  • 7:47 and on is so enlightening

  • @BlackCatWoman23 Came out to watch You play... Why are You running away?!

  • 3:50 Such an eargasm...

  • BEST 13 MINUTES OF MY LIFE.

  • screw those who dont like this

  • I could listen to this song a million times...then another million times after that..

  • 9:24

  • Epic Bill Hicks quote.

  • I Lost My music Player With all the albums Of Tool!! D: I Need my Drug back.... Someone can Help Me with that??

  • TOOL is like a drug that you can OD on and still be alive...and come away with a deeper understanding of reality.

  • There's actually a set of indecipherable lyrics that come after the first verse. "wiping the web and the dew from my withered eye"... Dose anyone know what they are? Id like to.. Please educate me on that one cuz this is one of my favorite songs of all time and I don't like being ignorant to it....

  • @11Thrashmaster I'm pretty sure (with effects on the voice) that Maynard says the words My eye eye eye

  • The lyrics are not completely accurate, but the feelings there. I also like the fact that you have this on here because its hard to find a version of this song in its entirety in ONE piece!!!!!

  • WITH TOOL WE CAN OPEN OUR THIRD EYES !!!

  • Thumbs if you got sent here from Omegle.

  • think for yourself. question authority ;)

  • i dont think ive came down yet.

  • "Tool dedicated their triple-platinum[14] album Ænima (1996) to Hicks. The band intended to raise awareness about Hicks's material and ideas, because they felt that Tool and Hicks "were resonating similar concepts".

  • @MystkeeperOfTheNorth the funny thing is they are my favorite at what they do, and i found them completly seprate, then i found this and nearly shit bricks

  • I CAN OPEN MY THIRD EYE!!

  • i love this song it brings back alot of go memorys

  • bla bla bla drugs bla bla mind fuck did any one notis that to play this shit on the drums or time the gutars takes raw fucking talent

  • @3518ford I love playing this song on bass. For bass its not SUPER hard but, its fun and gets you moving.

  • Best parts: 10:08-10:21, 10:28-10:35, 11:01- 11:14, and 11:54-12:38 ftw

  • @drumminforpeart92 10:08-10:21 just gives me goosbumps everytime.

  • @zb1984 same. one of tool's best songs yet

  • Fuck Spirals Where is Her Vagina????????

  • Where is thwe creator???? Im keeping that in mind at all time I want to fuck!!!! Heer Soooo Bad!!!!!

  • tool is an amazing band even though I don't agree with drugs they're still pretty good if the Mona Lisa or the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel could be turned into a song it would surely be by tool

  • I love shrooms too. Not as intense or long lasting as acid. Both have a very strong yin / expansive energy quality. Not recomended as a daily food.

In my opinion the meaning of life is to find out and know that one is a speck of God / the All. When this is fully realized then one learns to abandon the ego. To be aware of the fact that we are submersed within finite matter. Knowing that we are all infinite is the first step in becoming unattached to material bondage.

  • Keep in mind that these are people that have not practiced macrobiotics for a significant period of time. I realize that it is easier to dismiss something rather then to find it out for yourself. When I say God is truly Great it is because I understand how it is that the worlds human population falls short and provides us with colorful chaotic dramtic historical events past, present and future to reflect and ponder upon. In the human perspective, what might seem imperfect is really perfect.

  • Personal proof by applying personal discipline. One has to self-study macrobiotics and then put it into a personal practice.

The wise person knows that he does not know it all however he also knows that it is possible to know.

  • Third Eye Wide Fucking open and I see that the world is rainbow static.

  • I am so happy I discovered TOOL while im still young. They really brought a whole new aspect of life to me. I used just practice christianity deeply because I was raised that way. My family may reject my view, but I dont reject theirs I just can see past all the lies and made up BS that it brought. W/o Tool I probably would've still been following blindly. I can actually say that this band made me a better person and changed my life. Kind of weird lol.

  • @BASSxACE fuck yeah man same here use to be the same way but thanks to tool it help me open my eyes or should i say my third eye

  • i think winggoddess is a gov troll. i watch videos because i like them and their message, but somehow i always see this person on the videos i like posting hater BS. so yeah i doubt its really a government troll but it does seem weird that she spends time on videos and just tries to hate and discredit them.. close minded fool

  • this song and that "rainymood" video seem to somewhat go well together

  • 4 people were unable to pry open their Third Eye.

  • @scarabmasta

get off the stupid youtube bandwagon, that shit is so fucking stupid

  • Does Tool at 3 a.m with only a lamp on and a half open window creep anyone else out?

  • @TheKornkornkorn

it would if it were 3:33 am

  • @TheKornkornkorn The only song of Tool's that would creep me out at that time would be Faaip de Oaid.

  • @TheKornkornkorn Four month old comment, but whatever...

That pretty much sums up the summer of every year since I heard of Tool.

  • @TheKornkornkorn no man, that's actually what i am doing right now haahha...

  • @TheKornkornkorn no but korn fans do

  • 12:37-13:12 --> beast !!

  • this holy crow above me

  • ...my third eye awakened.

  • "It's not a war on drugs, it's a war on personal freedom, it´s what it is ok?. Keep that in mind at all times. Thank you!"

    -- Bill Hicks

  • 3D?

  • is this tools longest song?

  • @streetlight482 not even close.

  • @streetlight482 No, i know that "Disgustipated" on their first album goes for nearly 16 mins! There may be longer songs than that i don't think there are many others if there are, this song however is still one of their longer ones.

  • @TheHaxxzor ya but disgustipated's end is all silence for a few minutes.

  • I always thought it was, ..."So glad we're 'sober'..."

  • This is more than a song it's a work of art!!

  • rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreal fucking high

  • great music can be made without being high too.

  • Comment removed

  • @denvermedibuds420 he is. try composing and playing his music like his on the piano. it takes talent and skill. taking drugs is like having bipolar. when you're high, you think the stuff you make and hear is genius, but when you come down from the high you realize what crap it is.

  • @winggoddess so ur callin tool crap? they made this music when they werebeyond high every song actualy

  • @denvermedibuds420 tool is crap compared to elton john. tool has good lyrics, but their music and voice quality need work. i don't mean to offend, i'm just giving my honest opinion. i'm sorry if you don't agree.

  • @denvermedibuds420 music like his*

  • The progression from this song to the tracks featured on Lateralus strikes me as seamless now. It presages the feelings of liberation, spiritual triumph, and the resumption of long impeded growth that are so pervasive on the next record.

  • Words cannot describe how I feel when I listen to this.

    It's almost like...

  • Too bad cut off when Hicks was about to say "The Beatles were so high they even let Ringo sing a few songs" :D Other than that, this song is obv awesome!

  • Holy shit. I can't listen to this without it controlling my conscious. I feel so fucked uppppp......

If I cried listening to this, I'm one hell of a fucked up person.........

  • Tool opened with this at the Sydney 'Big Day Out 2011' . Epic. Huge. Scary. Privileged to be there.

  • Comment removed

  • LSD + Third Eye + Pitch dark room + Volume full blast = Mind fuck!

  • @chinchou9 Pity that you have to do drugs in order to experience the awesomeness that is Tool.

  • @ShitMyCatsOnFire *Nods* But Tool is an epic band in any state of mind really.

  • @chinchou9 fuck yeah!

  • @chinchou9 Good Mind Fuck or Evangelion?

  • rrrrrrrrrrreal fuckin high on drugs

  • If god is an entity and we were made in it's image, then our eventual purpose is to become one with that entity...this is done through an infinite amount of time and space where in each of our consciousnesses progresses more each lifetime. One of "us" will eventually learn all that knowledge that we already have inside us thus making us "god" or one with god which would equal "heaven"...never reaching this revaluation equals an eternity of "hell"

  • Were just in a parallel universe where we're connected to everyone and everything in all of them past present and future..anyone who's taken acid knows this and one time I transcended to the center of all the universes and saw every question and answer that could ever be asked. Our conscious mind can't handle that much information thats why most of the time is comes to us in dreams.I sat down and came up with string theory without ever hearing about it not mention the other crazy shit I've seen

  • make me 88 :)

  • Tool and Bill Hicks "just plantin' seeds."

  • @streetsk8er33 You sir are a penis.

  • Tool are the only band that i INSIST on listening to on the best quality recording possible. To the point im now about to make the 30min walk home from my friends to go get the album rather than listen to it on here. Not slating this upload in the slightest though its just my personal nark, get tool to the masses so they appreciate real musical talent and hopefully we can get people like beiber to k hole into infinity or commit suicide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the1 person who disliked this should be executed by bear rape

  • He says "Here's Tom with the weather" but they never give Tom's weather report, I need to know if it's gonna snow!

  • @winstonsmithamm Cloudy with a 100% chance of acid rain

  • @winstonsmithamm where do you live I'll tell you if it's gonna snow. P.S. my name is Tom

  • Mckenna to Hicks then Tool... your turn

  • "I think drugs have done some good things"

  • Hay cantos floridos; que se diga

    yo bebo flores que embriagan,

ya llegaron las flores que causan vértigo,

    ven y serás glorificado.

There are flowery songs; let it be told

    I drink intoxicating flowers,

here are the flowers that cause vertigo,

    come and be glorified.

    Monólogo de Nezahualcoyotl - Nezahualcoyotl

  • Finally someone put the whole damned song up. I was getting tired of linking two links to people when showing this song. Call me lazy but it was killing the feel and flow of this amazing song. Thanks man.

  • PRYING OPEN MY THIRD EYE!

  • this song is a massive attack on the ears and mind... i sometimes find it hard to believe only 4 people made this song.

  • Oh my god thank you. Its so hard to find the full version on youtube. D:

  • so. is tool a druggy band cuz i always thought they were drug frree n' stuff, so this song kindof confuses me. any help?

  • @davidsix54321 They did, but they also attack drugs.

  • Comment removed

  • @davidsix54321 Here is what you need to know about drugs. They can be used properly as a tool, no pun intended, to achieve what normally takes years of hard work and dedication. This is either because the principles are no longer taught in the home because of organized religion & govt which could be part of the same initiative to keep us all blind to the truth. NWO

So basically, drugs can be spiritual cheat codes; Tool advocates truth. "When you get the message, hang up the phone." - Alan Watts

  • @Parasiticpride Well said!! Bill Hicks had it right. For what other reasons (other than they just don't want you to know) would they ban the drugs that grow NATURALLY on earth and allow your mind to be opened? Just because the Bible says not to eat from the TREE OF KNOWLEDGE of Good and Evil doesn't mean we cant. God doesn't make mistakes, and he gave us FREE WILL. The mind altering drugs I've been on have only brought me closer to God's reason for our existence: To LOVE and grow Spiritually!!

  • @ccfbrad Lots of things occur naturally, opium, box jelly-fish, etc... That argument has been co-opted anyone calling for decriminalization of weed or whatever. The fact that I think it should be is irrelevant. My point is that just because something occurs naturally, doesn't make it divinely righteous.

  • we were told to use what we were given on the earth, with only 1 restriction.....sounds like we as humans have no right to ban naturally occurring elements

  • @fsandt

  • @susiesalm8977 Your mama <3

  • @susiesalm8977

    welcome.

  • @susiesalm8977 fuck you asshole

  • @susiesalm8977 Why?

  • @PurpleFalcon7 because turkies are not brown mannn.

  • @4resi2tence0 They're more like....orange...

  • @4resi2tence0 yah htye are

  • @PurpleFalcon7 Because I'm a prog fan. I sit and listen to this like I'm smoking weed. I'm weird as all hell.

  • @susiesalm8977 Go suck donkey penis! This is a work of art, you know nada!!

  • @susiesalm8977 Go suck donkey penis! This is a work of art, you know nada!!

  • One of Tool's best songs imo. Im a christian, but I love the "heres Tom with the weather" bit. These are undoubtedly some of Tool's best lyrics, and the song is just amazing. IN OUT IN OUT

  • @AvengedK0rn7Fold

Try Opiate, thats also a good song, with good lyrics ;)

  • @kraeckelium Oh my!!! Suggesting to a "Christian" that doesn't know much about Tool to check out "Opiate" and the lyrics is like going for the kill after the first blow in a boxing match. In order to "get it"...that is, to get Maynard's lyrics AND Tool's music....you have to consume the content slowly, and have an open mind when listening.

  • @ccfbrad

The lyrics of Maynard are not that hard to understand, it depends on the think pattern you see and hear the world around you with. If you like these manners of thinking, try to listen to Terence McKenna. Definitely Bill Hicks took his theory and turned it into a great comedy sketch (McKenna's "Stoned Ape" Theory of Human Evolution)

  • @kraeckelium Of course his lyrics aren't hard for someone like me or you (merely mentioning Terrence McKenna tells me that you think outside the box...lol) . 9 out of 10 people wont get his lyrics (i am referring to the true meanings). And each song can and will have multiple meanings, all dependent upon the listener. I am pretty confident that I can come up with a different meaning for any Tool song that you give your interpretation for. Thats the beauty of MJK. : )

  • @AvengedK0rn7Fold I don't get the part with '' I'm a christian ''

So what does religion have to do with a song about opening yourself ?

Now, going back to the song, it's the best song on Aenima, but only a bit better than the other awesome songs :)

  • @NearbyHermit Keep in mind to see the true identity of things you must ignore all that was taught to you (even religion) and see what they really are.

To think for yourself you must question authority...

    -Timothy Leary

  • @DCH13000 That first paragraph was me.

  • @DCH13000 Man made authority ...

  • @NearbyHermit Therefore you are questioning man.

  • @DCH13000 I admit, you've left me hollow ...

  • @NearbyHermit What do you mean?

  • @DCH13000 As in, what are you talking about ?

And did you comment on a Castlevania video ?

  • @NearbyHermit No I did not.

  • @AvengedK0rn7Fold not a lyric, Bill hicks.

  • @AvengedK0rn7Fold i'm sure you got so much shit for this but that wasn't tool, that was a friend of tool's who was a comedian. he died and this song and Ænima are pretty much based off his words. maybe more off of the cd, i'm unsure, but yeah... etc.

  • @AvengedK0rn7Fold "Im a christian"

why don't you just go ahead and put "i'm illogical"??

  • @opti95 ohh snap! his beliefs are unpopular!

  • @durrr123 illogical

  • @opti95 in your oppinion. which is subjective, and merely a drop within an ocean that ironically could probably not contain your ego.

  • @durrr123 sure buddy. thats actually kind of cool, but still religion is illogical, sorry buddy, there is actual truth in the world, sorry you can't see it.

  • All I've talked about seeing is your lack of comprehension that your opinion is neither absolute nor objective and that what you say you "know" is really just what you've chosen to believe based on what you've been told in your life. In reality, the fact that anything exists at all, the entire universe included, is completely illogical. Unless you can grasp the concept of eternity (simply reference your mass of world knowledgeand truth, i'm sure it's in there somewhere)

  • @durrr123 Mathematics is the only universal truth

  • @bbeboutuaa Half correct. Mathematics has its relevance in the relative material universe. Opposite to that is the absolute spiritual universe which is really where the material universe is manifested out from. It cannot be the other way around.

  • @SpiralsHappen and I take it yo have proof of this spiritual realm you speak of. Or do you just take it on faith.

  • @bbeboutuaa I should have been more clear.

The relative (finite) material universe and the absolute (infinite) spiritual universe, which also includes and controls the former.

To answer your question; personal proof by applying personal discipline. One has to self-study macrobiotics and then put it into personal practice.

The wise person knows that he does not know it all however he also knows that it is possible to know.

  • @SpiralsHappen Google "personal proof" and look at the third result. I don't think anything more needs to be said.

  • @tontel8 Merely saying or thinking about prying open the third eye does not make it so that easily. One needs to uncalcify the mid-brain pineal gland third-eye with proper food practice first and foremost. Physical activity such as exercise and stretching also helps to accelerate a healthy mind.

    Google the pineal gland.

Keep in mind that proper balance between the two universal forces plays an important part in achieving spiritual success.

  • @SpiralsHappen

meh. i just took some shrooms and put myself in the right mind state and pretty much just stumbled upon it by accident. It being the meaning of life, I guess? whose to know the answer to that question, Just a well developed opinion through experience.

  • @bbeboutuaa trip on DMT for a couple week you will see what he is talkin about.

  • @opti95 in fact, what you think you know, is really what you've decided to believe, well-informed or not. Take a remedial philosophy class and then come back and talk about what you know to be true. Perhaps then, when you have a better grasp on perception and subjectivity you'll respond like less of a cunt when someone says something that doesn't factor into your obviously huge and perfect existential equation

  • Comment removed

  • @opti95 How can you listen to something like this and think like that?

  • @Indigokitteh i will not regret telling the truth.

  • @opti95 Well, I guess we'll find out when we die. :) To each his own.

  • @AvengedK0rn7Fold why you open that up with "I'm a christian."? you think tool is sacreligious? or do you think drugs are sacreligious? cause both are far from it.

  • @GNRslashrules13 in fact psychedelics are a very good tool to use to get more in touch with your spirituality

  • @AvengedK0rn7Fold

Those aren't lyrics by Tool. It's material from one of the late comedian Bill Hicks's performances. Check him out.

  • @moherring Lol, not all of the text in the description box is from Bill Hicks.

  • yes thank you

  • thank you so much for the full song in one video.

  • @toolopiatelateralus You can thank Youtube for that, haha.
