@ironjohnlad Unfortunately, there are millions of people out there that will succumb to the bad logic of the Watchtower Society and will willingly allow themselves to be entrapped inside a destructive cult. Going before Congress in large droves demanding they be forced underground for creating an environment of false imprisonment is the best possible course.
@propagandatechniques No good mate ! people who succumb to bad watchtower logic would succumb to bad logic from some other group if the JW's are forced underground ! Best way to do what you do, with your excellent videos, and for me to get them to think !
@lpiuikk I own my own business and have been successful for over 11 years at it. I also have 102% average in the legal classes I'm taking in college. What are your grades and what businesses have you started and successfully run?
Isn't this suppressing information normal? Like when you take a girl out, you don't tell her you're a maniac do you or she'll never let you take her out again and carve her up.
I believe in God. I do not believe everything in the Bible is what it's claimed to be, just as I don't believe everything in the Quran is what it's claimed to be. I think Jesus made it pretty clear that if we love God and love our neighbor as ourselves, we will then hopefully see life. The WTS is nothing more than a bunch of pharisees placing all kinds of rules and tenets over the people that they have no choice but to accept or face punishment by shunning. You have no choice.
Your claim about the do-not-call list has been confirmed!
A WT elder mentions the list in an article titled "For Jehovah's Witnesses, it's all about spreading the word" on the Los Angeles Times website. June 1, 2009
He says in his congregation, there are about 25 people on it. Check it out for yourself...
I've been slandered repeatedly by the elders in my former hall as wanting people to follow me. That's because the WTS handlers brainwash the members to believe that everyone that leaves wants to start their own cult. The dopey elders believe that crap like it's Christ talking himself.
People should be made aware of how their minds and family members minds are being tricked. It has nothing to do with obtaining followers. That idea comes from the stereotype the WT handlers place in the minds of the members regarding former members.
I never thought for a moment that you wanted followers, I just was saying that I was glad that you set that straight. That would be pretty ironic, a person talking about cults and wanting followers therefore starting another cult.
Informative vid. I am pretty sure I had a JW I was debating recently lie to me. He vanished off YT (closed his account), then a day or so later, a JW I had never heard of started posting on my boards. He had a knowledge of the debate I had had with the other JW and spoke like him. Checked his account and saw that it was only opened that day. Was also the same age and from the same country as the other JW. Asked him outright if he was the JW I had spoken with. Denied it, then closed his account!
lol! that would be great!....but they already know me...in two states(TX and WA)...lol! Mormons also. I just can't catch a break!!! lol! :) I've resorted to protesting on the street, Wal-mart,safeway,gas stations,7/11's, heck anywhere and passing out tracts since they won't come to me....I'll go to them!! :) I'll be on CNN after while. YES! lol
Good information but JW don't come to my house anymore because I teach them about the real Jesus of the Bible. I wish more JW would come to my house. I love telling them about Jesus and what He has done for me.:)
Better yet, I could send a pile of tracts to the WTS requesting them to come to the addresses of various churches and other religious places of worship.
Let's make this a non spiritual scenario and try to be objective without the emotions of religion.
Let's say that a person from a company calls you to promote a product or service and you tell them to put you on their "do not call" list. A month later another person calls you from the same company and solicits you again. So that person says, "well, it wasn't me who called you last time".
How does that make any sense? Wouldn't you get angry at that company?
God's son's name is Yeshua. that's "YAH" shua. "The one that is and always will be" is salvation.
We glorify God's name (Yah) through the name of Christ (Yeshua). This is nothing strange. This is quite evident and is not confusing at all.
Anyway, I hope we can be friends even if I am an apostate and you've been programmed not to like me or talk to me - in spite of the fact I've spoken nothing untrue here.
The WTS has made it pretty clear that the true rendering of the tetragrammaton is unknown. Jehovah is accepted as the name of God, but the true name is unknown. Well, that kinda weirds me out. If the true name is unknown, can a person honestly tell people God's name is Jehovah? Hmm...
One thing for sure though is that God gave us his son so that through him we may have life.
It's kinda crazy to think that just a few short months ago I was doing the same thing as you - arguing with former members online - now to actually find myself on the other side, so to speak.
What could possibly cause someone to do a complete about face?
Well, it was many things that I had suppressed within me for many years.
I looked at your videos and must say I like your channel. I like the layout. I like your pic of the baby seal. I like the whole thing.
I was going to post on your channel, but it would mess it up and you'd delete the post and be upset and scared someone might find out you are talking to an apostate. So I won't post there.
"...its no secret..." Yes, and everybody in the congregation is entitled to the elder's disciplinary manual "Pay Attention To Yourselves and To All The Flock" too and when a JW pedophile is released from prison and the schools place posters up everywhere warning students and parents, the "overseers" in the hall also warn the "friends" in a "local needs" part too the new brother's a pedophile and that's no secret either, right? Next you'll say it's okay for JWs to be online talking to apostates.
Yeah, perhaps. I'm sure that the Ministerial Servant or Elder that answers the phone will try to talk the householder out of DNC, but if the householder is irate and firm enough in their request (no waffling!), they HAVE to put them on the DNC.
The householder should also keep a record of the call.
Unfortuantely, some JWs and congregations take a cavalier attitude with DNCs and will "forget" and call on them anyway.
Yup.I saw a sister one time get screamed at by a lady that was trying to hold back two dogs, yelling, "I've told you people at least six times not to come back here!"
The sister said, "I definitely won't be back."
When we got back to the car, I asked her if she was going to write it on her territory card and the sister replied, "I said 'I (underline, italics, upper case, bold) won't be back!' I never said that nobody else will be back!"
Lol! Were you instructed in the local needs to tell the householders there wasn't a list? We were.
We actually had one sister going down whole streets offering to place them on "our list". I was like, Wow! No wonder we have 650 DNCs in our territory! =)
We had some streets where four or five houses in a row were DNCs.
The WTBTS has figured out a way to cover its ass with by shifting its responsibility of staying off of posted private property onto that of the individual publisher.
If an individual publisher is imprudent and makes a call on private property and then gets sued, the WTBTS can legally state that the publisher was informed to stay off private property.
So the hapless publisher is now legally responsible for doing what the cult told them to do (which is going out in field service).
Your points are very good FG. Think about this though. If the householder calls the hall, do you think it's in the mechanism of the one answering at the hall to also try to dissuade the householder from becoming a DNC?
I once had someone complain about me to WTFarms. The service dept told the householder it was a "congregational issue", not a farm matter, because I wasn't a Bethelite, lol!
Actually, I tell people the ol' 'if you want something done right, do it yourself' and rather than tell the JW at the door to put you on the DNC list, to actually call the local Kingdom Hall and request it that way.
Also, posting a Private Property-No Trespassing sign in plan view from the street helps in that JWs are told NOT to enter private property.
Doing so puts the PUBLISHER at risk of legal action.
Hay, I may be a bit sad ! But actually I do not mind JW's knowcking on my door. If I have time, then I get them to think !
