Still couldn't believe that in "The End" he answered like no questions but the characters hung out with sheep the majority of the time haha.

I think the point of not finding out every last detail is that we don't honestly need to know every last detail. Some things are just mysteries. It's the same thing that angers me about fans of the TV show 'Lost': they want everything to be answered tidily, but it just _won't_. I'm fine with not knowing every detail. I enjoyed the ride. :)

I'm almost sure he got the idea of the sugar bowl from another book. The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle. There was a tiny mention of a sugar bowl in that book used as a device for communication...but it was one line of the book. so that might not be it. just guessing. that happens to be one of his favorite books. He's so charming I love him
