Funny, but bad advice. It takes practice, a lot of practice, but its not too difficult once you start to get the hang of it. If you decide to give up, however, then you shouldnt be playing guitar. Pretty good tutorial man keep t up. I advise using the a tab to go with it though, just so you have another reference point.

He plays it like its a bar chord and a g chord (from open form) put together... The VERY first part of the intro.. he uses it once the whole song.

Again, when I say "form" i'm not referring to the tonality, I'm referring to SHAPES ... I'm a n00b at theory so it felt the easiest way to describe it, and I stole it from a theory book, actually.

C-A-G-E-D sequence - it makes chords easier to learn and form if you think of them ALL THE WAY up the neck as a series of shapes...
