This game was bad, from start to finish. Why?
1.This so-called "Prince" is nothing but a douchy wannabe reject.
2.He fights like a cheap ripoff of Altair from Assassin's Creed.
3.He's a fucking idiot. Why? Because he undoes everything he went through just to revive the girl he somehow found to love just now, despite not even sharing a single intimate moment with her throughout the whole game? WHAT A LOSER. This ties with stabbing yourself in the head with a rock from Diablo.
@CheeseRAwesome Again with that...AC came after the original PoP trilogy. This one came out in 2008 a year after AC. And considering Ubisoft owns both, they made this PoP into a ripoff of AC.

as we all know prince is upset due to the death of his brother he should go back to the island of time and try to make a new fate.The apperance of prince should be of POP T2T and the name of the game should be "RECALL OF TIME"

I couldn't go through with it because it would have meant Elica would have died for nothing. The credits rolled, the game "ended," I thought it was brilliant to let the player choose whether or not to undo what they've been striving towards.
Great game. Almost as good as Shadow of the Colossus. Shame they won't continue the story, but great games tend be done in isolation. No point in ruining a complete experience.

As I have heard, they were trying to establish a new trilogy, but after that they have returned to the original story. (and so the "Forgotten Sands" was made) And I don't think there are going to to be an another Prince of Persia, while there are Assassins Creed to be made. Pity
I always thought that even if Elika gave her life, the Prince would save her and they would live happily ever after. I saw the ending of Epilogue and I said to Elika"good riddance,teaser!!". I have one questions though:"Will epilogue have a continuing part? Will the Prince and Elika ever be together? :^( Hmmmmm...
And lets not talk about the game, a game that`s IMPOSIBLE to die or lose! You even can`t decide the end, at least let us kill the prince throwing himself to some edge, would be more resonable, he ends his life so he doesn`t sucumb to the temptation of setting free ahriman, whatever, i guess some of you just consume what you are put in front of your faces, even tetris has better story than this!

Honestly, at first I was like, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! ALL THAT AND THIS IS THE ENDING?" But then afterwards, I was like, "Well, if it would have ended another way, it would have been predictable and lame." I think this ending made me appreciate the game a lot more. It was a haunting way to end a reactively fun and carefree game. The ending was heavy and left a dark and lingering feeling. I personally loved the whole ending sequence, especially the sounds when trying to get to the trees. Amazing.

I don't about you guys but this was the worse Prince of Persia game ever. It has nothing to do with the series, so why call it Prince Of Persia ? Why not a name like Dark sand or something like tht? Its just the name doesn't suite this kind of gameplay thats all

Was wondering, there's a missing link between TFS and Warrior Within, Ubisoft even stated that 'numerous' things happened in between the Sot and WW. Seeing this hasn't been concluded yet, wouldn't it be cool if they intertwined the two Princes into the same story?
In TTT, there is a scene where the prince exclaims 'Me and my father didn't part on the best of terms, but that is another story', I don't recall playing through his parting, perhaps its linked to something with the other prince?
Blech, I'm tired of you guys complaining. In my point of view, Warrior Within was actually the best game - but it's not the point. The point is, this is a wholly different timeline. It has NOTHING to do with the Sands of Time series. So don't expect it to do have something in common besides the bandit "Prince" being Persian.
Ubisoft said they have no plans to put the epilogue on the PC which is disgusting - PC users have a right to the end of the story! I have complained to them we are being cheated. I don't like the warrior within, keys too hard, Prince very ugly, awful music.

This game was good, but stupid at the same time. You spend the whole game trying to stop the guy and reviving the tree, then in the end you cut it down and do what the king did, so WTF? And this game doesn't have anything to do with the old PoP series either. The guy wasn't a prince, he was a fugitive and a bandit basically. Good game, but meaningless
@RECONxxxMARINE and SoT, T2T or WW have anything common with the old PoP series? and who knows maybe this "bandit" indeed is some Prince (maybe we'll learn that in some sequel), but who cares, it was a good game after all and the ending was imo great, something different, not like aaaalll those fucking happyends we're still getting from every other random game. but this video is not the real ending, real ending is in DLC for consoles called PoP:Epilogue
@palecc22 I'm not saying the game was bad, it was pretty awesome, but the storyline didn't make much sense. The king unleashes the god, and te whole game is spent trying to imprison him. Then the "prince" goes and unleashes him AGAIN so that Elika could live. I found that kinda stupid, and the my whole time wasted. I sold the game before Epilouge came out, so idk the real ending, I'll search some videos. And I doubt a sequel to come since they already came out with both a movie and another game
I just finished it last night. It made me feel really depressed that after all that effort to restore the light the Prince goes and destroys it again. Pointless - and an insult to Elika's sacrifice. I am also cheesed off with console owners getting extras like achievements and epilogues - why should PC players get such a poor deal? I don't want a console - I prefer the keyboard thanks!
@Sherikana Idk why they would disclude the PC from consoles, but I used to use the 360, but I just got the PS3. I think you can get extras for PC if you go on the website or something. I tried spider man on the PC and a few others and didn't like it. I thought the PC was a lil too complicated, but thats just me. Also, I agree with your point of view on this Prince Of Persia game. I loved the old series with Prince and Farah. Another good game was The legend of Dragoon. I wish classics to be back
@palecc22 I do think so, remember when he said his parents died fighting in a war? He never mentioned why. I'd love it if Ubi alternates between this timeline and the SoT timeline.
@zurox407 i don't know about any sequel to this, only DLC called Epilogue. and there is another PoP game: PoP: Forgotten Sands. but in my opinion its just boring shit. ubi is now just milking the series and i dont expect any good pop game from them anymore

Then fucked up on the Island Of Time by killing the Dahaka and not killing the Empress. In this game, he ruined EVERYTHING just so he could keep his "girlfriend" so that the world could be destroyed.
@dannyboi866 Either way it wasn't much of a game. You cut the tree down in the end, and spent the WHOLE GAME just trying to revive it! The whole game made no fucken sense either way! If he had just let her die, and left the tree as it was, It would be one small sacrifice of a life, to save billions. I think she should have stayed dead, and kept everything safe.
@dannyboi866 I suppose there could be quite an interesting sequel for this game. The game-play was quite good, and the effects were amazing. The DLC "Epilogue" was fairly lazy, I think they should make a trilogy for this. We'll see what Ubisoft has in store for us.

All the conversations they had pretty much lead to this ending. I mean there is even one part where the prince is like "Everyone lets you down eventually" and she is like "That's not true, you haven't let me down..." and then he's like "You haven't known me long enough yet" and then he goes and does this shit and shes gets upset. I mean this shit is beautiful.
The game is still good...to bad the unnamed heroes didn't end up being a Prince.
The original one(and i mean the very 1st PoP) end up being a prince, so it's a suitable title. IMO they should make the sequel of this one to clear up the stories. Even tough i kinda hate the fight lol.

Honestly, at first I was like, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! ALL THAT AND THIS IS THE ENDING?" But then afterwards, I was like, "Well, if it would have ended another way, it would have been predictable and lame." I think this ending made me appreciate the game a lot more. It was a haunting way to end a reactively fun and carefree game. The ending was heavy and left a dark and lingering feeling. I personally loved the whole ending sequence, especially the sounds when trying to get to the trees. Amazing.

nope , there are two endings first one and the good one is when the credits starts to come down stop playin the game, thats it, elika dead and u'll be an alone ranger again in the desert, but if u wanna find out what will happen after cutting that trees which has game showed u, then u should go for it like in this video thats it ahriman is free and these two guys dead together with the whole world ...

Was wondering, there's a missing link between TFS and Warrior Within, Ubisoft even stated that 'numerous' things happened in between the Sot and WW. Seeing this hasn't been concluded yet, wouldn't it be cool if they intertwined the two Princes into the same story?
In TTT, there is a scene where the prince exclaims 'Me and my father didn't part on the best of terms, but that is another story', I don't recall playing through his parting, perhaps its linked to something with the other prince?

Blech, I'm tired of you guys complaining. In my point of view, Warrior Within was actually the best game - but it's not the point. The point is, this is a wholly different timeline. It has NOTHING to do with the Sands of Time series. So don't expect it to do have something in common besides the bandit "Prince" being Persian.

Ubisoft said they have no plans to put the epilogue on the PC which is disgusting - PC users have a right to the end of the story! I have complained to them we are being cheated. I don't like the warrior within, keys too hard, Prince very ugly, awful music.

This game was good, but stupid at the same time. You spend the whole game trying to stop the guy and reviving the tree, then in the end you cut it down and do what the king did, so WTF? And this game doesn't have anything to do with the old PoP series either. The guy wasn't a prince, he was a fugitive and a bandit basically. Good game, but meaningless

@palecc22 I'm not saying the game was bad, it was pretty awesome, but the storyline didn't make much sense. The king unleashes the god, and te whole game is spent trying to imprison him. Then the "prince" goes and unleashes him AGAIN so that Elika could live. I found that kinda stupid, and the my whole time wasted. I sold the game before Epilouge came out, so idk the real ending, I'll search some videos. And I doubt a sequel to come since they already came out with both a movie and another game

I just finished it last night. It made me feel really depressed that after all that effort to restore the light the Prince goes and destroys it again. Pointless - and an insult to Elika's sacrifice. I am also cheesed off with console owners getting extras like achievements and epilogues - why should PC players get such a poor deal? I don't want a console - I prefer the keyboard thanks!

@Sherikana Idk why they would disclude the PC from consoles, but I used to use the 360, but I just got the PS3. I think you can get extras for PC if you go on the website or something. I tried spider man on the PC and a few others and didn't like it. I thought the PC was a lil too complicated, but thats just me. Also, I agree with your point of view on this Prince Of Persia game. I loved the old series with Prince and Farah. Another good game was The legend of Dragoon. I wish classics to be back

Then fucked up on the Island Of Time by killing the Dahaka and not killing the Empress. In this game, he ruined EVERYTHING just so he could keep his "girlfriend" so that the world could be destroyed.

@dannyboi866 Either way it wasn't much of a game. You cut the tree down in the end, and spent the WHOLE GAME just trying to revive it! The whole game made no fucken sense either way! If he had just let her die, and left the tree as it was, It would be one small sacrifice of a life, to save billions. I think she should have stayed dead, and kept everything safe.

@dannyboi866 I suppose there could be quite an interesting sequel for this game. The game-play was quite good, and the effects were amazing. The DLC "Epilogue" was fairly lazy, I think they should make a trilogy for this. We'll see what Ubisoft has in store for us.

All the conversations they had pretty much lead to this ending. I mean there is even one part where the prince is like "Everyone lets you down eventually" and she is like "That's not true, you haven't let me down..." and then he's like "You haven't known me long enough yet" and then he goes and does this shit and shes gets upset. I mean this shit is beautiful.

The game is still good...to bad the unnamed heroes didn't end up being a Prince.
The original one(and i mean the very 1st PoP) end up being a prince, so it's a suitable title. IMO they should make the sequel of this one to clear up the stories. Even tough i kinda hate the fight lol.

in Pop:sands of time they put more effort inn the traps and the dagger of time.

@Deffpoised Well just imagine they make PES 2011 kinda different than other PES games and the difference is that goals are 10 feets wider.So tell me,would that be a good change? Some things just aren't supposed to change and prince of persia was one of those things. POP games are the best games I've ever played although they were made in 2001,2004 and 2005 and didn't have some breath taking graphics or some hi-tech bullshit. Just do everyone a favor and go away!!!
