  • sick beat keep it up!

  • nice

  • I want to hear this song when it is done!!

This just gets me even more ready because a buddy and I are going half on an mpc so I can start producing more beats, the way we like them, for him to write/freestyle to. Gotta start somehwere!!

(please believe me, NO jocking whatsoever.)

  • Hey nomad I want to buy some good hardware cause all I got at the moment is fruity loops. What would you recommend to start off with?

  • @ApexBeats That all depends on what type sound you are looking for. There are so many machines out there to mess with, for instance im looking for a sp1200 myself.. That machine is probably older than most youtube rappers.. feel me? BUT it provides that late 80's early 90's lo-fi sampling hiphop sound. Im a fan of the Akai mpc series myself..(2000xl) The 3000 is also DOPE.. J Dilla used a 3000. Id say go watch a few videos to see what provides that sound that you want.. Anything in mind yet?

  • @omone00 Yea I mean I have heard so much about MPC's, but they are upwards 1k and im not sure about spending that much when there is a chance i may not like them. But i think pads would be cool. As for sound, I really like the old school deep kinda stuff, dunno if you heard of mood, but the kinda style they use on the track nuclear hip hop.

  • @ApexBeats i know this question is a couple months old, but if you already using flstudio, you might look at a mpd or mpk. they're both controllers made by akai, and are used to manipulate flstudio like a mpc. some purists might look down on em, but if you want that mpc feel while using a daw for all of your sounds, you can't beat em. i love my mpd26, but then again i was first introduced to fruityloops in 2001 and haven't used anything since so i might be biased. peace

  • nice

  • @dilliot2k Thanks man. Coming from a producer like yourself that means a lot. PEACE FAM!!

  • Nice vid My dude!!!! Happy easter Nomad!! Peace and Pot!!

  • How many times have I seen that done!Don't ask....!Cool to see though ..Thanks for the vid bro!

  • @2blakandbold You can say that about anything really... im sure you have seen many people play the guitar... well with the mpc it's all about style and technique. Everyone does it differently.... If you look closely thats why all the comments usually come from other producers.. . that have already used this machine 1000 times. EVERYONE does it a different way... This is how we decide who the good and bad producers are... Its not the use.. its how YOU use it

  • @omone00 Hmm!Of course ,to be for sure!I remembering MPC's That go back even farther than these .

    True true true!!!
