  • what happened is Karma...Stuxnet came back to bite them in the ass...

  • man i wish they would just get rid of all these fucking nuclear plants.there nothing but trouble.these are going to be the demise of humanity..wait and see.

  • I live in Japan and from my experience, the news media will say whatever its told to say. Diesel generators my ass. There is a meltdown at the plant and the government won't admit it. Nothing to see here.

  • meltdown? I think a coverupis in the works.

  • LOL After what happene in Japan Nuclear Plants should have updated & regulated 24/7. People got to learn the hard way always it seems. Germany has 2 Nuclear plants left in operation. After they reach thier life time shut down Germany will be 100% Nuclear free. Ask the Japanese how they feel about Nuclear Energy & deregulation. Enough said.

  • As if the people in Chicago have anything to do with the politicians who fail to represent us. Show me a person in this country who thinks their Representatives properly represent them. Don't be a fool. Our propaganda media always gives us someone else to blame. Blame the crooked politicians, and no one else.

  • Hang on!, I though that nuclear power was supposed to be the cheapest, cleanest and safest for of electricity production. It's almost as if we are being lied to, in order to make a select group of people very rich.

  • @coffeebuzzz Naaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh

  • well if the officials say there is no danger, run like hell and dont look back

  • Nuclear power is the dirtiest form of energy there is and they still haven't found a way to dispose of nuclear waste. It just piles up in the basement of the reactor. A truly failed technology.

  • @ReliableInsider Shoot it at Jupiter ?

  • @restlesspride666

It would be too expensive to do, and when rockets failed, they'd rain radioactive debris on everyone below.

  • WE ARE IN SOME DEEP SHIT!!!!

  • @tbohman1331 not really

  • Bring it on you satan worshiping morons.........

  • Yeah staying in the house will protect you from radiation lol.

  • WHY NOT USE THORIUM... Is it because the waste products can't be used in nuclear weapons??? Is it because THORIUM is far more abundant than Uranium??? Is it because THORIUM is much safer in many ways???

  • A tiny amount of tritium? Big fucking deal. You've been bombarded with cosmic radiation for your entire life. Potassium pills would be completely useless, by the way. Not that a small amount of tritium in the atmosphere is a danger to anyone anyway.

  • @dennist3hmenace Radiation is a scary word to those who don't understand that without it, we'd be blind.

  • @atheistNalabama Clever. I like it. :)

Sure mishaps at nuclear power plants are concerning, and rightfully so. But this situation, if the news reports are truthful and accurate, is not a danger to anyone. These alarmist conspiracy theorists will blame anything on anyone. They relish the thought that the bogey man/new world order/Antichrist wants to kill them.

  • @dennist3hmenace When has the media EVER been truthful and accurate concerning nuclear accidents? Did they tell the truth about Japan? Did they tell the truth about Nebraska? Don't expect them to tell the truth about Illinois either.

  • so to clearify ; they havent the slightest idea "What happened" but are sure everyone was totally "safe"

wow...Illinois sure is lucky to have psychics working at their powerplants.

  • That is directly west of Chicago. The wind is blowing heavily east today.

    Chicago is fucked.

  • @Garlannd Chicago is an asshole city anyways. As a downstate Illinois resident I could care less about those pricks.

  • @xanos4225 you're a douche.

  • @lbcake8 How is it that I'm a douche? Elaborate please. Is it because of my hatred for a city that likes to dictate state policy even though they don't coincide with the rest of the states opinions and views? Is it their crooked backroom dealing politicians? Or could it be that they suck valuable tax money from downstate to fund their own projects that benefit only themselves? Seriously, if Chicago disappeared over night I wouldn't shed a single tear. Fuck Chicago in the ass.

  • Comment removed

  • Fuck.

  • Oh yes you can trust "officials" to keep you safe they wouldn't warn the public about any real danger . They (the government) only wants to keep the masses frozen in fear when it comes to "terror" .

  • I live 10 minutes away from this plant. I see it on my way to work everyday.

  • @jbeazeer And everything and everyone is perfectly fine.

  • I'm watching this from Chicago. Awesome.

  • These must be suicidal pills...

  • @slodok9 Probably thyroid pills or something like that.

  • @slodok9 Rather, Iodine tablets, to flood your thyroid with non-radioactive iodine so it doesn't soak up the radioactive stuff and give you cancer.

  • @slodok9 hahaha, maybe they were aging pills.

Its crazy how benign they can make "the release of radioactive steam for unknown reasons" sound.

  • This Event is being covered up because the Stock Market is much more important than you Sheep. Besides, if all of chicago stayed inside, it would hurt the economy too. The STUXNET Virus did Fukushima (see my video), The Gulf Spill, the San Fran gaspipe explosions, and probobly the nov 2011 illinois waterpump damage so it was IN the system for awhile. But look at the Timing and location. Hopefully Obama was stuffing his face with a burger outside in Chicago yesterday and breathing big Hits.

  • Not a Peep in 6 hrs on CNN.Zionist Jewish run Media coverup of the STUXNET VIRUS that the CIA and Israel let loose in the wild and is now melting down ill nuke plant like japans plant failed. and upwind of chicago and superbowl in a few days. If Iran snt it back modified, then blame israel and a war on iran by Obama the Puppet of Bush and traitor to the people who elected his lying black ass. How Ironic it would be if Iran used US made STUXNET and US Nuke Plants to nuke US. NUKE ISRAEL!

  • @911sheeple The racist shit is backward and uncalled for. If you don't like Obama, fine. That bigot stuff is for morons.

  • Chemtrails

  • as usual the news media got it about 40% right. and made up the rest.

  • it's sad that so much money is wasted on uranium, and so much more lies are told about Iran's nuclear power, all the while the USA dumps DPU rounds & dust for genocide into Afghanistan AND poisons ITS OWN PEOPLE with failing nuclear reactors

  • Many jobs can be created building new LFTR plants, from what I read and saw those type or reactors are safe and clean the way nuclear should have always been.

  • All credit should go to the military industrial complex for this. Their paid for media and advertisers have no interesting in sharing the truth, *sarcasm enters* most of you would simply get too depressed with reality and we can't have that. We need good consumers.

We have better choices for more stable long term nuclear power, but we chose the elements that gave us the biggest boom instead.

Power in exchange for cancer seems akin to worldly fortune for your soul.

  • Allot of you don't realize they have plans for diesel and coal plants in the works, my dad works for one the biggest energy company's in the US and most of these new (fossil) plants will be right next door to these old nuclear generating stations. Were gonna be sliding back to the age of China soon. Even though we can do the solar thing.

  • Don't people see through this bullshit by now? Doesn't it offend your common sense?? It seems that whatever poison is present, is okay. When contamination exceeds present standards for safety, they simply INCREASE the standard to accommodate. When rat droppings are found in food, we suddenly have an ACCEPTABLE amount we can safely consume. Crude oil and Corexit in your Gulf shrimp? It's okay, you can take it. And don't worry about Fukushima, cause we just increased your ACCEPTABLE limit... x100.

  • Thanks for the video

  • Radiation is good for you, fox news said so....

  • I'm about an hour east & a half hour south of there.

  • @StorminNormin1977 Are you trying to say your an hour and a half away? I'd probably drive a little further for the night.

  • Ohhh boy... just wait until all these old 'nukular' plants start breaking down... the shits gonna hit the fan!

  • H-3, or tritium is such a weak substance that it can't penetrate living cells, that's why it's in watches for everyday wear.

  • Yes, u will be protected of radiation if u will stay in the house.... Her daughter should go back to school ...

  • Nothing wrong with a nuclear power plan taking a fart.

  • further testing of the national eugenics program

  • .... Determine.. what. Happened... What. Bull

  • LOL sure, they only released a small amount of edible, breathable, good-for-you radiation!

Um, isn't that what TEP & Japanese govt also told the survivors of Fukushima, Japan's nuke melt-down disaster? They were also told they could eat the rice, the fish, & shrimp, even though they were clearly irradiated. Thank god, MOST didn't believe their own govt. For the usually go-along to get along Japanese culture, that was a big deal.

WHEN, will the "freest people on Earth" in America do the same?

  • it was an earthquake...

  • "Those pills they gave me." So what you're saying is that even though this didn't cause any death anybody they prepared the local populace for a more dramatic event years ago, just in case. Nuclear power plants wouldn't do that, they're evil. Remember Three mile island & the horrors caused by a meltdown. The sheer scale of the damage... to that floor the rods burned less than an inch into. Fewest deaths per kilowatt hour still goes to nuclear, the safest most reliable form of electrical power.

  • @BillyJoe1305 Also, in case anybody was wondering I'd bet gold to dollars she was talking about some form of iodine tabs.

  • @billionsofidiots, just mark him as spam like i did :-)

  • If that's bad just imagine how much worst nukes going off would be, Nuke Plants with reactor failures make it hard to live close so a war would mean nobody would survive, another War in the middle east could be the last war declared by Americans. War+Religion+nukes= bad idea.

  • They were making a man bear pig.

  • No nukes! Until we figure out what to do with the waste we have no business continuing to use these dinosaurs!

  • chicago gets its daily dose of radio active steam ...... wake up people they killing us!

  • our infrastructure is crumbling folks. our nuclear power plants, drinking water and sewage pipes are all ancient and desperately needs to be updated. but not obama or any of the GOP have any intention of fixing our infrastructure.

  • How much more nuked are we going to get this year?

  • @danielvincentkelley Just wait until we start fucking with Iran, Russia and China will not be happy.

  • Trying to determine what happened? Most of them were built 60 years ago, and had an estimated life of 60 years. That's what is happening. 90% of US nuclear reactors need to be replaced with new technology reactors. Or something better.

  • @darkhorseman81 You're right. By the time most nuclear reactors are built and completed they are already obsolete

  • @darkhorseman81 Something better: "Liquid Fluoride Thorium reactors" (LFTRs)

    It's the future.

  • @Merecir yeah no no they arent, any form of explosion energy has no future. Thorium like the ones china is switching to are much much better than cave man uranium I agree. But it is still explosion energy and that cannot advance a society only consume it.

Telluric Power stations and other forms of implosion energy generation is the only way for us to advance and survive.

For instance if we used telluric power the recent EM field disturbances from CME would juice us up for a good 10y.

  • @Merecir is it more dangerous than the regular nuclear reactors? if so, then perfect!

  • @T2Master01 No, thats the thing, they are not dangerous at all.

In fact, the reason why no one built any LFTRs other then the single test reactor was because it produces nothing that can be made into a nuclear weapon.

  • @darkhorseman81 It's just over 40 years old.

  • @darkhorseman81 . . . BUT. . . enviro nuts lobby government to BAR reactors from being built, thus leaving us with nothing but the old ones! Therefore the envrionazis are actually destroying the environment by making it impossible for newer, cleaner and safer reactors to replace the older ones.

  • Nuclear*

  • You still recieve more radiation a year if you live near a coal plant. A coal plant releases twice as much radiation over a nuclean power plant. Even with slight malfunctions such as these.

  • u really think mr burns has the peoples best intentions? listen to that little old lady "i took those pills they gave us a few years ago" HOLY FUCK ...

  • FUCK!!! I live in northern Illinois

  • HOMERRRRRRR!

  • So the proper response to a nuclear meltdown is to take the little pill and stay in the house?

Aliens know darn good & well we exist, it's just that they've boycotted & quarantined this planet for it's infectious stupidity

  • Go get dem pills dey gave me a couple years ago.

  • Why don't they don't build these things underground in say, abandoned (reinforced) mineshafts? If any problems were to happen, it would be contained.

  • Looks like the Israeli stuxent has made it to its intended targets.

  • So glad that we don't have these in my country

  • See us in 10 yrs and any ladies that get pregnant after the exposure ??

Be sure to call us if the child is born with an extra head but then again an extra anything just to be safe..

  • Germany got this one right - this stuff is not worth the risk in the long run. Safety in these regards are always mostly theoretical, as it simply can not be tested in any real way due to the ever present danger of real catastrophy. Yet they like to make you believe this stuff is as safe as your car, even though your car actually has been tested in real conditions and in every way thinkable. They dont know what happened? No shit, because in theory it should all have been just fine. *sigh*

  • @jaxeedcom Germany will be regretting that decision in about 15 years.

  • "Officials are still trying to determine exactly what happened." But whatever happened, they're sure it was safe. But of course, that's the claim for every possible nuclear incident. If it was another Fukushima they'd also say "there's no immediate danger" just as they did in Fukushima.

"Not safe" is not a term in the nuke-speak lexicon.

  • seriously?!

  • fart

  • Just search "magnetic motors" "free energy systems". Nuclear is dirty and dangerous. The technology is out there, but greedy corporations stop or even kill those who would go against them. watch?v=JYeI7r52Oyg

  • anyone that supports nuclear energy IS a terrorist. they have no right to inflect cancer onto the public.

  • "Don't worry; the air is safe to breathe."

Now where did I hear that before?...

  • greeeeeeeeeat im downwind.

  • Well god damn, they don't need to be running the fucking plant if they have no clue what went wrong. Their answer is "it just broke".

  • Comment removed

  • @MichaelPAUSA socialism works?? you are fucking retarded...no it dont and hasnt...it works for the lazy freeloaders...im sure thats where u view it from..eventually socialism fails..it has every time

  • @6mechanix6 socialism works no better and no worse than "capitalism". The lazy freeloaders which apparently includes you, sucks regardless of which system they are put in. Duh.

  • @garytcw socialism doesn't work at all. Capitalism works only when socialist government is not sabotaging it to destroy it. the only thing that doesn't work is you.

  • Don't worry, the private sector out of the kindness of their own hearts are in the background coming up with a cleaner, safer power source. Should be announced tomorrow

  • @TheTruthBToldShow Guess you haven't been paying attention to LENR technology..

  • @DonSolo52

LOL, gonna deny public money involved in Cold Fusion?

  • @DonSolo52

You do know the difference between public and private right? You do know that most of the scientists that have helped push LENR or cold fusion have been funded and housed by PUBLIC universities, right?

Therefore, you replying to my joke about the private sector by mentioning LENR which has been publicly housed and funded, at least in part, proves you missed the point.

  • @TheTruthBToldShow LMAO, You mean nuclear energies new Fluoride reactor blue prints? You are just another mouth piece for the NWO.

  • @LendMeYourHand

Awe, do we have another big talking teabilly paul-ite who will pretend they have some hidden factual information? You little guys come a dime a dozen and always end up talking out your ass or running off on conspiracy theories.

  • I guess Homer fell asleep on the job again...

  • take the pill granny

  • Why are we still using nuclear?

  • as they will tell you "well you are fucked sry"

  • Who are the terrorists again?

  • "We are still trying to figure out what happened, but you are all safe." *sarcasm inflected*

  • Now that the world has seen what a meltdown can do, by way of Fukushima, I think we all should start to reconsider nuclear power. The stuff is so damn risky.

  • @freedomwv Right?! It is the height of arrogance of man to suggest that this destructive force will not, one day, lead to the innhilation of our species. We've been extremely lucky... well, most of us. It's just a matter of time. At least the German people get it! Unfortunately for them, they're surrounded by others who don't, so they'll have to die alongside those who choose not to understand the seriousness of our stupidity. And for what... saving a few dollars?!

  • If i'm not mistaken, the deactivated Zion Station, directly east on the Michigan lakefront, was considered the most risky.

Nuclear power is a dead end technology.

  • what happened, they think where dumb. nuclear winter anyone. LUVBUG NRC hahaha

  • Was this the dresden plant ? I only ask because Morris IL is my home town but when I seen the old lady is from Byron I assumed it was a different plant. Also I see it was an Exelon plant and not a Com. Ed. plant so i am not worried anymore.

  • Now what?

  • Don't worry about a little thing like radiation....

"Dr" Ron Paul will save us all with property rights. Okay, so we'll already be sick and dying before we can use those rights.... but it would totally be constitutional!!!

    Ron Taft 2012!!!

  • @TheTruthBToldShow Gotta love idiots on the internet... I don't know if you know this or not but things like this happen everyday and your wonderful government is doing nothing but raising the danger area higher so no one notices until they are dead. But hay blame things like this on Ron Paul because he wants to put the power back in our hands rather then be sleep at the wheel like(your candidate's name here). Because they are all the same aside from a hand full.

  • @JRMCNEA

You FIX the government in a situation like this. You stop the lobbying, you stop the corporate influence. That's what fixes this. Along with funding projects to produce a better use of power sources.

What you DON'T do is take all federal power away and let the public fend for themselves.

I think I already destroyed your whole "put the power back in our hands" in my original comment.

  • @TheTruthBToldShow Yeah you did. except for one small thing. This is what has been done over the past few centuries. And i don't know if you noticed or not. But It isn't working too well. "you" who ever that is has been electing people who are ready and willing to sell out to any bidder who is willing to bid. "you" has set idly by fighting over what rights should be allotted to the rest of us.(Abortion. Assisted suicide Raw milk ect) while the country is being ransacked.

  • @TheTruthBToldShow --- Until "you" can fix the problem with uninformed voters electing dishonorable people. Because that is what they are. I would rather fend for myself and ruin my own life then be dragged down with an ignorant unintelligible mob of ingrates who are looking form someone to blame rather then looking to fix the problems. Until we prevent vested interests other then the citizens from investing in our elections "you" will run this country into the ground.

  • Those "pills" they gave her a couple of years ago, were they suicide pills? In case of severe radioactive poisoning.

  • @rzxwm10 No they are pills that temporarily curb the effect of radiation.

  • You play with fire, you're gonna get burned.

  • Sure are a lot of story's / excuses for all the radiation in the US now....FUCKuSHEEMA .a.nd the other 2 that are in "melt-down"...much?

  • Never believe what '' officials '' tell you. Those people are fucked..

  • @PastDolGoal

everything is ok guys, thats what the news said so just believe it little sheeple, same with japan, america is safe guys, oh so safe

  • @PastDolGoal

Yeah, it's really convenient that cancers generally take years to develop so it'll be that much harder to prove in 20 years.

  • "Don't worry, you are not in any danger"....sound familiar? Memories of Fukashima
