i can't believe why everybody was yelling about how poorly named this movie was...

come on fools, the "hidden dragon" was refering to the love, not any fighting heros

this song clearly provides the clue to let you understand this is a love movie.

Not really.

It's the original title in Chinese (wohu canglong), because Hidden Dragon and crounched tiger is an matter of speaking to say "you can't judge a book by it's cover", or dangerous or very incredible person can't be spoted at the first sight.

man ur living in an modern world, people mess around with words, applying old sayings with new meanings.

In this case, the main character(forgot his name...) had always acted as a decent guy, and his love with... (forgot her name again) had always been "hidden". it was until the end of the movie did he reveal his feelings towards her

I guess you're right, but, it also feet to the young lady, that is trully a promissing young girl and turn inot a snake...and that seem to be a normal family girl and revealed herself as a martial artist...The title fits to barely every caracter in the movie and still, keep the original meaning :)

Anyway, I guess we're arguing for nothing cause we've the same thought : the title rocks :)

Yes she is beautiful the story is beautiful the martial arts is beautiful I can't believe or picture how brilliant such a movie like this came together especially the love in this movie nobody now a days believe in this kind of love one of 2 stories, 1 the man coming back for his love and 2 another man patiently showing the courage of his love the both sides that broke the bondages of arrange marriages and gave a reason to love for the new generation but now a days people take it for granted :(

it was an incredible movie!! and i'm pissed it didn't win best picture...it only won best foreign picture. karate, aikido, UFC is nothing compared kung fu cause not only is this a sport but its a beautiful art that tells so much just in the fighting.
