  • I rescued a baby Crow (Australian) from a Goanna. I raised it inside, but every time it heard another crow outside it went crazy, so when it could fly I moved it out to the shed where it could come and go as it pleased, my neighbour tried to kill it, so it stopped letting me hand feed it and after two months it gradually got shyer and shyer and then didnt come back, so sad 8'(

  • super cool pet

  • "Mommmmm,. you're embarrassing me!!!"

  • That crow is awesome. He's clearly very cheeky, but kind of in a fun way...not like a "peck your eyes out" way...

  • ......I want a crow now.

  • give the poor littel guy more water...they like a LOT of it

  • lolololo he's shy he cant do it with you looking lolololololo

  • Poop -_-

  • He's a cute guy! I wonder why he won't let his tail feathers grow in...

  • i wonder why crows aren't very common as pets.. they're extremely intelligent, aren't they? Just like parrots and pidgeons

  • smart and cute

  • Cute

  • Super Smash Brothers Brawl is what I hear in the background heheheh

annnnnyways I love your pet crow he's so completely adorable <3

  • Off topic but was someone playing Super Smash Bros Brawl? lol he's such a cute bird! love him :)

  • does he go outside at all?

  • he dosent really like to be handled much does he??

  • What a cute & unusual pet :)

  • crows are so annoying, especially the noises they make

  • So does Chico live in a cage, or no?

  • But Twiggy stayed safe and secure until we released him. And for now, that's the last bird I'm caring for b/c I've got our other 4 birds to deal with and take care and their babies too if and when they have some.

  • You see, I was fussing over not having a blank cartridge to video tape him with, only like 2 minutes left on a tape, and then finally got around to taking some pics. I couldn't film or hold the camera and take pics at the same time I was feeding and caring for him. Once, I had him on the ground feeding him and had to push the cat away with my foot and one of our two dogs. Another time, I had to hold him and chase the cat away w/ a newspaper & popped her on the butt so she would leave.

  • Just watch him around your face. Twiggy flew at my face and nearly poked me in the left eye but I closed it just in time. And he only slightly bumped my eyelid but no mark was left and luckily it didn't hurt but scared the fool out of me. The funny thing is that he would do this jiggy jiggy motion with his head like he was trying to hammer at invisible wood or something when I held him in my hands. I didn't film much but got some pics of him eating from a bowl in the house.

  • I figured Twiggy would bathe himself in the wild once I released him. But yes Cheeko since he's taken up a permanent residence with you MUST have a bath to keep him clean and healthy and free of bird mites. All captive birds must either be bathed by hand or bathe themselves in a shallow dish or sink. I use dawn dishsoap and/or misting bird bath.

  • Huh, thought you'd bathe him in the sink. You can , you know as long as the water is warm. I bathe our pet birds the three cockatiels and the quaker parrot in the bathroom sink. Then I towel dry them and blow dry them on warm/cool. I know you're not supposed to use a blowdryer b/c it can dry their skin out, but they have to be thoroughly dry. You can use a moisturizing bird spray. However, Twiggy the woodpecker, I didn't bath b/c he was young and a wild bird going to be released.

  • That's really cute!

  • 1:35 AWAY AWAY AWAY AWAY

  • whats happend to his wings and feathers?

  • he kinda looks like he could use some tlc. And be more gentle when u approach him, like dont thrust the camera at him or screech back like that and dont chase him. Crows are very intelligent but this guy needs you to be calmer with him so you can get the best out of you relationship.

  • sup with his wings?

  • I see he leaves "souvenirs" on the sofa. Lil pest lol adorable!!!

  • Sooo cute... I'm jealous!!!

  • Crows are one of my favorites types of birds!!!

They are so beautiful and smart!

  • He's so adorable!!! ^^

  • he looks like a chicken without that tail duuuuuuuuuuude

  • omg this is soooooooooo cute!

  • He doesn't want anybody looking at him while he's taking a bath lol so cute!

  • Cheeko is beyond adorable, so cute! I love birds

  • What a cutie! Don't worry about all the poop complaints; people who aren't owned by birds don't understand about the poops. You just get over it. It's part of having birds!

  • he looks destressed :( he belongs back in the wild

  • Thats the coolest friggen pet..........

  • CUTE!

  • He's shy when taking a bath.

  • does he really understand you

  • i heard someone playing brawl.

  • :D

  • At 1:42 cheeko: "bigger bath!! Bigger bath!!!!" Lol he looked so frustrated because his wings weren't getting wet.

  • Hi- I love Cheeko. My crow's name is Poopie. It used to be Huyanna which is a lot prettier, but somehow it became Poopie. She is 3 months old and she lives outside with the dogs. We just love her so much. She's like a little miracle. She loves baths, cantaloupe, hot dogs and squirrel hunting with the dogs.

  • Chiko: Hhheey...Dont watch me...Heeeeyyyy...Dont watch me! D8>

  • This video made me laugh with all his noises and the clanging his beak made against the bowl. I can see his mom loves him very much.

  • I think he is still asking for food when he came up to you and squcked a lot

  • Aww! :)

Next time give him the water on a large plate. I used to own birds and they like to practically sit in the water so they can shake like that.

He's so adorable, you are so lucky to have such a handsome man!

  • @evathemizer I love this idea? How did I never think of that? I've got a lovebird, so she's too shrimpy for a big bowl of water anyway. She loves the shower, but a plate never even occurred to me! I'm gonna try it as soon as she wakes up from her nap.

  • So what does it mean when he vocalizes that way? Are there different sounds he makes that you can clearly associate with certian things?

  • He's so awesome! Crows are so smart, I love how he listens to you when you tell him to go take a bath! XD

  • Bird: "Who films people when they're bathing?! Go away!!!" XD

Mind you, he's absolutely adorable ;)

  • omg, you need to get him a bigger bowl. I had a baby grackle, I first thought he was a crow, and he would bathe in my dogs water bowl. He would submerge his entire body though, he loved doing that. Finally I had to turn him into a wild life refuge center cause I was going to travel and couldn't keep him/her. Great experience though.

  • so cute

  • Is it possible to toilet train him..?

  • Quack?

  • Girl: COME HAVE A BATH!!!!!!!!!!! :3

    crow:NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Looks like he either don't like the Camera or wants you something to do ^.^

  • I think he is saying "Cheese!" since you said you would give him some cheese if he took a bath. :P

  • Ehm..If theres poop why do he eat it then!?

  • ohhh he's soooo cute~it's like he's talking 2u :)

  • there's shit all over the couch!

  • how is that taking a bath. the water only touched its head

  • LOL i hear ssbb

  • hey uknow 2 save money u can ask ur vet how to clip his nails ur self to save money and mayb hes beak 2 :)

  • Awesome vid, i love birds. Especially the ones with black feathers.

  • What are you feeding him? It's weird that his feathers don't grow normally. Maybe he's deficient in something he needs to be able to molt? Birds need Vitamins A and D to have normal plumage.

  • loove love LOVEEE his little grunty caws!! sooo cute!! I wonder what he was trying to say. :)

  • poor crow

  • he say at 1:43 wheres my food? i dont want water!

  • Why are his tail feathers missing? Did you do that to him?!

  • truly amaking video did you get him as wild??? how did you manage to train him? i think hes so cute!!!!

  • do he sleeps at night? you put him in a cage?

  • Thats one confused wild bird

  • i want one = (

  • 1:32 - AH!AWWW!AWWWW!!! OWW... SO CUTE! :3

  • Comment removed

  • my god, look at the state of hi/her. look at his nails and feathers...dont you see you should not own an animal like this? they're not supposed to be pets! poor creature.

  • he's trying to tell you that you done a bad thing capturing him and forcing him to live in captivity and that you're going to hell for doing it. that's what he's trying to say, in itcy witsy bitsy cutie-pie birdie-talk.

  • he or she is so cut

  • Does he want to get outside? What would happen if he did?

  • 1:33 "CAN I HAVE SOME PRIVACY, LIKE NOW?"

  • Lol at someone playing SSBB in the background.

  • @leonidas1977livi T-T thats so sad! :c but sweet.

  • What a lovely little bird! His beak does look a little dangerous though. Most pet birds like parrots have blunt beaks. Don't get me wrong I do like crows but I'm afraid to get near them because of their beaks since there're movies where crows picked out people's eyeballs. Yikes!

  • how do u no its a boy 0_o cuz in science we had like a pet bearded dragon and we thought it was a boy but it laid eggs... we had to through them away cuz they weren't fertilized. =[

  • smart bird

  • he wants privacy! xD

  • wtf bird is smarter than me

  • i think he's hungry

  • That was sexy when you said, "you silly", the second time.

  • i think that crow wants out of the house???

  • dude CROWS ARE LACTOSE INTOLERANT WTF DONT HIM CHEESE YOU COULD GIVE YOUR BIRD DIAREA bad stuff man for reals

  • so cute but the beaks are scary huhuhuhu

  • hah, I hear Super Smash in the background

  • need to trim the toenails. his feet should sit flat on the floor......cool bird. i have a severe macaw :)

  • i want a crow like yourse :D

  • he is so cute! i want one! XD

  • ur bird its awesome, and it looks like he really loves you!!!!....its great that u take so good take care of him.....I love crows!!!!

  • Doesn't he poop everywhere? Or can you teach him not too?

  • he want to go free

that why he stand near window

  • I see you added a comment about his nails being trimmed, but what about his beak?

  • @Oreocremerocks yep yep we definitely trim that too!

  • @marielledelaine Your crows so cute lol. Is a Crow hard work as a pet? I mean do you have to constantly be taking care of it? Or can you just let it fly around outside all day. And will it get attacked by the wild neighborhood Crows?

  • Cheeko is so cute! Your so lucky to have a pet crow! (:>)

  • what a little cutie!! I can only imagine what type of destruction that little thign does around the house!! Such a nice thing to take care of him!! I hope he's still doing alright...

Is he attached to you or any others?

  • you have to be patient to own birds but crows are very smart. give him toys to play with but make sure not to spoil him

  • I would put up with the bird poop to have Cheeko live with me. I'm going out today to try to make friends with a local crow. This is the best I ever seen. I already have two squirrels and a family of racoons that come to visit./

  • WOW; It's like a flying Dog.

  • I like the little "Crow Hop" he does towards the bowl! Reminds me of when my African Grey would "Crow Hop" to my feet to play bite my toes!

  • Renato: ALL birds poop ALL the time. :3 Not just specific to crows, let it be said.

  • i have always wondered, does he shits everywhere?? and if yes it must be hard to keep everything clean isnt it? but i bet its worth it

  • I LMAO when you told him to leave your computer alone! XD Whole clip is cute from start to finish.

  • what a neat bird! I love crows. I'm glad you saved him.

  • one thing I don't get: if it's possible to tame them, why can't they be potty trained?

  • @RinEditionB

they can actually, but i just never took the time to do that.

  • WOW is he a cutii pie smarty or what!!!! BEST BIRD EVER!!!

  • can he fly? O.o

  • how did you get him?....

  • check the video description, and check the video mentioned there.

  • crow translator: are you fuckin nuts?! did u see how small that bowl is, i need a jacuzzi u dumb beeep

  • actually he doesn't like the bigger bowl.

  • I'm just curious, how did you come across him? Did you find him or buy him from a breader? Plus is there any useful sites/care sheets you could send me? After seeing your videos I'm more intrested in getting a crow as a pet.

  • AAH NO. that is the last thing that should be happening. crows are WILD ANIMALS. please don't think it is as easy as having a parrot. you have a crow, you get shit EVERYWHERE. on everything. your things get destroyed.

crows are wild and they come from the wild. he was rescued. read about it in the video description of my first video which is mentioned in the description of this one.

  • Oh honey, on the contrary, Parrots can destroy things as well. There was a Hyacinth MaCaw named "Captain Crunch" who was quite the embodiment of his namesake! He chewed a BIG hole into his human's Grand Piano! The only reason he didn't kill the bird is because he cost more than that piano! lol It is sad though that the Hyacinth MaCaw is endangered and still faces the real threat of extinction in the wild. Propogation has increased it's numbers.

  • He's saying "STOP TAPING ME WHILE I'M TAKING A BATH YOU PERV!". Anyways can he fly?

  • lol speed of him across the floor! EPIC!

  • @UnionProduction Don't you disrespect this crow, sir, don't you call it dumb! Its species isn't the one destroying our nature! Humans have no right to call anything but other humans dumb. That's my opinion.

    Love Crows.

  • @Fussino Actually crows are very inteligent birds lol

  • @halafradrimx I know, I know. I should have brought that into my commentary as well.

  • @Fussino

Too right! Crows are actually very smart as with many other animals besides human beings. So there, Mr. or Misses Union Production.

  • Crows are actually one of the more intelligent animals.

  • Crows are one of the smartest birds/animals. Anyway, if was actually going to be released into the wild and a hawk were to get him, that would unfortunately be life. Animals have to eat to survive right? However, obviously cheeko wouldn't be able to survive in the wild as he has been living in "captivity" for almost 4 years now. So fortunately for him, he won't end up prey to a hawk like yours!

  • @UnionProduction U STFU !!! IMAGINE THAT UR THAT CROW N I CALL U DUMB! WOULD THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY?! AND I RELEASE MY PET HAWK AND EAT YOU!? U MOTHER F*CKER ! RACIST!

  • He's adorable. It's clear from the videos how much you love him and how well you two get along. --

Questions: Since you're away from home, how well does he get along with the rest of your family? He doesn't seem to like to fly much. Is this just because he's inside, or is he just not fond of it? Does he respond to his name, or just your voice regardless of what you say? What's his favourite activity? --

    Thanks<3

  • @10deadpuppies

He adores both my mom and dad, my brother not so much cause he's always on the computer, but he is a loving birdy. He actually doesn't have any tail feathers, so he can't really fly, but he does when he needs to get an extra boost around the house, or when he's escaping from the evil vacuume!! he definately knows his name, but we call him Chicken and Cheeko so he responds to both. He likes baths and standing on his perch squealing and making cute noises.

  • i love cheeko. I love crows

  • god no!

go to "My Pet Crow" and read the description.

  • lol! hes sooooo cute! I want one! I like his he just holds the food in his mouth instead of eating it. at 2:10 he looks like a giant lol!

  • ya i was thinking theres a lot of shit on the couch lol and than it said yes there is a lot the couch... lol

  • That is sooooo kewllllllllllllllllll!!!!!!

    Where's his tail?

  • Haha at 1:34 checko is like "get the hell out of here"

  • I love cheeko, he is so cute and smart.

  • OMG that is just too cute.

  • omg you live in a trailer park, if so thats friggin awesome

  • ~ too cute ~

  • wow he seems like a great little friend how did u get him?

  • wow that's so cute

  • give him a cats litter tray full of water. my crow loves that.

  • AWW that is soo cute

  • I'm watching you and Chico with Merlin on my shoulder. He's only a month old. So much fun. I take Merlin in the shower with me. He loves that almost as much as he does sitting on my hand and shoulder. you could say I left an H out of sitting but...He showers on my shoulder. I love your videos.

  • He seems so incredibly intelligent ^^ Its almost like he understands you when your talking to him :3 Its very cute

  • Crows are among the smarter birds out there, there's a chance he does understand at least in a primitive sense.

  • Well most animals understand by the tone of voice you use on them :3 So maybe its something like that ^^

  • hahah when the bird is taking its bath it like is trying to tell her to go away cause hes naked :]

  • my jackdaw will only bath in his water bowl, which is tiny. I mist him though too so that his back and tail get bathed.

  • Omg, he's so cute <3

I loved the way he walked/hopped over to you as you called him for the bath XD ADORABLE(:

  • I love how he's bonded to you =) they seem like very smart birds to

  • there the smartass birds around >__>

  • I've seem a few of your videos now and some of the hateful comments. I think its amazing what you have done . Keep it up , you obviously have an affinity with animals. Others are jealous and bitter - Take good care of him, I'm sure he's extremely happy and spoiled .

  • NEVER RELEASE HIM IN THE WILD.. HE WILL DIE..

Also crows live a LONG time and need constant company.

  • I hear the wii in the background. Thats Brawl.

  • dam good ears

  • I hear it too...

  • How did you get Cheeko?

  • what did you feed him seed or buscuit or pieace of fruit bread lol i give the bread lol

  • I think this bird is gonna film u in the bath next, then he will be like how do you like it XD. Jokes. Cute bird :). And really cool. One question though... maybe someone else can answer this... But when you got him, wern't you afraid of like diseases and such? Or am I just being ignorant and think that all birds have em. lol.
