Not really. Apparently she and her parents made a promise that she would stop being a singer if her grades dropped. After her mom passed away, her grades dropped and she was to either fullfill the promise or ignore and sing. So she quit.

See, I thought her mom just died recently, because that's what I heard; and that she wars her mom's ring. I know Sun Ye from WG, her mom died when she was 5 or so.

Yeah, she was trained for a while! And it must have been great training. I wonder what it was like to finally train with the other girls before debut.

I don't think it's recent, but i don't know when her mom passed away. Well, she said her mom taught her art, so she should be old enough to remember her mom, but just not recent.

I read that SungHee's time training was pretty lonely until they formed KARA. She trained alone, since i don't think DSP had other female trainees before KARA. She must be extra happy now bcuz she has Gyuri now XD
