are you serious? It just sounds like freaking noise! There's no musical value to it. It's just a bunch of notes, but they are missing a bunch, maybe even most of them and playing the wrong notes, which then creates chords that just sound awful.
Also, they mess up on the timing, so it doesn't line up and sounds like a continuous stream of weirdness...
In short, there is no musical value whatsoever to that part....
Well, I am kinda a musical guy. I play trumpet in a classical band, a jazz band, and a pep band, and I also play keyboard/piano. I'm learning drums, but it won't take that long... Idk. I don't see how you can't hear it, but not everyone is as sensitive to all this as me i guess..
@mfbabin Apparently the vocalist for Sam and Herman's old band, Demoniac, did the death backing vocals on Inhuman Rampage. When I saw them live last, both Sam and Fred were doing them.

Dragonforce is the band that all diehard metal fans hate. Speeding up your recordings hardly counts as skill. Try Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, Hammerfall, Eluveitie, Equilibrium, stuff like that.

@YokoHimura08 they speed nothing up, in all of their behind the scenes video's and them playing in the studio is what goes on the album, they play it fulls peed, XD several times over and over again because they screw up with timing but they do not speed anything up. and even if they did it says that all players that play fast speed it up. better guitarists play faster then The 'force, are they sped up? just asking.
XD dude, they've screamed, alot of it was used in the inhuman rampage album throughout several songs, :P i think the screaming makes this song better honestly
Rhaspody wasn't very good, i've listened to him, he's not really that fast, its just the style in which they play... essentially, i'll pick the 'Force over Rhapsody
@djramen they didn't improve their live game, just watch the live in japan shows from 2004 where they sound absolutely amzing, they just hat difficulties in 2006
seriously tho, isnt the keyboard supposed to backup herman and sam at the taping solo at 4:22? I mean the keyboard is taking up ALL the sound, you can barely hear the guitars, and when I listened closely and only focused on the guitar sounds, it sounded good imo, but the keyboard ruined it, I'm not saying vadim is bad or sth i really think hes awesome :D it was probably the sound enginners fault that his keyboards sound took over the guitars... anyway correct me if im wrong :D
ZP has a beautiful voice, he should just learn to use it like a power metal singer should. He lacks POWER, and it's easy to hear that this song is very difficult for him to sing.
About the solos...they were all near-perfect, except that tapping part in the middle...I don't know why, but something sounded wrong...maybe it was just the keybord, it sounded out of place.
Anyway, still 1000 times better than how they played this song three years ago!
Actually I remember reading somewhere that for the inhuman rampage tour...they rehearsed only once before going on tour. This would explain their very inconsistent performance during those years. They have always, and still do drink a shit load of booze, but their performance was never as random as those two years. This could also be why when you see shows of them in japan (06 show) all their old songs are played very nicely while the IR songs are messy.

noob?... I've played guitar for 7 years. I have a damn good idea of the kind of work it takes, I'm not underplaying that.
And yes, they do speed up some of their songs (TTFATF for sure).
I listen to this genre of music a lot, I just don't really like this band because of their style. It just isn't as sophisticated as most power metal.
