This is one of those WB cartoons that they were contractually obligated to give voice credit to Mel Blanc, but he had nothing to do with it. The voice of "Poppa" is Billy Bletcher, the voice for "Momma" is Bea Benaderet, and the voice of "Baby" is Stan Freberg.

I just love it when he goes up in a flash of smoke at 1:21 - 1:22, it sets the tone for the rest of the 'toon. Something was cut between 6:08 - 6:11, because the smoking shotgun is unexplained, except for Papa Bear giving a "come hither" motion to Mama Bear with his finger. I seem to remember that maybe Papa Bear got a trouser full of shotgun pellets? But I don't recall how/ why it happened. Thanks for taking the lid off and posting it.
