As far as fuel injectors, there are larger high impedence fuel injectors that can be installed. It is not extremely difficult and a person modifying a car would automatically do this if necessary. There are TT Z06s making 900-1000 rwhp on 93 octane that are quite docile around town and you wouldn't know it. Guess what, the LS3 uses the same injectors as the LS7.
I own the 2.0t and I definitely feel some pull on that... i can only imagine the v6 turbo has atleast twice that man.. road noise isn't bad unless your used to the silence of a mercedes..

a stock 2009-2010 corvette, with a D1SC procharger and methanol can make 800whp. Stock EVERYTHING including the clutch.. The corvette is so far out of this cars league its not even funny. Drop in a 416ci with F1SC procharger and that's 1200whp.

A bone stock LS3 with just a Procharger bolted to it and a tune, no headers, no cam, stock heads and valvetrain will make 550whp with 8 lbs of boost. How do I know this? ECS built my buddy's Novi1500 LS3 C6 and it makes 556/510. That is just with the blower on a stock block. They could bump it into the 600 range safely with meth, but he has no need for that on his street car.

New Corvette makes 424@flywheel, so 348 WHP assuming 18% drivetrain loss. It also has a 10.7:1 compression ratio. So, in order to get 800 WHP you would need 19 psi of boost (at least).
10.7:1 @ 19psi on a pushrod 2-valve engine = dead engine.
Also, the fuel concerns have not been addressed. The fuel injectors would be over 200% duty cycle to make this happen.
@CPUOverclocker64 the 2-Valve mustangs run that kind of boost all the time. why can't gm do it? oh yeah, they can. :D seen it done. besides, GM prefers superchargers. they blow up less often.
no to mention ANYTHING at all running 19lbs of boost on a stock engine needs a lot of work from injectors as far as internals. PS the Genesis coupe is in the 370Z/V6camaro/V6mustang class. not V8. you do know that the 3.8 genesis is a V6 don't you?
@idfspecops It's called "compression ratio". They can run higher boost because their static compression ratio is a lot lower. Not only that, the 2-Valve Mustang engine is substantially smaller, has a much shorter stroke and is SOHC. There is a world of difference. Finally, it isn't an amount of boost that decides when the engine goes, it's how much power it makes. Boost + compression = knocking, which will destroy an engine, but an engine's upper limit is based on power.

New Corvettes, with the LS3(2008+) make 430(436 opt. exh) hp and dyno between 380-394 rwhp 6 speed auto or manual. Plenty of video as proof. They trap 117-119 bone stock at low 12s stick or auto. With 9 psi from a Vortech, Procharger or APS TT kit make 580-620 rwhp with 9 psi and 93 octane. A Cam, exhaust and tune and they are just under 500 rwhp still N/A.

With just simple mods, supercharger, headers, meth and safe tune.. I got 610wHP which this Gensis needs only about 530wHP to keep up because of its light weight.. and I have seen quite of few gensis with over 500wHP on the internet..
not to argue completely but thats not exactly true it has alot to do with what all has been done to the engine as well as what engine is in the car. the standard corvette makes 424 at the crank however with heads and a cam they are about 550(this figures in retuning as well mind you). the z06 is 505 hp stock from a 7L instead of the 6.2 used in the base corvette, again new heads and cam with tune gets more. the more you do to it the less boost you need
ve has alot to do with it more airflow without boost means less boost pressure for the same airflow. assuming all else is the same if a 6L maxs a 70 lb turbo at 15 psi a 3L would max it at 30 psi for the same airflow hence power if the compressor maps where within the same efficiency islands and the turbine housings can flow enough to support the proper airflow to make that much boost. check out my350z.com there are people making 700hp from a 3.5L at 19 psi boost
@CPUOverclocker64 dont think a engine twice the size can do it at lower boost? it depends on each engine and how it performs i know mallet was running a zr1 with 1k+ hp for bull run, and ive seen people running 427s out of the lsx block over 2k hp(the cast iron gmpp block and also the warhawk aluminum block) which 427 is 7L aka same displacement as the zo6

New Corvettes, with the LS3(2008+) make 430(436 opt. exh) hp and dyno between 380-394 rwhp 6 speed auto or manual. Plenty of video as proof. They trap 117-119 bone stock at low 12s stick or auto. With 9 psi from a Vortech, Procharger or APS TT kit make 580-620 rwhp with 9 psi and 93 octane. A Cam, exhaust and tune and they are just under 500 rwhp still N/A.

LS3 C6s make 370whp out of the box. 600-610whp is the upper limit for stock motor LS3s with meth. To get to the 800s, you're cracking the motor open.

I do know of a '07 Vette making 1000 hp at the crank and 809 at the wheels @ 745 ft lbs. But this gal's vette is anything but stock with a few bolt ons....LOL She did a fantastic job on it. Looks totally stock from the outside. A sleeper Vette if such a thing can be said......

@wullu5 Agree def aint stock. I know couple of guys with over 700wHP LS3.. Its stock internals but took supercharger, Headers, cam, meth inj, fuel system, and a tune of course.. With just simple mods, supercharger, headers, meth and safe tune.. I got 610wHP which this Gensis needs only about 530wHP to keep up because of its light weight.. and I have seen quite of few gensis with over 500wHP on the internet..

not to argue completely but thats not exactly true it has alot to do with what all has been done to the engine as well as what engine is in the car. the standard corvette makes 424 at the crank however with heads and a cam they are about 550(this figures in retuning as well mind you). the z06 is 505 hp stock from a 7L instead of the 6.2 used in the base corvette, again new heads and cam with tune gets more. the more you do to it the less boost you need

ve has alot to do with it more airflow without boost means less boost pressure for the same airflow. assuming all else is the same if a 6L maxs a 70 lb turbo at 15 psi a 3L would max it at 30 psi for the same airflow hence power if the compressor maps where within the same efficiency islands and the turbine housings can flow enough to support the proper airflow to make that much boost. check out my350z.com there are people making 700hp from a 3.5L at 19 psi boost

@CPUOverclocker64 dont think a engine twice the size can do it at lower boost? it depends on each engine and how it performs i know mallet was running a zr1 with 1k+ hp for bull run, and ive seen people running 427s out of the lsx block over 2k hp(the cast iron gmpp block and also the warhawk aluminum block) which 427 is 7L aka same displacement as the zo6

@golf1262 I'd never buy a z06 even if i had the money for the simple reason that they don't come with a targa top. You cant' have a vette without a top that comes off, just like you can't have a vette that isn't a manual in my book :)
