Lol, I was looking through the comments while the video played and then I just heard "I can't do it Cas, it's too big." That brought up some interesting mental pictures. Suffice it to say, I rushed back to the video rather quickly. On another note, the video was pretty great and put together very nicely.

Cas has become like a second brother to Dean - look how Dean trusts him and does his best to protect him. I don't see sexual tension between them, not really. Cas acts a little autistic, unexpirienced and insecure and it makes Dean take him under his wing :)
@angeleyes503 Misha says that these subcultures in slash and fanfiction and all these fandoms fascinate him XD and he admits to reading at LEAST ONE Destiel fanfic....who knows how many others he's checked out by now XD not too sure about Jensen...but overall i think Jared is the most openly accepting of the three when it comes to Slash and fanfiction...he said its a good experimental learning tool and he encourages fans to keep writing and exploring it....
@angeleyes503 Is Jensen that standoffish? He seems to just shrug it off really. I mean, he doesn't encourage it like Misha, but he doesn't seem to mind too much. And he's the one who suggested Dean take Cas's coat in 7x02 and I think he's even joked about Dean using it as a pillow.

The first thing is, you know, girls just love BL for the reasons I could never understand, so they tend to pair up ALL the characters that ever existed, even if they hate each other or just share a bond of friendship or brotherhood (talk about Wincest! As a shipper of Destiel, I obviously love this pairing a lot, they are cute together and there is indeed morality dispensed in this relationship. But for people who firmly assert that they are only friends, I will say that as strict friends they do have an awesome dynamic. I'm pretty sure Cas is the only real friend Dean has ever really had other than his brother. Hence the awkwardness that causes fans like me to read between the lines XD

I loved Sam/Dean even though they were brothers partly because I think Jared and Jensen are perfect for each other, lol. This is so great. It's the perfect crack couple. They add so many shoutouts to the fans about this ship. You should make another one. With the "last time someone looked at me that way I got layed", "Blow me Cas", "We share a closer bond." etc, etc.
I love their FRIENDSHIP, more power to those who do though. I missed a lot of season 4 because of Ruby LOL I do love the Cas/Dean dynamic, because I like that Dean has someone he can count on that doesn't betray him for demon blood...almost like he counted on his dad. er maybe. something like that. Well I gotta say, some of those reasons, I didn't even realize like that Dean senses Catiel. It's true and I thought about it. On the seasson 5 finale, after Sam jumps in the pit. Without Castiel saying anything, Dean looks back and he's there. And reason number 10, I loved tha reason. It's perfect. Even if that was the only reason. I freaking love both of them. They're my fave on the show. lol. :D
I don't think slash fiction is generally considered canon, more a sort of tangent where it's acceptable for out-of-character behaviour, and the people who write it don't necessarily want the characters to behave that way in the show.
I've never really been interested in it myself, but there is something in the chemistry of this relationship where I can see why people choose to interpret their closeness romantically.

@angeleyes503 My sister recommended the clip of the suicidal teddy bear, and I saw the name 'Castiel' in the side, and the angelology nerd in me had to click it and see the scene where Castiel and Dean first met.
And the rest is history.

@MissSweet77 OMG I'll be honest. That scene totally renewed my love for the show even though I've been watching since season one. By the end of season three, with no help from the writers strike, I was feeling a bit blah on it. But then Castiel came on and I found a new reason to keep watching. xD

Am I the only one that feels that each episode without Castiel is now incomplete? I mean, I understand he now has duties like reuniting Heaven, but he was so well acted and written I felt like he became a third full-blood Wincester brother. And now that he, outside of Bobby, is Dean's only, truly trustworthy ally...
It'd be nice if they took a few episodes and put them through his eyes too

As a shipper of Destiel, I obviously love this pairing a lot, they are cute together and there is indeed morality dispensed in this relationship. But for people who firmly assert that they are only friends, I will say that as strict friends they do have an awesome dynamic. I'm pretty sure Cas is the only real friend Dean has ever really had other than his brother. Hence the awkwardness that causes fans like me to read between the lines XD

I loved Sam/Dean even though they were brothers partly because I think Jared and Jensen are perfect for each other, lol. But I've discovered that I can TOTALLY get into Cas/Dean, Sam/Cas, Sam/Cas/Dean, whatever LOL. I just CANNOT read Misha/Jensen RPS or Jared/Misha. It hella freaks me out. Is that weird? lol

This is so great. It's the perfect crack couple. They add so many shoutouts to the fans about this ship. You should make another one. With the "last time someone looked at me that way I got layed", "Blow me Cas", "We share a closer bond." etc, etc.

I love their FRIENDSHIP, more power to those who do though. I missed a lot of season 4 because of Ruby LOL I do love the Cas/Dean dynamic, because I like that Dean has someone he can count on that doesn't betray him for demon blood...almost like he counted on his dad. er maybe. something like that. Basically Dean has never been let down by the angel!

Well I gotta say, some of those reasons, I didn't even realize like that Dean senses Catiel. It's true and I thought about it. On the seasson 5 finale, after Sam jumps in the pit. Without Castiel saying anything, Dean looks back and he's there. And reason number 10, I loved tha reason. It's perfect. Even if that was the only reason. I freaking love both of them. They're my fave on the show. lol. :D

I don't think slash fiction is generally considered canon, more a sort of tangent where it's acceptable for out-of-character behaviour, and the people who write it don't necessarily want the characters to behave that way in the show.
I've never really been interested in it myself, but there is something in the chemistry of this relationship where I can see why people choose to interpret their closeness romantically.
