Man that is a big bong Ha Ha HA. Only jocking cool vid. And the answer to your question about Bill is The police A.K.A. the cops. Peace Out and maximum respect MATTY C.
how fantastically beautiful, the sounds really warmed my heart. I love to TUVAN throat sing, and it is obvious to me that the didjeridoo makes use of overtones in a very special way. I might just have to get a didjeridoo myself. Truly an amazing instrument and an amazing player ;) keep posting please!
Urdunchimeg, thank you very much. Unfortunately for some reason I cannot upload anything. I have had this problem for about two months. I am going to upgrade my connection and see if that helps.
A nice video to acompany the instructional one, you really seem in the zone. Shame about the recording quality, though hearing your circular breathes helps to me to understand how you do it, all in all, awesome and inspiring! How long you been playing for when you made this?
It's too bad people think of music in the boring-entertaining paradigm. People that play that know and understand the yidaki don't play to make "cool sounds" to impress or entertain others.
I am not sure what you mean by the drum noise. Playing a beat is something you just need to practice. Listen to the rythym around you out in nature. Water dripping, a bird's wings fluttering. Everything has a beat.
someone bought me a really cheap didj for my 17th birthday but i never practicsed enough to really get the hang of it. your videos are inspiring! thanks!

Cool!
Record the audio on your computer using a freeware program like Audacity, and a microphone. Almost any mic will do.
Still, the audio is good for youtube.
Also, try a portable MP3 recorder, and replace the soundtrack on your video with the soundtrack you have recorded.
Google digital juice tv for some free video editing tips.

Hi there, good vid, what is this didj classed as, D ?
Jabbaru 4 years ago
I forget the key. sorry.
seapoidog 4 years ago
Actually, I heard that didje's with curves in them help with back pressure (allow you to hold notes longer on one breath). Same with dimples.

I can tell the player is in his Zone... thats what`s great about playing the didj. It makes the player feel good. And its just gets better from here.
