  • Really knowing about Aarp, they used be good but in they have stop , just cheap talk , know its time be heard everyone Senior Citizen , put us backburn, violations of ours right Medicare its gotten to expense cannot afford to a doctor for ours health don't care anymore forgot how to be UNITED STATE OF AMERICAN.

  • HEY OLD FUCKS GIVE ME A CAL AT 215-990-7388 YOU FUCKING SCUMBAGS FUCK YOU AND YOUR SSI AND MEDICARE DIE !

  • aarp is just a shill for insurance companies and the obamacare debacle.

  • Burn in hell, you selfish AARP pigs. Those benefits you claim are yours are coming out of my pocket. For decades, you kept voting for politicians who kept your tax rates low at the expense for future generations. You paid into a ponzi scheme and screwed your grandchildren. My generation is never going to see the same fat benefits these old fucks are getting.

  • I am Generation Jones (54-65) born a late Boomer (61), identify with Gen X.

These Boomers simply don't care about anyone else.

They were lied to, as we all were lied to, but they 'believe' that they have 'an account' and that it is 'their money'. It isn't. It's not there, it's gone, it was spent 2 weeks after they with-held it.

They are going to destroy the USA, impoverish their children and grand-children because they are selfish, entitled, spoiled and socially destructive.

  • @Knepperify1 i know im making itmy personal mission to kill as many of these idiots as possible

  • I realize this spokesman is probably an actor, but what an asshole. Talk about selfish.

Lots of kids in my hometown are going without decent shoes, decent food, school supplies, and old, tattered clothing. Yet we are all paying for these sad fucks, who take out 4x in benefits versus their contributution, on average...

  • This commercial impressed me the first time I saw it. It's easy for us teens and 20-somethings to poke fun at the old people, but the fact is that these 50 million geezers make up the majority of the voting population. This commercial silenced every voice on Capitol Hill calling for cuts to elderly benefits.

The punchline? We young adults have the lowest voter turnout. Which is why Congress doesn't care about us. And why WE will be the ones getting screwed. Say bye to your student loan.

  • Jokes on you seniors. You're depending on this generation to pay for your retirement because you allowed Congress to spend the money you put into the system. Those Occupy Wall Streeters are sure a responsible and reliable crowd. Smart move to place your trust in them.

  • And this "lovely" younger generation is in charge of our futures..God help us! I agree with Turonks. The wealthy and politicians need to be exempt from drawing SS and Medicare! Medicare will be their primary insurance and the "free" lifetime healthcare will be secondary! The system wasn't established to supplement the wealthy!

  • It only takes 1 voter to see that this is immoral. They voted for the politicians who squandered the money that was supposed to be held in trust for them. Now they want their grandchildren to pay the price of their retirement through a forced Ponzi Scheme. The younger generation never had a chance to vote for or against SS or Medicare or how the money was spent because they weren't born yet. Now they want to tax us to pay for their choices. That is taxation without representation.

  • Lose the cap, and Social Security will be fine.

  • Attention seniors, since SS has notified me of the reduced benefits that I may be receiving (but am not legally entitled to) I've decided to get a jump on reducing my future burden on society by saving privately for retirement now. So if you could help me out I'm going to start a bumper sticker business where profits after taxes & my contribution to your slushfund will go to *my* retirement IRA -- and here is going to be just one of my slogans:

"F***K the grandkids -- it's all about me NOW"

  • "Earned" benefits? Not really. Today's seniors paid in a small amount of money but they take out a massive amount. Not their fault, but don't obstruct reforming it. And don't pretend you've "earned" the massive amount of return you got on a small investment. The first ones who divest from a Ponzi scheme always get a great deal, it's those like me who will get nothing for our huge contributions by the time we retire.

  • Wish this was more moderate. I believe some with large incomes should have their SS and Medicare cut. Adjustments are right.

  • I still say Logan's Run had a pretty good idea.

  • Shorter AARP: you fuck with us, we will END YOU.

    They're the geezer mafia.

  • learn how to spell, then you might get some intelligence...obviously a moronic home schooled creationist fuck--are you 14 yet? lol lol

  • Social security and medicare are bankrupting this country.

  • What is so wrong with seniors standing up to save what they have worked for all their lives. The promise given that all that FICA they have taken out of all their checks for 20 to 30 years will be given back to them when they are older, unable to work and they deserve and depend on this money. This money is also the last thing that Wall St does not have it's hands into. That is why they are out to cut it.

  • @justdeann731

They're selling out our futures for their present.

I will have worked by whole life to pay for these benefits, and by most analyses, neither program will exist by the time I retire.

I'd rather my money NOT be used to finance grandpa's boner pills, thank you much.

  • Great post

  • Those old crows need to be happy they even still have Medicare and SSI benefits....the real people that should be up in arms are the 20 to 40 year olds, they are the ones that won't even have SSI benefits or Medicare when they reach retirement age :(

  • @tom11zz884 they paid in it, was designed to give those who payed in a payment but the govenement took the money and handed it to illegals and people who didnt pay in . those that are twenty two havent paid in so why are they gripeing i doubt it would disappear there many paying in, if idiots like you did something to stop the rip off, things in future would be better.

  • @tom11zz884 I think the old people in this video all need to be shot to death there all scum fuck the old people , fuck give me an m60 ill kill them all myself

  • @QuietusEpicus kill urself you fucking trailor trash piece of shit

  • @Alanflatt1 LOL i dont live in atrailor retard dont speak out ignorrance now go die you retard

  • @tom11zz884 yeah theses scumbags should be greatful i dont starting gutting them like pigs

  • Cut waste, not medicare and social security? SS and medicare ARE waste. All these baby boomers hitting age 65 and living 20 or 30 more years... huge expenditures. More than our military spending, for f*ck's sake.

  • @monst3rul3s no there not a waste, its the ones getting ss and medicare who didnt pay in o it. five billion of medical bills unpaid by illegals is draining usa.

  • @tomanyasses Five billion is nothing. SS spending alone dwarves that number. I think over 600 billion was spent in 2008.

  • @monst3rul3s im talking about illegal waste, they take in 800 billion in money from payers , your logic is warped. those that payed in should be collecting, over one hundred billion is wasted on those who didnt pay in . you say ss and medicare are waste you mean there is a waste by those making false claims and those who didnt pay in . foreigners are running up billion in false claims. if you took all the false claims and added interest in last twnety years it would equal one trillion dollars.

  • @tomanyasses Okay. A lot of money is being wasted in general. I will read into what you are talking about more. The character limit is set at 500 because comments are generally concise and related to the video. Private messaging is for long comments.

  • @monst3rul3s you still cant make it under five hundred words on any point or video . to explain things good it usually takes more than five hundred words.

  • @monst3rul3s and who can explain much in under five hundred words who set it at five hundred, there a dumb ass

  • Is this the same generation who raised me to be accountable for my choices? The same people who urged me to get informed and vote. Now this same generation threatens the future of their grand children and beyond because they voted for representatives who openly raided their benefit funds. Will you disregard your culpability and threaten the well being of future Americans due to your consistent apathy at the poles and your want to believe in false promises of politicians? Shame on you.

  • @HCS4Lobo11 Amazing.. isn't it? Now they are whining like cry-babies, because many of them were too apathetic to vote, and didn't do research to see this coming.

  • America’s people, government and businesses have lost sight of the true importance of healthcare. It doesn’t matter if you're old, young, sick or poor; when you need a life-saving surgery, the main concern is preserving life. If the poor can’t afford HC, if the elderly need it, then as a society, let's get in the business of saving lives instead of draining the bank accounts and assets of sick Americans. If we consider what’s truly important we’ll realize we need health care reform.

  • @dewee77 you do know the illegals run up billions of unpaid health sevice and two billion was paid to illegals who made claims to our tax filed, they never paid any taxes but got a refund of two billion.

  • @tomanyasses That's very true, people find loopholes in our system. But you also just backed up the point I'm trying to highlight. We've made health services a money grubbing business. How moral is it to turn someone away from an emergency room because they might not be a citizen? No, illegal immigrants should not be able to ride on the backs of tax paying Americans for long, but we don't exactly make citizenship here easy.

  • @dewee77 two million become citizens a year legally, the illegals need to follow the laws , there is hundreds of millions of people would love to come here legal or illegal from china and from india ,millions want to come from other counrys to . all other countrys wont let you in, usa lets more in than any other country, you need to read and learn .

  • @dewee77 dont forget our courts are a money grubbing bussiness, there into innocent until thought guilty not innocent until proven guilty.

  • Dang!!!

  • SS is the ultimate Ponzi scheme. Money invested today is paid out to earlier investors. The whole thing needs to be reworked, retirement age need to go up to 75, benefits need to be means tested and contributors need to be allowed to put 50% into private plans.

  • im a good person

  • So seniors, are you going to vote for Obama this time? I think you are because you fear that the republicans will cut your social security and medicare. The truth is that the republicans actually want to save social security and medicare so the next generation can have it. The democrats are just scaring you so you can vote for them. Don't you want your kids to have the same benefits you have when they retire? If Obama gets a second term, SS and M will not exist 20 years from now.

  • ah, the Greediest generation.

  • An easy counter to this would be to round up these old folks and have them look into their grandchildrens eyes and explain to their grandchildren why this country will be bankrupt before they even come close to the age of retirement.

  • Some South American Nations have fixed their defunct SS system by giving people the option of privatizing their accounts . It has worked well and because the money is invested in their market, it has helped their economy ! SS needs to be phased out, at the very least, it should be put into the hands of the people it is stolen from...

  • watch?v=tgqZ2hZO2o4 WAKE UP, OLD PEOPLE! YOU'RE BEING DECEIVED!

  • No matter how much the corporate elite obliterate American jobs, our savings & retirement accounts, and earned entitlements, the morons who watch FOX and support Wall Street whores like Limbuagh, will still DEFEND the very scum-of-the-earth on Wall Street who have decimated our country & economy with their greed and unveiled "Fuck-You-America" agenda!

It's amazing how self-destructive and shockingly unaware the people who support the foreign-owned FOX network & bash Occupy Wall Street are!

  • @HNK222 you can thanks the idiots who let in the illegals in and stay and hired them and let indians have gambling not paying taxes. amazing its simple math .

  • Thinly veiled threats from a generation that intends to grab every last nickel from their own grandchildren before they finally, blessedly expire.

  • AARP can eat a bowl of dicks, and choke on every damn one of them. I can't stand their obnoxious commercials.

  • Who in the hell is talking about cutting Social Security? AARP better get on board of saving it. When a solution was offered in 1995 the AARP Democrat officers took the "elderly will have to eat dog food" mantra of Dems. AARP better talk about Cap, Cut and Balance because without that there will be nothing to fund Social Security unless they think China will do it. 63 and mad as hell - get balance AARP

  • @toughterrier Rick Perry calls Social Security a "ponzi scheme" and the GOP has stated repeatedly (based solely on their agenda) that "Social Security will not be around in 20 years".

I'm not sure how people can overlook the GOP's open proclamations to end Social Security (as well as every other earned entitlement Americans pay into) but it's staggering how people can listen to the GOP openly boast of ending Social Security and rightwingers still say, ""Who is talking about Social Security?"

  • @HNK222 Give just 1 example, other than Ron Paul, with date/name. There is no GOP saying that. Many have called SoSec a "ponzi scheme" based on decrease of # of people contributing, the # of people on it increasing & the future cost associated with continued entitlement under current structure. There is NO Soc Sec trust fund - starting with Lyndon Johnson it's been replaced with IOUs that can't be paid with the current ObombA debt growth. It won't be around because of Dem irresponsibility.

  • aarp can go to hell for supporting obammycare

  • Face it Gen-Xers and Gen-Y, the baby boomers are going to make sure they are taken care of no matter what it means to us or our children.

    Thanks a lot guys....

They will get their retirement and our Children will grow up with terms like "Quantitative Easing" and "Austarity Measures".

Might help if our generation got off their asses and voted too...

Sorry, a bit pesimistic these days.

  • Yes and its Democrtas that are removing 500 billion for SS to pay for Obama Care! Remove the Dems from Office!

  • republicansrule My State is totally infested with demorats. Result = we are borrowing Obama monies and BROKE! They have taken a Republican-left surplus and over spent for: public art and padded pensions and out right scam artist idiocy (I know someone who is in a government job that got "water lilies" removed from the lake they live on to the tune of a $20,000 grant they scammed up) And then told me that they all get a HUGE Raise the last year as it boasts the calculation of their "PEN$ION"...

  • Ron Paul has said the people like SS so he would keep it. That having been said, social security, is healthy. Google the number of workers per retiree. It hasn't changed since the 50s but from 6 to 5 workers. Don't believe the scare tactics. SSA should stop loaning excess cash to FED because FED GIFTS it to the top families in the US via loop holes and no bid contracts. Follow the money. IKE said beware Military Industrial Complex. DONT LET CORPS STEAL ONE *MORE* DIME. Protect our elders!

  • There's no money to pay for Medicare and Social Security. How ignorant can people be?

  • Read this article on who funds the 2012 pres. election. Ron Paul Top 3 supporters (Active Duty: Army, Air Force, Navy)

  • if you hadn't let the government take your money in the first place, you wouldn't need to worry about whether or not they would give it back to you. now that's what i call a "benefit" !!

  • @ MainePrepper- All of your arguments are simply bizarre. And you assume so much.... and use logic at a minimum. Flat Tax works. Keep the liberals out of office and the taxes will not go up.... and I served, and No, I do not have massive amounts of money.... I'm lower middle class.... and I personally CHOOSE never to take from the Federal Gov. State, Local, SS, Med, Food Stamps, Unemployment, NOTHING.

  • @wernervoss48 I'm sorry, those are called facts and logical conclusions are drawn from them. Good for you for personally choosing not to use those few government services. I don't believe you on the SS part and I'm pretty sure that if you got into a tight spot we'd see you drawing unemployment and maybe even food stamps. Look, if you want to cut your nose off to prove your face doesn't need it, that's your choice but don't expect the rest to play your crazy little reindeer games.

  • take a look at the us debt clock org. We have no more credit, we've been long out of money.... and you CANNOT spend your way out of debt.

  • @wernervoss48 What's amazing here are how many of you are being stampeded into believing that we are broke; don't you understand that this is exactly how the politicians and the rich people that own them operate? They get you into a panic and then you will seize wildly at any solution that also conveniently skewers up your political opponents, enemies or makes a villain of someone else. Sheeple indeed.

  • @ MAINEPREPPER - Defense/Wars - 700 Billion, SocSec Debt - 721 Billion, Medi/Medi - 821 Billion, Income Sec - 410 Billion. Total Socialistic Spending - 1.953 Trillion . I ordered none of this socialistic soup. I paid someone elses' bill, but I ordered nothing, and never will. Roads are the responsibility of my LOCAL government, and those roads are paid for.

  • @ MAINEPREPPER - hmmm... I servered in the Marine Corps for 10 years. I protected others as well as myself. The military spending is NOT what is financially collapsing the U.S.! Not even close!! SS and Med. are. Flawed thought. With a flat tax, there is no longer a tax 'code' to bury or lobby to receive deductions. You miss the entire idea. Twice the USSC upheld that the 16th Amnd. did NOT create a new tax. (Income Tax). You do not have to pay it. It is a voluntary tax.

  • @wernervoss48 Flawed thought on your part to even think flat tax will work. It's the camels nose in the tent. It will start out low and the rich will hide their assetts, then we will realize there isn't enough money so the rich will have us eliminate all social programs, then it won't be enough still and OUR rate will go up and up. Oh, are you one of those tax protesters? That explains the cafeteria approach to gov. "I served 10 years in the Corps so I'm not liable for THOSE taxes LOL

  • wernervoss48 The Military Spending should continue to grow and ramp up newer and better equipment.(WHOORAAY) Sadly the dims and libs thinking "talking" an evil terrorist onto repenting "works". And then we have the Seniors demands to BE PAID FROM SOMEONE ELSE'$ WALLET EACH MONTH = (SS $CAM) The tax system can be reformed in so many ways. Leaving a few deductions to encourage home ownership. Most people in Social Security System: used up all they paid in? .... in 4 -5 Years of collection.

  • @ MAINEPREPPER - There is no money for SS & Med. The money has been spent, it will not remain solvent unless it is changed. Think of it as a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. If it is NOT changed, it will collapse and NOBODY will have SS & Med. Class warfare will not fix this problem, equal responsibility for ones own health and retirement can.

  • @wernervoss48 This makes as much sense as a person who is 100 pounds overweight deciding the way to lose weight is to stop eating entirely. What I find not so amusing is how those who have money are quick to sacrifice the poorest who desperately need the SS they paid into all their lives. We are seeing the same thing right now in the military; today McCain joined the chorus of backstabbers who want to balance the mil budget by cutting pay and retirement of the troops.

  • @ MAINEPREPPER - I recognize your attempt. But it is a fail. I didn't go to the restaurant, I ordered nothing.

So in YOUR analogy, as flawed as it is, you are saying the Wealthy people must pay more because they ate more? When applied, your attempt falls apart.

If the fed has little money (because over 45% of the U.S. population (you know the people ordering) do not pay the check, so you single out another person to pay their bill?

Only a flat tax is fair. No $ No Spend.

  • @wernervoss48 Yes you did. You lived in this country. The military defended you; you drove on the roads and bridges, the police kept the criminals at bay, the fire department put out fires before they burned down the entire city, etc... Time to pay up.

The wealthy have businesses and interests that represent trillions of dollars in assetts and holdings; these receive more benefit more from the services of government than the average citizen and thus they should indeed pay more, absolutely

  • @wernervoss48 Hmm, you say flat tax - that is built on the flawed assumption that the wealthy benefit no more than the average taxpayers. That assumes that the wealthy do not have batteries of clever lawyers to help them hide their earnings, to hire lobbyists to manipulate the system to ensure they pay even less and we suddenly get strapped with more. In the end, the only services the government will engage in will be those the wealthy want and the rest of us will pay for them.

  • @wernervoss48 Or how about NO income tax... ? Flat tax is GREAT for the wealthy as well...

  • Seniors, I have nothing but the utmost respect for you all. You're generation is what made America great. We need you to get Ron Paul elected. He will NOT take away the benefits you EARNED. It is a contract we have with you. I am 27 yrs old and a US Marine. I will gladly pay into SS for the rest of my life if it means my children, your grandchildren will have an option to live free from this broken system. In your heart you know something is wrong here. Here is your chance to change it. Paul2012

  • Ron Paul's plan would not touch medicare, medicaid or social security. It would in fact increase the amount of money in it that every politician has voted to borrow except Ron Paul. Paul's plan would also take care of inflation which increases the amount seniors need to take out to cover the cost of living. Finally, all people 25 and younger can choose to opt out of social security and invest in their own retirements. Vote Ron Paul 2012!!

  • @lifeisgoog62 What does watching someones kids have to do with medicare and Social Security?

  • not for nothing,I never hear any politicians talk about no raises for themselves, trips with tax payer dollar. any person that runs for office & holds or doesn't hold office is title to life time medical.what is the government willing to give up for our seniors? We paid in our taxes.I'm a senior and still work full time & pay less now for health insurance than what it's going to cost me for Medicare & all other parts I need,& still pay into taxes. The rich need to pay their fair share in taxes.

  • Get the Govern Mentalists out of the way and American citizens IN - Free the un- free govern Mental controlled market -

  • Privatize Socialist Security, and put the people who don't want to live without big government behind bars for the rest of their miserable lives!

  • You old bastards aren’t entitled to everything, you know.

  • @ProjectMK4 not for nothing,us old bastards are entitle to everything we are promised and worked for. As for some of these old bastards are raising their grandchildren so parents can work to provide for their family. In China the elder is carried by the younger generation if they can't walk (it's called respect for the elder) in this country people like you think we should go off somewhere & die! your turn is coming!

  • @lifeisgoog62 Not for nothing, but maybe instead of bitching at people that are paying your medicare and Social Security. you should be bitching at your kids for not taking care of you like the Chinese do. Or better yet move to China and let them take care of you so I dont have to. You see I am saving my money and doing things right so that I do not need free hand outs when I am older. Or I'll just move in with my children.

  • @tserious27 LOL, you must be a "young adult" or just woefully ignorant- or tremendously selfish to have such an attitude. What you think the elderly did not work hard- and save money combined with pensions and medicaid and ssi? They most certainly did and they could be very independent if the government who was trusted to not only hold onto their money for them- but protect the value of it. Inflation robbed them of the value of their savings- it taxed them without ever changing the sum.

  • @EgadsNo

Im neither. I just like to ruffle some feathers. I do think that you are entitled to social security. That is what was promised to you when you first started working. And I have been working full time since I was 16 because so I am no couch potato. Just like playing devils advocate every once in a while. I do think that the U.S. society should change the way they think about the elderly and children should take better care of them. I'd have my parents live with me anyday to save money

  • Ron Paul is the only one that will with a plan that would insure you lose no benefits. Under anyone else the checks will stop coming or be worthless. Obama has inflated so much now that your buying power is already next to nothing. Stop the destruction of the dollar. Ron Paul 2012

  • @lynx1208 PLS READ - Inflation is up ~2.3% - lowest in years. You are crushed by SPECULATORS not Obama. Speculation in homes, oil, gold, inet, FOOD causes bubbles that extract value. Food is up 15-30% this year b/c of +2000% in speculation. Ron/Rand Paul follow Ayn Rand. She was wrong. Her disciple Greenspan agrees. Atheist Ayn Rand invented NeoCons, modern capitalism and GOOD GREED. Greed is root of Evil. Google "ayn rand psychopath". Read her diary. Study, learn. I like RP but he was misled.

  • AARP run by socialists for lemmings

  • @ MAINEPREPPER - Wow, do you have things twisted.... OK, let's simplify the issues. Please explain to me How 'allowing' a person to keep their money, creates a debt to another? (this is the heart of your 'tax breaks' argument)

So please.... how does allowing one person to keep their money create a debt to another?

Can't wait for this answer.... truly.

  • @wernervoss48 You really don't understand this? Okay, let me explain; it's very simple. If you go to a restaurant and order a meal, when you are done eating, you are expected to pay for it. Until you pay for the meal, you have a debt. It is the same concept here on taxes.

  • you get to spend the rest of your life dependent on your allowance from government. how wonderful for you!!

  • AARP is one of the biggest lobbyists and con artists in Washington. They dupe the public into believing they are out to protect seniors, but that is the furthest thing from the truth. They are out to protect the profits they earn from the insurance plans they sell to seniors. Membership fees are only a tiny fraction of their earnings compared to the huge profits AARP earns on their insurance plans. The worse SS does the more insurance plans AARP will sell & the bigger their profits will be.

  • snazzy14u = the elderly have become a flock of stunned sheeple. Lied to by AARP and the democrats who "promise" them that not matter what? Their SS checks will keep coming. Even if their own grandchildren go into 60 year tax slavery to keep those payments ~ flowing. Sadly this AARP insurance con has become a far left liars club. And will lie, con and deceive the Seniors to keep them paying into AARP. Sad ~

  • @memama2 I know seniors who left AARP because of AARP's suport of liberal politions. Not all Seniors put their own benifits before princeples.

  • @memama2 I think you are the sheeple here. You have been lied to by the Republicans and now by the Democrats on behalf of the rich who are making huge campaign contributions to them both. They are trying to paint the picture that SS is broke and needs to be eliminated. This will allow the rich to keep the imbalanced Reagan/Bush/Obama tax cuts to the rich and their corporate welfare, give them an immediate 6.25% bonus on their payrolls and eliminate something they don't personally need.

  • kill the elderly kill them all theyre all worthless scum!

  • @Factednateopinions, watch it. You'll be them someday. Seniors used to be regarded with respect, yet in this modern day you suggest we, to euphemize your rather violent suggestion, discard them? Just consider the respect that they, and ultimately YOU, deserve as life nears its end.

  • @dewee77 i was kidding

  • @Factednateopinions I'm really glad to hear it!

  • It is presumptuous to claim that aarp is in control of all 50 million votes. The elderly are not your sheep. I find this ad very offensive.

  • @enigmanuma Maybe so but mess with Social Security and I'm pretty certain all the elderly, except the wealthy ones of course, will vote against the fool that attempts it. People vote their economic interests first despite the rhetoric The only hope the Rich have for this obvious attempt to rob the elderly and poor is if they can fool them into believing their propaganda. This is why you will hear the same phrases over and over "ponzi scheme, broke, unsustainable, causing the national debt"

  • @MAINEPREPPER Social Security is a ponzi scheme and 15 Trillion in debt means we are broke !

  • @MrSpencerport It's a ponzi scheme only if we refuse to put the money back into it. It's only a ponzi scheme if we believe the lie that SS has to be eliminated but tax cuts for the rich and corporate welfare have to be saved at all costs.

  • VOTE FOR RON PAUL

DONATE TO RON PAULS SITE THEY HAVE DONATION CAMPAIGN RUNNING RIGHT NOW TO SHOW THE MEDIA THEY CANT MESS WITH US

  • The Left (Dem/Lib/Progressive/Socialists) know that any plan to Rob Peter to Pay Paul, will ALWAYS have the Support of Paul. This is what socialistic policies create; Welfare, Social Security, Government Employment Unions.... all of these groups exist by the Government Nipple, which exists on the labors of the Private Citizens. (The 'Government' has no money... the PEOPLE do) A plan to Rob the Private Citizens to pay Government Worker will always have the support of the Government Worker.

  • @wernervoss48 Yes that's right, those darned government employees and those darned taxes too. Think of the utopia we would have if we had no government; wouldn't that be just great!!!! No streets, no roads, no infrastructure, no police, fire, military, no national defense, no rules or regulations, do as we please, endless wealth trickling down from the palaces of the wealthy, a veritable garden of eden. The private sector will fix it all, everybody will co-operate and it will be paradise.

  • MAINEPREPPER If The American people had the masses of padded pensions paid to "government employees". And we had a scrooge like bookkeeper standing between DEMOCRATS & the States wallet these last 50+ years? We would have a FANTASTIC road system & charter schools & MORE police & military. The bad news is that democrats & their debt & welfare & wacko public art & far left eco-con pals= $ucked OUR MONEY into their bloated pensions and ponzi scams. U of course like that kinda dim douche plundering

  • @memama2 You have it partially right. The Republican party has successfully used anecdotes such as "welfare queens" to paint the picture that the national debt has been created by social programs and social security (which is funded separately and is definitely not the cause). They have succeeded in deflecting you away from the obvious problem which was that they are giving the rich huge tax cuts which reduced tax revenue. The rich are delighted to make the poor balance the budget.

  • MAINEPREPPER Let's see? My Canadian auntie wen tot OH!CRAP! = Canada ER with death migraine. She got a bed only until she was found in a coma. Any attempt at care? Began to late. Her vibrant traveling working life over. You see Obamacare will be modeled after CanadaCrapCare. They use a "calendar" to decide treatment. IN AMERICA? = WE USE A SECOND HAND ON A WATCH! ..Obama wants to dictate & destroy USA World Class medical so he can become the "kill old people" fairy. You of course support that~

  • @memama2 Sorry about your aunt but I don't support it, not an obama supporter. I am advocating to defend SS. You guys seem to major in hysteria; by the way, the sky isn't falling, those are pine cones, it's fall.

  • MAINEPREPPER = SS is now used by todays Seniors as a life line it was never designed to BE! 1 of my aunts sold off 60 acres and a big house and outbuildings.(She inherited the whole thing) Bought new RV's and Trucks and traveled and gambled her way thru 30+ years. Instead of sub-dividing that land and saving a dime. Then she carped about her poverty. And her last medical and housing cost my STATE MILLLION$! If she had to live off Her "pay in" to Social Security? She would have $AVED!!! seeeesh

  • @memama2 Well, there you have it, this just proves everyone on SS is some reckless individual who sold off hundreds of thousands of dollars in real assetts to live like hippies. You are right, we absolutely need to go into a complete panic, declare the entire government insolvent and focus on the most important things which are to keep the tax cuts for the wealthy, ensure corporate welfare is increased and anything else that benefits the truly responsible people. Thank you for using anecdotes!

  • MAINEPREPPER = happily "the rich" still create soap - deodorant - and toilet paper and truck it to clean yer sorry arse ....lol

  • @memama2 Ummm, okay, HUH? Not sure what this was supposed to mean though.

  • Hey all you SS bashers, here's a question. How many SS recipients do we need to rob of their benefits to pay the corporate welfare to General Electric? Hint - they got $4 BILLION. Don't worry, I know some of you are weeping for GE, in fear their CEOs might not have lobster to go with their champagne. Personally I predict GE will do fine because they have paid ZERO into taxes since 2006 but posted profits of $26 BILLION. Glad our priorities are straight here, DAMN those SS parasites, huh?

  • @MAINEPREPPER - Continued... If you read the Social Security Act, you will notice that it is designed to be funded by the next generation. When it was created, there was no funds for the people who were at or near the age of retirement, it was the working generation that funded the first retirees. The earnings I've paid all my working life were used to support my parents generation.... there is no money for mine. Period. But I will never retire, and I've always known it.

  • @wernervoss48 Be that as it may, in 1983 there was a 2.5 Trillion dollar surplus which was deliberately collected to fund SS into 2037. That surplus was collected from the very people who were to receive it. That surplus was borrowed out to create a false surplus that was used to justify the Reagan tax cuts that went mostly to the rich which he said would "trickle down" to the rest of us. That money when paid back by those same rich will make everything solid again.

  • @MAINEPREPPER - It is broke. The politicians RAIDED (no 'borrowed') the fund, and there is NO MONEY to pay it back with. You seem to believe the people who took the money, still have it... they do not. It was stolen from the fund. It cannot be repaid unless the money is borrowed, at an interest rate, adding to the national debt.

All plans regarding SS and Med. have the same stipulations, nobody age 50 will be effected.

  • @wernervoss48 Actually there is money to pay it back. It's like loaning money to a friend who says "I can't pay you back dude" but yet he has money to buy a new stereo or in this case, give huge tax breaks to the rich and give them corporate welfare. We borrowed that money in the first place to create a false surplus in 1983 which "justified" the Reagan tax cuts that went mostly to the rich (trickle down?) Bush and now Obama are extending them because the rich bribed them handsomely

  • Dear right wing brats;

keep posting your hateful comments that blame the victims and declare your gleeful intentions to see Seniors kicked off SS because they didn't earn their benefits, that they wrecked the economy and have been nothing but parasites that just need to hurry up and die so you can enjoy this great nation that apparently just materialized out of nowhere because you deserved it. Keep it up, the Democratic party no doubt appreciates it very much. Your arrogance is useful to them

  • You will grow old too some day........

  • The AARP is knowingly lying about the entire situation. The AARP KNOW that no person over the age of 50 (my age by the way) will be cut, moved, denied, dis-allowed or any other type of negative regarding Social Security and Medicare. The AARP is using a false premiss in an attempt to scare people. The AARP supported NobamaCare, and turned against their charge, and did it for monetary gain.... the #1 goal of the AARP is to sell insurance.

I will NEVER join the AARP. Period.

  • @wernervoss48 How do they know this? I'm curious because out of the mouths of the Tea Partiers, the politicians who are licking their boots and many Republican and Democrats we hear the false zombie chant "it's broke, can't be fixed, must be privatized, give money to Wall Street". Sounds to me like they are planning on cutting it. It's not broke by the way, the politicians don't want to pay back the trillions they borrowed from it; rather keep giving it to the rich in exchange for bribes

  • it is the entitlement mentality that brings nations down. lets not give socialism one more chance to fail in America!

  • @bradq When I go to the grocery store and pay for my groceries, I am entitled to take them home and eat them. When I work at a job for a wage, I am entitled to that wage on payday. When I enter into a contract with someone and fulfill my part, I am entitled to be compensated according to the contract. When I paid into SS all my life, I became entitled to receive my benefits at age 65. Most people are getting sick of this endless attempt to liken SS recipients to welfare cheats and beggars.

  • @MAINEPREPPER i would certainly not condemn you for your part. it should have been corrected long ago. the money is not there. there is no money. where will it come from??? just print more? print more print more? the more they print the higher prices go. look at nazi germany. they used the money to light fires in their homes because it had no value. look at soviet russia. $100 for a loaf of bread. HJR 192 took away our gold and silver. welfare took away our souls. nothing is free. universal fact

  • @MAINEPREPPER I agree with you. Many people are in the same boat. we were duped. there is no money in America. There has not been since June 5, 1933. All we have is corporate script. Fiat money backed by nothing. Thats how we got to where we are today. The system was designed to fail. Slowly the wealth has been sucked out of our nation. We traded out gold for paper of no value. The dollar has lost 98% of t's value in 98 years. see "HJR 192, study a little and you will see why the system is dead.

  • @bradq thats why they took out the silver metal out of our coins making them worthless. you can thank the new generation of idiots for that.

  • @tomanyasses They took the gold out in 1933. the silver out in 1964. and the copper out in 1981. they are going to dismantle thins nation. check out "UN AGENDA 21". Sell what you can. Learn to barter. Get to know People in your community. Learn to work with your hands. Don't give up. Don;t rely on government. It is going to get hard soon and could be for a while. Could make the great depression look like a cake walk. Get to know God and get involved with your community. Help People. Be prepared.

  • @bradq no its going to get better usa is strong its the world that will go down first.

  • @tomanyasses I hope your right. But what right does America have to survive if we allow other nations to fall? We are in this situation because of our desire for personal gain above all else. We have turned our backs on the world for cheap oil and electronic gadgetry. We won't allow anyone or anything to get in the way of our worshiping of shiny metal objects. Every man, woman and child in the world deserves to prosper and enjoy life. The banks are causing us to hate each other and the world.

  • @bradq the world not dieing, the problem with other countrys is over population and shrinking habitate there pouring into usa to turn it into a over populated country just like the shit hole they left.

  • Time to put on your BIG BOY pull-ups and rip that band-aid off now if you give a rats ass about your children and grandchildren. I've been paying into SS for 25 years and don't expect to get anything back. It's your own fault if you didn't save a REAL retirement because SS was never meant to be lived off of. Perhaps your children and grandchildren could help take care of you. I would be more than happy to take care of my mother.

  • @MrSavetherepublic Here we go again, blaming the victims. Where do you come up with this drivel that it wasn't intended to be lived off of? Just because you may not need the money doesn't mean the rest of us don't. Where do you get this idea that you won't get anything back? We're not standing on the side of the road with a tin can begging for handouts, we're insisting that the program be paid back ALL the IOUs and kept funded so it will remain solvent.

  • Good job to all you heartless right wingers. You are officially driving 50 million voters into the Democratic camp.

Actually you can nearly double that number because those who have paid into SS all their lives will be joining them.

Add to that number the usual democrat voters and you have the perfect storm. We're not talking about driving people away with ideological statements, you are threatening their very survival; your posts here tell us exactly what your intentions are.

  • Ron Paul has the right plan and seniors will be taken care of too this is an easy choice. if the government goes bankrupt there really wont be anything so i say we act now!

  • I don't want SS ! I want the government to leave me alone and let me keep the money i make. i will pay for my own retirement and my own state rendered roads and services the federal government is a big tic on the backs of the states it should shrink by 80%

  • watch?v=tgqZ2hZO2o4 Wake up, foos!

  • @thefish103 I used the word naive for the lack of a better word. It is not my intent to offend nor get into a bickering back and forth convo. Frankly I am not against the ss program and do not have anything disparaging to say about it! It is earned credits not points is what I was referring to go to the wesbiste ssa.gov/pubs/10072.html
