The hard part is helping them understand what we want, once the communication is made they love it. It's called training, so get over it, I'm sure they ate it after he was done. That just shows how much control he has over his dogs so he could actually stop them if they run outside before they run in the street and get run over. You can train a dog to be patient without doing bad things to them. He has them in doggy day care also somewhere where they can meet other dogs during the day instead of just being in the house when he's gone.
