!!!!!!!! Thanxs !!!

  • wow!!

  • are you still giving out DVD's?

  • This is great! Thanks for uploading this!

  • hey man

    could you upload the movie!!

i am very exited about this part!!

  • Very amazing opening , you do an incredible job ¡ its more darker than the opening of Batman Returns.

I jsut imagine all the movie whit this tone , the action scene's could be vey awesome¡¡

  • Fantastic opening, I think the blue tint at the beginnin is abit much at times. Also, it's spelled Bob Kane.

  • It was either that or leave it red. In the original deleted scene, I hated the red lightning, but I can see what you mean.

  • Blue's definately more fitting, and adds a feel more similar to Batman Returns. It works really well towards the end. At first the journey through the brain, etc. was abit offputting, but it kinda works with Nigma's box, etc. I also really like what you've done with Gotham. How did you handle Two-Face later in the film? Did you touch him up with After Effects to look more realistic or just leave him be?

  • I still dont get why they had to cut this out of the movie thats fucking stupid this was a really great scene when he walks in and finds the guy hanging from the ceiling and his reaction when he sees the message written in blood.

  • Because schumacher is an idiot? He cut out another great scene involving a giant bat and there were a few other deleted scenes I enjoyed. The idea in cutting out material is to remove scenes that don't work or are not necessary. He did the exact opposite here.

  • @DemeterPictures please put this scene

  • @DemeterPictures the studio made him becaus eit was too dark and they wanted to go in a lighter direction

  • @DemeterPictures Still waiting on a Producer's Cut Special Edition!

  • quit being a fuckoff and upload the entire thing dude its K

  • Comment removed

  • A ver very very good burtonian opening, but Bob Kane is with K, beside I modificate a less:

Prodeuced by everybody that you name there but with Peter McGreggor Scott.

Music by Danny Elfman and Elliot Goldenthal.

Last Start the film when Bruce puts his batsuit and go to confront Two Face.

  • I Almost forgot, I modificate too the letters, I put the letters of the opening as Batman Forever and Batman & Robin openings (when appears the batmobile).

  • Almost I forgot too, Debi Mazar (Spice) is with an only b

  • loved the way u edited 2 different pieces of music 2gather, brushin with Batman an Sleepy Hollow :) good film (Y)

  • Nice work here. I always thought this opening scene shouldve stayed in. The only thing was Bob Kane, not Cane. Nonetheless, well done!

  • u useing the music from sleepy hollow ;D but its very good ;D

  • Wish this version really existed

  • it does, see the video description. Lots of people have asked me about it. Thing is I cant seem to get a bittorent working right now. I want to offer the file as a ISO file to burn onto a dvd.

  • Well i want in. I want it.

  • Demeter, I've got one word for you. WOW. Just plain WOW. You've done an outstanding job.

  • now that was a badass awsome opening for batman forever, batman forever was good but batman and robin suck balls thanks to that crappy guy jeol smuchacrapalatadingdong whatever he's name is? we should kill him for ruin the batman movie series thaey should of got tim burton to direct BF and BAR

    ps

that should be an actual open for batman forever i just loved :D

  • Hey man, look at it this way, if Smuchacrapalatadingdong didnt kill Batman, Nolan probs wouldnt have come along and made two awesome Batman movies.

  • Omg that was perfect. Really excellent homage to the old school Burton/Elfman credits.

  • I have this on DVD :)

  • thumbs up!

  • @BrettWWE pirated?

  • @onlyone23km

No, remember this is JUST a fan-edit. About two years ago on the Batman Movie Online forum, DemeterPictures known as RedSkull first made this edit and at the moment gave out copies. I still have mine!

  • @BrettWWE oh, ok.

  • Nice combination of Tim Burton, Twelve Monkeys, and Frank Miller

  • That's some nice editing.

  • the soundtrack is from the movie "sleepy hollow" with johnny depp and christina ricci. directed by tim burton

  • Did you edited the OST also?

  • lots of spelling mistakes !
