Did anyone else notice that GFX card are not water cooled? AND they're not spaced for air flow?? If your using the fans on the card to cool it, you need to have atleast one space for air flow, those cards wont flow air right, and it will over heat.

Xeon processors don't need to be OCed... because they're specially for servers.. not gaming... my FX4100 (quad-core) + gts450 (single).. run crysis better than 50fps....

The 3 screens as one setup, especially with the 3D, would make use of all the cards. 3 and 4 cards are shown to make a dramatic difference at 2600x1600 and above. 3 screens at 1920x1080 in 3D would stress all those cards.

How many people do you know that are still rocking a 2900 Pro? And that's from 2007.
2007 CPU was still the 775 Socket from Intel, so the Q6600 was available. Yeah, this system is going to rock today's games and it's only 5 years old! Plus you're still rocking 3 gigs of DDR2 1033 ram.
I see no market for dual cpu computers anytime soon, and the results of this test are proof of that. It sucked at gaming because the CPUs were a bottle neck. They aren't meant to process video on that level.
There is nothing smart about building a system like this. They would have been better off buying a single 980x. Would have got much better results.

5760 x 2160 with Ultra settings using 24x edge detect AA and 16x AF. They're using 24GB of RAM and no a 980x with 12GB of RAM wouldn't be better at all, that's just downgrading.
Trying to keep 120FPS (using 120hz monitors) minimum in BF3 with those settings in multi-player would require a super high end setup like this.

I think the problem most people have with this build is they chose those Xeon CPU which for servers is amazing but has no place in a gaming rig even though in theory they should preform roughly the same as the i7 plus they keep saying "sly"

I think the problem most people have with this build is they chose those Xeon CPU which for servers is amazing but has no place in a gaming rig even though in theory they should preform roughly the same as the i7 plus they keep saying "sly"
If they went with a single 990X then I'm pretty sure they would have gotten better reviews... -.-''

First off, LOL @ Sly.. It's an abbreviation "S.L.I". Also, If you're building a computer specifically for gaming, you shouldn't use a workstation motherboard... That's just like trying to use a Quadro card for gaming, nope. Obviously the CPU ratings are amazing because Xeon CPU's are meant for workstation which means they are extremely good for processing power. Seriously, just stick to another job.
