I dislike Malaysia's media because they always reporting the fake side of every incident that involve government but this is all because they are control by the government. I still remember last few years, a DJ in local radio accidentally voice out the right of citizen by saying government should be fair to all races.
In the end, the radio station almost lost their license and the DJ was fired. I bet none of the media in Malaysia dare to voice out the truth. That is the sad thing.
Why people always blame the police every time there is a rally? (everywhere, not in Malaysia only). Is there a better way to handle a rally? Should they just sit down and drink coke while watching the show?

@lanlot123 i do not disagree with you that up until recently, Malaysia has seemed like a rather peaceful country. Still..sometimes we hear things that we cannot be certain of because we are shielded from info by our local media. In my opinion,you are right, we should be thankful that our government has brought us through alot since our independence,but the people who support BERSIH are just fighting for what they believe in which is a better Malaysia. (theres nth wrong with trying to be better)

@lanlot123 it is about UMNO buddy not the government. Egypt is even worse - they are corrupt and their government is dictator and regime, where Malaysia only semi-dictator and semi-authoritarian (please correct me if wrong). Well shit still happen (corruption, wrongdoings) but not hardcore like Egypt (I know I have visit Middle East-Syria, live there a year and can see how the Arabs ruling their country).
That means protests would still happen but not dangerous and deadly like in Egypt. Peace
