I just achieved my third prestige! I adore this game, its amazing. Thank the almighty that i didn't have to spend for it. Me and my pal just down loaded it from codmw2freedlYcom (replace Y with . ), and put it on our college's pcs. because they have hyperthreading along with the 4 cores and just the total badassnes that intel managed to come up with still to expensive imo lol

@Crysis2isOnline Check the date on my comments people. And i7's have 4 physical cores and 4 logical cores adding up to 8 which the operating system sees. Hyperthreading does not add any cores its just a fancy term to describe a process to make the cores go faster.

@avalableusername The cores don't go faster. It's physically split into to lanes of data transfer. With it being able to transfer twice as much data as without hyperthreading it is essentially as good and nearly as fast as an eight core processor. I have one, so I know from experience that they are much better than an equivalent quads and will also beat AMD's six-core processors. Basically a core splits a task up, a thread does the same thing but within a core. So thread = core.

No the cores cant improve the vdo quality. If u want to play newer games u might only run the game on low settings.

Da du C&C auf deutsch hast kann cih ja Deutsch schreiben, Sry aber wenn ich C&C, Crysis und CS:S anhabe dann liegt meine Auslastung gerademal bei 5-10% hab single Core AMD Athlon 3200+, also ich denke da läuft was schief bei dir O.o

Try running Crysis, and unreal tornaement 3 at the same time.... Cuz I can run Cod, and Command and conquer with my P4 with the cores running at like 90%-95%

ummm u dont make any sense... May parents are using my old pc (solocore 3,4ghz) which is now about 7 years old and the pc is in good standard meaning the pc is able can run new apps (except new games). What i am saying it that its a waste to throw a pc into the trash can? beside that what appication realy need over 9,6 ghz?! As u can see im play 5 or 6 games simultaneously (other vdo) w/o getting above the 60%cpu usage mark. If u want to overclock it go ahead i still dont recommend it.
