  • Ummm, the purpose of a rope bag is so you do NOT have to bother coiling the rope! just flake the rope right into/onto the bag. Be sure and grab the top end next time you want to climb, and no tangles and super fast. Coiling is for the times you do not have a rope bag. Other than that, nice technique.

  • no dumbass youre supposed to find the two ends first...

  • nice!

  • NO DBB6 your the fucking loser come on this guy looks like a chuck norris brownie leader.Hardly has the physical prowess of a climber.Everybody knows expert village sucks ass.Further more your the little prick.

  • how long is the rope?

  • As long as you choose for what you need. But, the rope he is demonstrating is about 200 foot. Or 100 foot doubled for climbing.

  • i THINK it is 60 metres of standerd 10mm ...

  • excellent video - I had never thought of coiling it in two halves and storing it that way, will save loads of time at the wall from peeling it every time I want to do another climb.

  • This is great, thanks very much. I have seen guys doing this and couldn't quite see how it worked, so thanks a lot!

  • store in a cool dry place what a fucking loser

  • He isn't a dead loser though is he?

  • No Jamesy...your the looser...this guy has more fun climbing in a day than you'll EVER have in a lifetime of jerkin' people off in the comments of youtube. You're a little prick.

  • hey are you the climber ? i think not obviously. if you where a climber then you would reconsider calling him a looser

  • hahaha, you spelled "loser" incorrectly. :)

  • lmao :P

  • I actually like the bag idea... keeps your line out of the sand at the base. Hard dirt particles such as granite and limestone embedded into rope threading acts like little razor blades when the rope is stressed at a bend or stepped on. The latter is avoidable, however the former is unavoidable. Case in point, keep your rope clean - keep it in a bag or on the mat at the base!! THanks for the vid!

  • looks like another 5 lbs to carry around....

  • You have to be kidding. What is the purpose of the rope bag if not to chuck it in a pile and get going. sems like a ot of work. Reminds me of the brit non style coil.

  • Its proper name is the butterfly coil.

  • Very simliar to the moth coil.
