  • what an abusive husband and terrible father XD

  • I really miss how cartoons not only used to be incredibly violent, but incredibly insensitive as well. You've got an abusive, bad-tempered father, an overly passive mother who refuses to take charge, and an overgrown child who is probably mentally retarded. You just can't do that now! BUT IT'S SO FUNNY!

  • @CodyRicheson Well done, but is there an Italian version of What's Brewin' Bruin?

  • Does anyone knows the name of the track in that days when cartoon network finished the program at 22:00 ( All the letters transformed in: Zzzzzzzzzzzz) and MGM started? I would really appreciate if someone knows that track!! Thank you.

  • @ 5:56

OOOH MAN! That's gotta hurt. AHAHAHAHA! XD

  • @vylicer the year when everything went wrong was 2008 when cartoon network fired

Jim Samples but thats when the problem reached to it's peak, not when it started. Things only got worse AFTERWARDS. You

Tube myth says that all of these problems started waaaaay back in 04 when they changed the logo, but even then, they were

Still showing fairly good cartoons including

Looney tunes. I think it started in 06 that's when things went went wrong.

  • now there can be an easy explanation for why junior bear is soo freakin grown

before his time. take a closer look, mama bear stands waaay talller than henry

so....junior bear must have a 99.9% of his mother's genes. i guess mama bear

got some freakin colosal huge pe-folks on her side. i can image what her daddy

looks like, probably size of shaq

  • the broom smacking part, its funny and all but at the same time its not funny and

its wrong. my assumption is to why henry is so mad all the time is because he

have to put up with his son making mistakes all the time

  • @Addiskrilla The censors let the animators get away with violence like this but they couldn't have the characters swear out loud. I'm sure they wanted Henry to call Junor a goddamn fucking stupid retarded asshole, and even wanted to have him stick the broom handle up Junior's ass but there were limits. The theme in many of these cartoons is brutalize the hell out of each other and even kill someone if you can but make it amusing when you torture them.

  • he busted him in his muthafuckin face. i should call em rocky

  • 1948 those years were great... Everything were simple but great... :)

  • I am surprised we don't have someone on here crying about how Papa Bear abused Baby Bear and then no doubt Baby Bear killed Papa and went on a shooting spree because we all know kids that get spanked turn out that way.

  • These are some of the best characters Chuck Jones invented! I would rather watch these 3 bear cartoons then all the Road Runner ones. No offence to any Road Runner fans.

  • @tailsxcream +1, they're awesome, and hubie and bertie too.

  • Ooops...never mind about "Momma." That obviously isn't Bea...

  • This is one of those WB cartoons that they were contractually obligated to give voice credit to Mel Blanc, but he had nothing to do with it. The voice of "Poppa" is Billy Bletcher, the voice for "Momma" is Bea Benaderet, and the voice of "Baby" is Stan Freberg.

  • Man... jones should've continued the three bears series, those are freakin hilarious and the funniest cartoons jones did!

  • Thanks man....i've been looking for this......these are the cartoons worth watching...came 2000 something and things weren't the same....

  • good news! Papa bear is set for return in the looney tunes show 2011.

  • @AliceSonicGundamFan If so, his character will have to be changed, there's no way he coudl act like this today, the femininst, and child-abuse people, violence against women people would all have a fit. I DO remember the Bear Family was in the alst Loony Toons movie briefly, but they Pa Bear didn't act ANYTHING like he does here, he was actually laughing and joking around as they walked through a park lol

  • thank u !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • Funny Cartoon! Thanks for sharing it! I remember seeing this on Cartoon Network years ago =)

  • 5:51 OOOOOO NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL, "BOOM, HEADSHOT".

  • LMAO @ 6:06 CLASSIC!!! :)

  • you know even as a kid i hated this cartoon cuz the dad was super mean, the mom was a total wimp and the kid was so stupid lol! every character bugged the crap outta me and i was like, 7.

  • Oh man haven't seen this in forever, Thanks for sharing! The scenes of Papa Bear knocking around his kid are too funny. No way they would ever make cartoons like this today. That's the point! Even back then, people would of been WTH?!? but laughed cuz they would of known it was wrong...This cartoons were not meant for kids, people just think if its a cartoon that its meant for kids. Watch first, then decide if your kid should see it or not...

  • @JediSpice Quite right these were not made for kids. Director Chuck Jones pointed out they were made to accompany wholesome Warner Bros. family fare like 'Scarface' and 'Public Enemy'!

  • so funny XD

  • 7:01 QUIEEEET!!!! LOL

  • Because this video is funny But I did not find them funny because the Looney Tunes Three Bears character, Henry (Pa Bear)'s Anger management and violence.

  • Comment removed

  • I should use Henry Bear's scenes to make "Top Henry Bear's Angriest moments in looney Tunes".

  • 4 people are negative and angry like Pa Bear.

  • if you can find "fathers day" remember? tnt pipe tobacco,my pah.... wed be more than thankful. thanks for this you and warner bros. i need a diaper, cause i filled it with laughs.

  • @noodlesmealey Ask and you shall receive. I just posted the clip you are looking for. youtube.com/watch?v=1gBRmAeJuOU

  • Papa Bear only wanted six more weeks of winter.

  • This is what I loved. And, will always love, WB in the time made shorts to show before the feature film, that is why they are not the PC garbage our kids today have to see. These were adults who did what made them laugh. That is the secret to the success of their work.

  • Henry("Pa bear") is off his rocket, gotta love him. I used to compare this to my grandpa, grandma and uncle, so true, lol!

  • That sure is one moose-hatin' family. They're worse than the Palins.

  • the part when the baby bear knocked papa bear oh his head and papa bear was smoking and angrily grinning nearly killed me.LOL XD

  • love it a 5:50 the song, stars and colors. Because Jr. thinks in all his heart he is doing a good job stoping the intruder. ... Wrong

  • looool really it's so funny

    I like it

  • Pause from 1:13-1:22, 3:43-3:46, and 6:04-6:07. You'll get a laugh attack! And from 5:18-5:20, Henry was smacking Junyer with the broom in time to the song, LOL!

  • YAAAY Child abuse

  • @atecom

    Especially abuse BY the child!

  • QUIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEET!!!!!!!!!! LMAO

  • Pa bear will hear from the Child Protection and UNICEF and he'll be hibrnating several winters in prison :D

  • @siralucard19 People bash Pa bear, but it's weird that people think Granny from the Beverlly Hillbillies was FUNNY when she would beat on big dumb Jethro, I really don't see the difference.

  • @siralucard19

Yes, and he will be snuggling down in his cell with a horrible grin on his face because he think he can finally get some peace and quiet...

  • This takes domestic violence to a whole another level lol

  • Thank you so very much for posting this classic cartoon, the last time I saw this was when I had DirectTV. Too bad today's cartoons SUCK!!!! :(

  • @SoundwaveX7 I agree todays cartoons really do suck.

  • These are what cartoon of today should be made of.

  • Is that Billy Bletcher voiceing Papa Bear?

  • @dolphinluv2413 yes it is his successor as the voice of pa a.k.a. "Henry"Bear was Mel Blanc (the original voice for Pa bear)Mel gets one line in this cartoon as Pa Bear shouts 'QUIEEEEEET!".

  • A classic!!!! Thanks so much

  • The Three Bears by Warner Brothers:

America's first dysfunctional family....... nuff said!!

  • So abusive lol

  • @SamirasoFi oh well lets get offended by every little thing.

  • @msturn1975 I was getting offended at all. I just felt like pointing out the obvious. Besides this abusive stuff is funny

  • i've been searching for this episode a lot...millions of thanks for uploading it

  • @danypunct

Me too! I remember a night that couldn't sleep and around 5 or 6 in the morning I saw this cartoon and LMFA when Junior gives Papa Bear the brush to spank him but he goes at his head instead! That was around 1988... thanks a million for uploading this!

  • I like it aw laute! Mate! Mg

  • Can anybody find me the Father's Day one? MY PA!! LET'S GIVE A CHEER FOR FATHER!!!!

  • papa bear reminds me of my papa

  • thanks for posting. I havent seen this one in years. why hasen't this gem been released on dvd as part of the Golden Collection?

  • The father is abusive,Jr. is retarded and the mother just goes with the flow .Yall didn't know,Behind the scenes the father be getting high as shit.

  • Chuck Jones is a genius

  • Not to mention...

    Domestic Violence

...have we lost our sense of humor ? :P

  • Nowadays..a cartoon like this will be banned for ..

    Child Abuse..

    WIfe abuse

    Mocking the Disabled..

    and Damaging the Environment...

thats why we have Nora (or whatshername the explorer) ...

damn i miss these cartoons... :@

  • Not to mention...

    Domestic Violence

...have we lost our sense of humor ? :P

  • @Adastra14 What does :@ stand for? Never saw that IM symbol before so just wondering. Also I'm on your side, gotta get these on DVD. There were only three to four modern cartoons that came close to the humor and brilliance of Looney Tunes: Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Freakazoid, and Histeria!. Tiny Toons and Animaniacs definitely, they were excellent sequals. Freakazoid was like a brilliant Looney Tune superhero show. Histeria! is just a guess since I haven't seen much of that show.

  • @MWolfL

Hehe :@ means an angry face :P hehehehe. cheers!

  • @Adastra14

Thanks, gotta remember that for future reference.

  • gosh, what an abusive father

  • @Ottoraver Well, look at what he has to deal with. With a kid as powerful and as stupid as Junyer Bear, Pa almost has to beat him just in order to survive.

  • I remember first watching this when I was five. I only recognised it when it got to the end.

  • If only modern cartoons would learn from this.

    Thanks for the upload

  • This is the 3 Stooges in bear form

    Pa is Moe

    Ma is Larry

    Junior is Curly.

  • I laughed out loud. Several times.

Thanks so much for posting this.

  • CLASSIC,

    Thanks for posting.

  • I like this cartoon very very much. I like baby bear. He is so funny, and the most interesting thing is that he is the biggest in the familey and has not got a drop of any brain.

  • Thank you for uploading!

Now it is my favourite three bears cartoon and even one of my favourite Warner Brothers cartoons.

And also the only cartoon I know where Papa Bear is really happy in the ending.

So sad that it wasn't released on the Golden Collection.

  • THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you're welcome :)

  • I just love it when he goes up in a flash of smoke at 1:21 - 1:22, it sets the tone for the rest of the 'toon. Something was cut between 6:08 - 6:11, because the smoking shotgun is unexplained, except for Papa Bear giving a "come hither" motion to Mama Bear with his finger. I seem to remember that maybe Papa Bear got a trouser full of shotgun pellets? But I don't recall how/ why it happened. Thanks for taking the lid off and posting it.

  • you're welcome :D

  • @cmans79tr7 unexplained? Mama bear's been firing it at Papa bear in the previous scene about 15 times :D

  • You knew when "The Bruins" came on, hysterical laughter soon followed!

  • 5:05 i jut knew it!!! hahahahaha

  • I gotta say the window scene reminds me so much of my family. I like it cool and moving air, but not too cold, so my family is always messing with the ac (rather than the window in this cartoon).

I have to say that was the most annoying moose call I've ever heard.

  • The fathe remains me of my high school music teacher....Bi Polar

  • Ahh, domestic violence. The cause of and answer to problems with your family. Jokes (for the PC crowd).

  • i think junyer shaved himself & became homer. or even worse, ..... peter (shudder)

  • good

  • Pa Bear kicks ass!

    Literally. LOL

  • hell yeah

  • @BronkoScunkadelik One of my favorite characters.

  • lol at the big baby

  • lol at everything! :D

  • ive been looking for these episodes for so long thanks so much for uploading! :D

  • one of the best episodes i've seen!

  • The bear that used to rant under his breath was Hill Billy Bear a Hanna Barbbara cartoon

  • where'd all the pure comedy go from cartoons? I swear no cartoon on teletoon or anywhere else is nearly as funny as this.

  • Is it just me or did the papa bear use to go on a rant and say a bunch of slurs under his breath... im 90% sure that was this cartoon. has it been censored since the original? im positive this was it

  • If Pa had a daughter, I wonder if he would smack her aroudn like that?

  • He would would probably have to take it and she would be his pumpkin pie and he will adore her.probably.

He wont hit her cuz well he hasn't hit his wife.

  • RedCloud-I think he DID hit his wife once, in Beedeviled Bruin, it was after he got electrocuted by the lamp.

I like to theorize about cartoons like this. Like "what-if".

  • Okay i saw that episode he took a swing at her but didn't hit her,That what he dose to her everytime he try to swing at her he misses.Which is still a wrong thing to do.

  • I don't thik it's any more wrong than hitting your child.

  • Junyer electrocuted his father on the wire when he played with the switch. He made him into a lamp, which angered him and punched him hard. Then he does take a swing at his wife, but he misses.

  • I never could tell if he actually hit her or just swung at her.

  • he does take a swing at her, but he misses.

  • No, because if Henry did hit their daughter, his wife, Mama Bear would kick his ass for a long time. In the end, he would put up with her antics anyway because he loves her no matter what.

  • @ladyfire44 Ma only showed ONE act of aggression toward Pa and that was when he was about to kill Bugs Bunny lol

  • @pgy002

More likely she'd be the one to smack him!

  • THIS was WAY closer to American family life than "Leave it to Beaver" back in the day. WAY WAY closer.

  • 3.39 got me trippin. He punched his son right square on the face. Have to be his setp son. lol

  • Quite an abusive father. Without a doubt, one of the best WB cartoons ever, as well as the best in the Three Bears cartoons. I love the shot on 5:56. Father bear never wore pants, but when he did in "... Back in Action", Brenden Fraser stole them.

  • I miss the old days. Great cartoon. Sadly, cartoons and TV as a whole is pure shit now.

  • agreed now the only cartoons around are the random things like ben 10 on the cartoon network

  • That is exactly like my family, but we have a fourth bear. I am baby bear btw.

  • hahaha half past November lol jokers

  • Oh man! Memories!!!!!

  • He just yells "QUIET!!!" and every sign of spring goes in reverse... This cartoon is just too funny. :D

  • that took me back. best toons ever. thanks

  • lol he beats his kid

  • im pretty sure baby bear's retardation has to do with papa bear beating the shit out of him all the time. Man talk about bear abuse!! or cub abuse lol!

  • LMAO!!! That's true!!!!

  • I dunno, sometimes I think would Pa have hit him so much if he weren't so dumb to start with?

  • well the beating is still making him even worse then he is, i mean he is a growing kid/bear so regular smacks to the head isnt doing him any good

  • Comment removed

  • Best of the Bear family episodes... Sweet! Thanks!

  • Yeah; there was one that I saw years ago; that involved a family of opossums. Junior was ALWAYS sleeping; I bet they got the idea for this from that one. lol

  • Good old classic Looney Tunes just NEVER get old!

The old shows are a heck of alot better than the crap they got on nowadays.

  • oh my god the part with the snowman, I forgot all about that, I laughed my ass off the first time I saw that

  • hahahahaha this is too funny; it justs brings out that inner child in you.... Papa Bear was truly bipolar!!!

  • Great classic cartoons. Talk about "Anger Management "issues! LOL! Junior and Papa Bear- what a combo. I wish these cartoons would be played today. Thanks!!

  • thanks for posting this firuleos! one of the funniest along with droopy 1, where they wake the bear lol

  • I would never marry an impatient bad tempered weenie like papa bear! Lol!!!

  • Poor Papa Bear, he just could never get a break.

Thanks for sharing this timeless classic. Still funny as ever!!!!

  • Love papa bear, reminds me of dear ol dad.

  • mannn i love all the 3 bears clips...baby bear try so hard to be a good son...and fails lol

  • i love how he jus fucks baby bear up!! shit is funny. he jus POWs him in the nose!!!

  • the rainbow of stars after pa hits junyer is what gets me

  • sorry, i meant waterfall of stars.

  • I love this cartoon!!! It was so fucking hilarious!!!!

  • from 5:31, papa bear gets his moose head, forcing other bears to kick his butt. Nice hit baby bear + love this cartoon very much. What da ya say people?

  • I freakin' love PAPA BEAR!:))))=))))!

  • When I first saw this funny cartoon when I was a student at California School for Deaf in Riverside. It made me laugh so hard when Papa bear gets pissed off at his Baby bear everytime and it is driving me crazy inside my brain so badly about 27 ago. Oh god, I really love this unforgetten cartoon.

  • Man, the dad bear is so abusive

  • Baby Bear, voiced by the incomparable Stan Freberg

  • Actually, Kent Rogers played Junior (Freberg assuming the role after Rogers's death in World War II)

  • are we gonna stay up all winter??? cant you see it's half past november! lol.....

well i though it was funny...

  • Momma Bear is ruthless!!!

  • Fucking awsome Cartoon, that Pappa Bear is a badass and the son is a Dumbass but is a hulk...kickass

  • I loved this cartoon!!! XD Cracked me up everytime!!

  • That kid didn't even do anything, the Dad lost the game and fired on the kid...lol

  • Junior was telling him the WRONG cards to play I think.

  • God, I hate pa Bear's Temper, it sucks!!

  • Man I know one thing!! Papa Bear be beating Baby Bears ass LMAO

  • Here's a big kiss for you firuleos for sharing. I'm mighty grateful!!!

  • I've looking for this for years too. Thank you for sharing!

  • you're welcome :-D

  • This was so dang funny!! XD Thanks so much for posting it. :)

  • I'm looking for the Warner cartoon, probably from the late 1930's or early 1940's, where a grandfather tells his grandson about a hunting trip "about 40 years ago" where he runs into a bear that was "wacky about tobaccy".

(No, I'm not talking about "wacky tobaccy"!)

The bear kept trying to get to grampa's chewing tobacco. Anyone know which 'toon I'm referring to?

  • Maybe you're talking about The Major Lied Until Dawn but not sure.
