  • The one thing I will say about the poor dogs ears is that apparently they missed the memo that if you crop the ears you shouldn't pet the dogs ears like this girl is doing. As you can see in the video it appears that they have possibly already broken the ears by petting them because they are not standing like they should...

  • To all of you who are accusing this family on not knowing how to handle this dane and that they are wrong to crop its ears you are arrogant and rude. I personally have two danes and they have very similar electric collars and guess what they are used for an invisible fence not shock it when it barks!

  • what a pretty pup

  • What a beautiful dog!

  • the girls name is Nitro?

  • lovely

  • That is so adorable! I want a Great Dane so bad...

  • And I am sure you are looking for bigger....

  • zomaardan YOu have been blocked. You are not worth my precious time.

  • All E Collars have a vibrate option and a sound option. If you have ever used a Tens Unit, you would know how the E Collar feels. I have put it on my arm and turned it up to it's full potential. It contracts the muscle. That is ALL it does. It is NOT a shock collar...just how much electricity do you think a watch battery can dish out? I guess ignorance is truely bliss.

  • so true:have one

  • oooooooo

    ikiside çoooooook şekeeeeer....

  • E-Collars are the responsible training collar for any dog. If you love your dog..you train him. PERIOD.

  • @lordslittlegirl

Yeah you may have your period, and you should be shocked for speaking up.

  • @zomaardan Bring it on..want my address? I would LOVE for you to meet my GSD trained with an ECollar.

  • @lordslittlegirl

Sure, sent it in a PM.

You got any pics of your self or is this just about the ecollar thing?

  • @zomaardan Are you blind? Stupid and blind. How Sad.

  • @zomaardan I have put the E Collar on my arm to demonstrate it many times. I live in Waxhaw, NC..stop on by. You would have no problem finding me. I am the one with the well trained GSD.

  • @lordslittlegirl

Give me the adress, not going to waste time searching, and i want bigger pics.

  • If you don't own a large stubborn dog that out weighs you shut the eff up before commenting on this video. Shock collar or not, barking or not this dog is gorgeous & obviously laid back. Shock collars come with a variety of warning signals and are a valid, NON-abusive training tool for certain dogs...yes, if used incorrectly they can cause anxiety in a dog. But basically all the hate comments are from ignorant people. Jus sayin' --- Cute dog :)

  • Not sure how the shock collar is inhumane. If it's for a wireless fence, they usually emit a beeping sound to warn the dog he's near his boundary and only shock when the boundary is crossed. Most dogs when trained to not leave the yard get the idea, the collar can be removed and no longer used. Why troll the guy over how he trains his dog ? I just block then delete the YouTube trolls. Maybe they get the hint then.

  • there is a reason he is as well behaved as he is!

  • these people are stupid telling you that you are abusing your dog by using a shock collar. As if they know you or your dog. These are probably the same kind of people who feed their dog at the table with them, and rediculously humanize their dogs. Which is even more unhealthy than a shock collar! Perhaps it was a stubborn dog who needed a little extra motivation for training. Get off it people.

  • i like doggs hahah molosserrrrrrrrs!

  • Shock collar...hmmm..kinda looks like a vibrating collar. I could be wrong though. This is a perfect example of loving great danes are with children. And please guys. Do not judge unless you are in their shoes. Owning and training a Great dane can sometimes be a bit difficult. Especially if they are adopted at an older age and have not been trained properly before.

  • Great Danes don't bark very much. PLEASE take the shocking collar off!

  • No wonder your dog look like shit. It has a shock collar on. Stop abusing your dog.

  • your daughter Nitro is playing with that dog nicely.

  • Gorgeous relationship! Beautiful dog and little girl.

  • i love cropped ears :D

  • @jakethewasp12 great dane with there ears clipped or not are wonderful

  • I agree. Electrocution is no way to train a dog! I have two danes and when they get a little over active a use voice commands and a gentle soothing voice. They settle right down. I think the owner needs to wear the collar.

  • Handsom!!!!!!!

  • please tell me that is not a shock collar?..ugh.if you cant handle the barking dont get a dog..i hope its a doggy door key

  • @sheilajanae123 quit bitching hippy, don't critise ppl because you don't feel the same way. there's alot worse off dogs than this one

  • @scotterinsam lets tie one around your neck and watch u yelp in pain

  • @sheilajanae123 hahaha already put one around my leg when i was a kid and ran through a fence' trying to show off. hurt yes, abuse no. so again quit bitching

  • @scotterinsam It sure is the worst way to train a dog. Rather use positive reinforcement than, you know, torture. Stupid idiot... Shock collars cause pain and can cause stress and anxiety. They are also unnecessary. Would you be happy if you were shocked every time you made a mistake?

Or hey, maybe you always punch or kick your dog when they does something wrong. You know, so they'll realize that what they did was wrong.

  • @LookieHippie You can tell that the owner must be "new" to the whole owning a Great Dane thing. It's poor ears are cropped!! There is absolutely no reason for a dog to ever have his ears cropped, it's barbaric and painful. Good grief, I feel bad for this dog :(

  • @TheHornedGoddess So do I, this poor dog. I never understood docking either. Great Danes are such a beautiful breed. Why ruin them by cutting their ears? However, it might be that the ears were docked before this person got the dog. Still sad though.

  • @sheilajanae123 most likely its an invisible fence collar, it keeps them from running off the property

  • @sheilajanae123 If you can't handle barking get a newfie.

  • @sheilajanae123 Barking is their way of communicating...I dare you to put a shock collar on your kid when she starts talking...Oh I mean them..not you!

  • what a sweet little girl shes so cute....nice dog too hes huge lol

  • This is the correct way

  • I love how she pets his ear at like 0:38 a couple times trying to get it to lay right lol SO CUTE!!!

  • Beautiful dane
