I am a relatively new fan (since they released so wrong its right) and I think that I have an equivalent status to those older fans.

To comment on their "lack of interest in the fans" You have to realize that these guys are touring 10x as much as they used to in the past years at least..and are meeting literally millions of people...so excuse me if they don't eat your face when they meet you. I think they are doing their job..and that's ENTERTAINING US!!!
