hey does this have vehicle dynamics like, volts, speedo, Acceleration/Deceleration G's, compass etc like other pioneer navigation systems. Reason I ask is because I had an AVIC D3 in my car but it got stolen and my insurance company wants to replace it with this version since AVIC D3 discontinued. My last question, can you import custom backgrounds like you can for AVIC D3.

i dont think it has any of that stuff...well i havent seen any of it. the backgrounds think i believe u can make the background for load up but once it is loaded it has the same black background. this navigation pretty much has everything i showed and nothing more. other then the av outputs and rear view camera that u can do as an add-on theres really nothing else.

@beataddictz i had to replace all my speakers with new pioneer speakers and the antenna didnt work so i had to buy a new antenna...basically replace all the system. none of the old bose stuff works with the new pioneer unit. it fits fine but at the bottom theres some space, you might wanna make a custom trim or just ignore it.

@dmrios62788 when you buy the avic you can buy the avic f900 or f90bt....the one that says premier has a two year warranty which is the avic f90bt the one i have. thats the only difference. the speakers say premier as well.

Premier also has 4 volt outputs. The F900bt is supposed to have 2 volt outputs.

How much did this cost to install or did you do it yourself?

Me and my brother installed it. It took about 6 hours because it was our first time. The reason i installed it was becuz i wanted to hack the wires. the normal settings wont let you watch movies while driving over 16 mph or change navigation settings if you want to go to a new direction you would have to pull over. I think at bestbuy to install it might be around 100 bucks but they wont hack it for you

no i just had to movie the MUTE wire from one location to another. you can find the directions online.

install it normally and do the software hack.. i dont see why it took you 6 hours to install.. it was my first time and i did it in under 1.5 hours

my system was a bose system before so none of the speakers or wiring worked with my new head unit so i had to rewire every speaker and then find the power fuse that i could use for the head unit that would work because the entire bose system didnt work with my new headunit. maybe thats why?

yo , kid, they are selling me this unit 4 $500 brand new, the system looks great on your video , I was wondering if its really worth it ? because apart from you everybdy is giving bad reviews of it so im still thinking about it, Is there a navigation disk required for it like the d3 ? how to you update the navigation ? can the background be changed like with a picture or something ? Please respond . thanks

if its the same model i have for 500 then thats a great deal. depending on when the person yur buying it from bought it. the box may or may not say 2.0 installed. if it does then u dont need to update anything. if it doesnt have that update it has a lot of problems that the update fixed. which is probably why ppl give bad reviews becuz they dont have the update. u dont need any cd if there is 2.0 installed and u can change the background on the start up screen that says pioneer.

Thanks kid, I just got the system on friday and it has the 2.0 update and all. The only problem is that I have a infiniti G35 and the stereo kid is expensive as hell is like $170 cant find it cheap anywere. I know is a pain in the ass to install it so one of my guys is going to install it with parking baypass and add the bose addapter. Even the guy that sold it to me taold me that it is a great system. Do you know of any place I can get the KIt cheap ? THanks man

not really man after buying the system i jus bought everything new...pulled out my entire bose speakers n wires cuz that shit was from 93 n bought new pioneer speakers n rewired all of it. the only thing i used the same was the holster to hold the system since it was similar to my old bose radio size.

yea you can play music while using GPS. what the system does is when it wants to say "Take Next Left" it pauses the song and says that then starts up again when it stops talking.

na, it doesnt. the avic n series does and some other double dins do but u need the ibus adapter which runs for like 200 something bucks. but this one doesnt. im getting one of these 4 sure
