  • Ha , Ha , Ha , always liked the song but couldn't remember the vidl , looks like some weird glory hole porno movie !

  • What a bunch of fucking tossers

  • @soash20 even though I uploaded it - which I did because it was asked for - I have to agree with you

  • @soash20 You my friend are the f****** tosser. Have a NICE DAY)

  • @IanD309 All my days are lovely and I don't have this lame shit hanging around my neck - how's your day?

  • @IanD309 Agreed!!

  • Interesting to revisit after nearly 30 years, but a poor track really...

  • superrr

  • great early 80s song

sadly one of those songs never played anymore

  • Andy Overall (lead singer) is a mate of mine - I also work with him. Blue Zoo are currently gigging around London - go check em out....

  • dude......wtf

  • Long live the 80's and the greats bands of that decade.

  • @johncasey435588 ...die boy die!!!!!!!

  • @johncasey435588 say what you mean mate, don't hold back lol

  • @johncasey435588

Great song... shame about the video! Thanks for sharing though - it's one of those weird 80s ones that they only could've got away with then. No wonder it never got shown on Top of the Pops! ;-)

  • @TheCanndyman As opposed to the shit as hell vids now-basic adverts for sexless egoists who think what they're really doing is fantastic when the opposite is truth. Of course as they're all much alike now, you couldn't pick one out-just like you couldn't pick out one 'singer' from another-they all sound/look the same-i.e very bloody awful! Pop vids have often been bad, but back then the song would always rise above it, plus it was their only way of promoting the single to the masses-unlike now.

  • @johncasey435588 ....such a great constructive comment...well done you...you are so so clever x

  • Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not had this since my old mix cassette tapes (taped off David "Kid" Jensen's shows on Radio 1 no doubt) were consigned to the bin.

  • Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not had this since one of my old mix tapes, taped off Radio 1, David Kid Jensen no doubt, died.

  • glory holes

  • I love this song... but the video is a very different story, it's nonsence!

  • Top live band they're playing The Lexington London N1 on 5th October

  • I bought the UK version vinyl of 2 by 2 an hour ago. I finally know the lyrics to John's Lost! I do prefer incoherent singing over clear vocals though.

  • Yeah, I know I'm going to send all the ageing New Romantics into a tizz that may require the remedial attentions of an Emergency Hairdresser, but with these sorts, the music was entirely by-the-way.

What mattered was just how long they spent in the hairdresser's chair & the bouffance of their fringes.

    Nothing else really mattered.

  • Memories thanks so much.

  • another '80's goody!! thanks

  • I was 13 when this was released. I'm 41 now and I still get goose pimples when I hear it. The memories of my youth are still vivid. What a great era. "You don't know a good thing 'til it's gone" is such a true statement.

  • this song is out of this world? still sends me into heaven

  • Flemwad you're a star!! Thanks for posting this. Had forgotten about it till a friend mentioned it...gotta love You Tube :o)

  • See their blog...just search for Blue Zoo on Wikipedia and there is a link to it there.

They played a gig last night in Shepherds Bush and it was really good hearing this material live. They seriously pulled it off and I really hope they come back again soon.

  • Very 80's. £2,000 budget for the video. Those Trever Horn glasses. The front guy had a good look about him in a weird way...good dental work for the 80's.

  • I couldn't have put that better!

  • What a piece of perfect 80's pop! I'm back dancing with my mates at the "disco" - that's "clubbing" for the younger audience- acting the prat and watching the girls dance around their handbags. OOOH those salad days!

  • Can someone please tell me why Blue Zoo's video for Forgive and Forget has been removed? I used to love watching that as well as this video.

  • yes i love it too....

  • Forgive and Forget is great song. It's really weird that it's not as popular as other 80s hits.

  • The guy with the huge glasses looks like a cross between a young John Major and Trevor Horn!

"This distraction turns me sideways" - that's a great lyric.
