Actually Fox News is watched more than all of the other news networks. Every channel must provide a 1 hour News program WITHOUT COMMERCIALS. 2. News programs should not be rated by any Ratings system. 3. All News Channels live by the same rules, but are "Pay TV" for revenues as opposed to advertising.

Any responsible television or news network would or should mandate that this be the case. This inaccurate news is NOT limited to Fox news, but to most of the news networks I have seen or heard.

2. It depends on the workplace. Would a bar targeting homosexuals hire a heterosexual bartender? Of course not. So why is it any surprise when a "singles" bar chooses a heterosexual applicant over a homosexual one? Having worked in news for years, and media in general for nearly a decade, I can say with some knowledge that Fox adheres to few if any of the journalistic principles. they have completely abandoned concepts of accuracy and balance and in this case they are deliberately misinforming the public.

I work with a heterosexual transvestite (they do exist!). He's been happily married with children for many years. In any other place of business, I know his behavior would be considered weird, but the bosses (five females of Hawaiian descent) are very much progressive, and even compliment his wardrobe. Liberals are always attacking fox, it is one station with a different view. I am married to a black woman for 18 years now, my second oldest brother is a gay man living out in california. he is totally liberal. I love him and think the world of him as a person. You are correct on this report though. after seeing it, they seemed to bend the story.

It is truly astounding how far the erosion of journalistic integrity has been pushed at Fox. It reminds me of the Two Minute's Hate in Orwells 1984 - manufactured outrages that boil the blood of Fox's devout.

Having worked in news for years, and media in general for nearly a decade, I can say with some knowledge that Fox adheres to few if any of the journalistic principles. they have completely abandoned concepts of accuracy and balance and in this case they are deliberately misinforming the public.
Difference of opinion? If you think that invented facts count as op-ed then keep watching fox and get what you deserve.

look, it's not being hateful. the only point of this video was to point out that while their entitled to their opinion, they have no need to exxagerate. If, as you say, every other channel is slanted to the left, than fox should be able to be conservative without bending facts and merely telling the truth.

Sadly the American public is being misinformed by Fox News, a company own by Rupert Murdoch a man who has publicly declared that he will use all his media outlets to forward his rightwing conservative agenda and sell as much airtime, newspapers and other media as he can. He and his editors are responsible for the dumbing down of National Geographic and other fine publications.

yes in certain instances, a person can be arrested for hate speech and disturbing the peace.....usually the cops decide what that is......yes the laws are rather vague by necessity.

There is no such thing as a "hate speech" law in America. It doesn't exist. In the united states freedom of speech is considered an absolute, any law coming anywhere close to criminalizing racism would immediately be struck down as unconsitutional. "Hate speech" law is a fictional invented by bigots so they can bitch about their non existent persecution.

I have no problem with the idea of a conservative news network. It is the conservatives write to broadcast the news slanted towards their agenda. However, most conservatives are religious and FOX has a bad reputation of misquoting information and given false facts. I thought the moral conservatives thought lying was wrong? What happened?

Few people watch Fox because they want to be educated. Certainly educating the viewer is NOT the goal of Fox news.
Conservative Christians seem to get off on the idea they are being victimized. Not only does it act as an excuse to dodge the fact that they victimize others but also rile sthem up into action and dishing out out money.

Arguing against a religious body seems to be pointless. One logic to it all...discrepancies are in place to test faith and everything bad that happens is your fault for not accepting what i say.

I work with a heterosexual transvestite (they do exist!). He's been happily married with children for many years. In any other place of business, I know his behavior would be considered weird, but the bosses (five females of Hawaiian descent) are very much progressive, and even compliment his wardrobe. Once you get over the fact that he's in a dress, it very quickly stops being a "big deal", and he comes off as any other guy you may come across. A guy in a dress, yes, but a guy all the same.
