  • Wow. You are definitly gay.

  • well basically america is a backwards uncivilised country now thanks to the republican elite.

there are far more worse things in the world than gay marriage but christian/religious terrorists wont do anything about that , thats because ..control some ones genitals control the person religion is about domination and control and holding people in spiritual bondage. religion is filled with child abusers wife beaters and queer bahers.. dont trust their malavolent agenda

  • Republicans are every bit as much in favor or abortion and homosexual marriage and deficit spending as the democrats. They had multitudes of opportunities over the last 30 years and did NOTHING. Republicans are frauds. That's why I didn't bother to vote for the first time in 2008.

  • I have never been to a tea party but I was involved in the 2007 online tea party to raise funds for RON PAUL. The state does not belong in the bedroom. I'm a strait guy but I could care less if gay people get hitched. Are they in favor of unnecessary aggresive wars abroad? then I have a problem with them. do they believe we can continue to print money? then I have a problem,

  • other then chris shays who i wish actually won his congressional seat, there were and are FEW republicans who i really like. they seem to hate our guts. and they have become too extreme

  • if you Go to Wikipedia and type in Baker v. Nelson, The case will show you that the same court in Loving v Virginia not only distinguished same sex marriage from interracial marriage, but established it as a right that does not exist under the constitution and never did. so the 14th amendment does not confer a RIGHT to gay marriage anymore than it does for polygamy

  • @kenballer00Once again my point is missed. I say it is a RIGHT because it is. The fact the courts haven’t figured that out yet means nothing to me. Just as abortion is wrong, gay marriage is a right regardless of what some idiot on a bench thinks.

  • Even if the U.S. supreme court overturns baker v. nelson today or the country establishes gender neutral marriage into our constitution, same sex couples still would not and cannot be married because it is impossible by nature. there is no such thing as gay marriage. what societies, religions, and governments (including our country) call "marriage" actually flows from our very human nature. it is a relationship that we apply the word "marriage" to, but the relationship is what comes first...

  • @kenballer00 Your argument is somewhat abstract. It is however incorrect the relationship I am capable of forming with the same gender is as strong if not stronger then those formed by hetro couples.

  • @devdoger62

in a private situation, the state or society may not have a right to tell you who you can or cannot marry. however, as soon as you step outside the private realm of RELIGIOUS marriage and enter into the public sphere of CIVIL marriage, you are subject to the law (where you cannot marry your sister, uncle, etc) and public opinion or vote because civil marriage is about public policy.

  • I am sorry but I must stick to my thinking . Coming from a long line of Atheist going back to Sam Clemens . I still think believing in a sky daddy that no one has ever seen is the same as believing in Peter Pan.

  • nobody's forcing gays to deny their attractions or raiding gay marriages in churches. gays can freely express their feelings of love in a church and get all the benefits that come with marriage through civil unions. however, as soon as you step outside the private realm of RELIGIOUS marriage and enter into the public sphere of CIVIL marriage, you are subject to the law and public opinion or vote because civil marriage is about public policy.

  • @kenballer00 I am not sure I understand your point. Are you telling me the way things are without regard to your personal feelings or do you believe that this is the way it is and should be. If the later is the case I would assert that there were times when interracial marriage was illegal, just because the government has the right to deny someone happiness doesn’t mean it is not discrimination.

  • and the central aspect of that relationship is the sexual union that brings about and develops the next generation which is an absolute necessity for the civilization to continue or any civilization for that matter. sense the continuation of society is the first concern of the state. the government has a vested interest in protecting the institution of marriage ( the relationship).

this is why every government in the history of the world even the most simple tribes regulated marriage.

  • @kenballer00 I am a true conservative. I truly believe the government should stay out of our business and that freedom is the most important thing in the world. Second gay marriage would not harm civilization. Heterosexuals would continue to have children.

  • @devdoger62

gay activists and atheists would require the same thing from pastors and religious organizations when they entered the public arena or try to influence public policy to express their beliefs. the same standard applies to the gays and their sexual expression being displayed in public and influencing public policy when using my taxpayer's money to indoctrinate children and socially experiment with your corrupted views of marriage and humanity

  • @kenballer00Once in a blue moon someone says something that makes me ashamed to be a conservative. I will agree that the school system is brainwashing children. However as a student I assure you it is not coming from gay activists. Rather it comes from the Marxists in academia. You should be worried about them but instead you waste your time alienating a rather large voting block and delivering them to the true enemy of communism the purest incarnation of Satan if there ever was one

  • I personally would not come from this point, as I think a belief in a god is a mental illness, and can not be dealt with rationally. I personally think religious folk need to be medically treated.

  • @Clemburke1111 I see you point and you are more than likely right it would not work. However I think I will still try. BTW the belief in god is not the problem the belief that any religion could possibly be the word of god and not that of insane leper living in a cave somewhere thousands of years ago. Personally I am an agnostic deist. I don’t claim to know anything but I believe in a higher power that created the universe to function without it.
