Andy seems like a great guy in this, and he's right... it can get better. There are many great* gay people out there, but ironically (in my personal life) it was the opposite. I was straight and was bullied by a gay girl in middle school for like 2 years. I never knew she was a lesbian up until this past year. Don't ** get me wrong, gay people are great but she happened to be really evil and wouldn't stop harrassing me in 7th and 8th grade. She's just Personally evil.

I also agree that his message was fine until the end. I used to be overweight myself, and it wasn't until I lost the weight that I felt comfortable enough to come out, not because of not being accepted by my family, but by the gay community- all the gays like Andy Cohen who instill thoughts like this in young adults. And even now I get comments from my gay friends about how "huge" I used to be. People can be superficial in all walks of life- it's counter-productive and hurtful, I've felt it.

I'm not famous or anything else, but I do know that I love my family and friends and I don't care what they look like or what their orientation is sexually. No one should care about any of that!
