What you folks are confusing is that repeating yourselves does not make what you say true. You made the claim that hemp CURES cancer. I want you to back it up. You have yet to do that. You can attempt to appeal to fear and emotion all you want but it won't sway me. I require hard evidence and you don't have it. If your claim was that THC has been shown to work in some cases, or has an effect then I would not object. In no way have you proven that it CURES cancer.

I would also encourage those who may be reading this to do their own research. Don't take either of our words for it. I would suggest sticking with peer reviewed journals. What that means is that they come up with a an idea, test it, release the results for others to try to prove wrong. It's not a perfect system but it does provide checks and balances about claims made. There are many good resources out there.

I would also like to state that as a cancer patient I am disgusted by claims made by people like you. You give false hope to family and victims of cancer. Many times the expense is monetary as well as emotional. I have SEEN people with cancer die because they gave up treatments that work for one that is supposed to cure them. It is heartbreaking for the family left behind. People have the right to the treatment of their choice. That doesn't mean you have the right to rip them off.

I have no doubt that pot can be useful in treating cancer, however there was nothing in the articles that you sent that provide one ounce of evidence that it can CURE cancer. Another thing, it is not against the law to make medicine from a plant. Otherwise aspirin would be illegal since it's main ingredient is comes from the inner bark of a White Willow tree. There are many types of cancer and every individual has a different experience. I have had a terminal brain tumor called a Mixed Glioma for two years. March will mark the one year anniversary of when I was supposed to die.

While I feel that your intentions are basically good I would ask you to educate yourself on different types of cancer and refrain from generalizing about us.
