i watched one with commenrary, he said he DID smoke at the time of his tricks, but he could never receive health insurance because he quote "seemed like he was sucking on a car exhaust". so he quit the ciggarettes and has now receive the insurance. if you dont believe me search it.

well i saw pen & tellers - slight of the hand, i can tell u exactly when he takes the ball of napkins & cig's out of his mouth and into this hand...if u notice when he he shoving that napkin hard into his mouth, he takes the second one and rolls it up and throws it, ok, so we have the distraction, but when he gets rid of the napkins in his mouth is when he's shoving that one napkin at 3:35, the wad falls into his hand and his hand goes off camera..good act though 5/5
