I'll be traveling to France in 3 months and I'll be taking the Paris - Montpellier route and I CANNOT WAIT!!

165mph is the AVERAGE speed; The TGV Duplex goes to 320kmh (200mph) on this route....

Thanks for posting a great HST video! It is a matter of great shame to the American people that we do not have anything remotely approaching the French TGVs. Incredible when you stop for a moment, to think about it. As it was with the Apollo program, so should it be with Conventional High Speed Rail, and, particularly, Maglev. We're about to lose our republic, and our Nero-complex, Narcissist President is fiddling! Where is his much-vaunted Lincoln/FDR policy outlook? We should be leaders!
