I hold a special place for this song in my heart. I actually just got employed at a "5 and dime" (dollar store) around the time I heard this song. one of the supervisors was a beautiful latina girl, who happened to wear a red hat in the winter. we dated off and on for about 8 months.

I got this song on a sampler from MidHeaven (Midhaven?) Records years ago.

This was a standout track - I think it's a brilliant cover.

The album is actually quite pricey to buy now - £20 and upwards!
