  • I think it's a very great synthesis of Brett's technique!!! By the way post yourself singing a song too!!!!

  • his voice reminds me of the guy from Hey Arnold xD

  • Nice lesson dude, like you said everyone is unique but is the technique for find your real voice or tone?

  • the chair looks like a dick

  • A WOOO WOOO WOOO

  • 1:13 are you putting an eggs?

  • spaghettiy~

  • NO SINGING E??

  • ohh these tips help a lot!

  • His head is too big for his body.

  • @disputedwarhog How godly and "positive" of you... keep spreading the love.

  • @disputedwarhog Or he's just skinny.

  • @disputedwarhog Thats because hes just the Xbox Live version

  • One's "head voice" is the pitch where the vibrations feel as if they're, as the name explains, in your head. It tends to be the highest sounds you can play in your natural range. the chest voice is the general range, lower-to normal voice, where the sounds feel as if they're originating in your chest.

An easy way to help find the "area" you're holding your voice in, is to hum the note with your mouth open, and your tongue touching the roof of your mouth, a bit behind the teeth. guide, not exact

  • What is head voice?

  • when he said 'Brett' i thought he was talking about bread -.-

  • @ahladdin2403 lol

  • isnt this the student from another video? this all seems dodgy to me

  • @cprostudio basically Brett's the guru here (and the boss). all the other coaches who teach using this account are under him and under Singing Success. the coaches would sometimes take a lesson from the man himself, just like how a skateboarder will never stop learning new tricks. not all youtube is evil =)

  • Thanks a million you guys!

  • anyone knows what is the name of the song at the beginning?

  • Ugh, but what is headvoice? :(

  • Respond to this video... It basically means, the voice you hear in you're head when singing. So the way it sounds straight off the first time you try without changing it. :)

  • @K00rihi

I know they never tell you what it is

  • @K00rihi it is the highest sound you can produce in your "natural range", going even higher would be falsetto and then the whistle register which is the highest. Right below the head voice is the chest voice, which is usually the full voice we speak in. Sometime chest and head voice can mix together... which is what Brett refers to as the mix.

  • is it okay to do vocal fry for hours?? Thank you

  • @luigimanzanares i think you should find a way to do it so that it doesn't hurt. and try to take it up, very lightly, and be patient

  • holy fuck

  • ITALIAAA RULES!

  • I've got a question for anyone who knows the answer.

If vocal fry is a lower extension of chest voice, why can it be taken all the way up to the mixed and head voice? And why can it be used in the pharyngeal?

I love vocal fry but it baffles me.

  • @JazzyMan1990 vocal fry is just your vocal vocal cord vibrating with a very closed cord. The reason you can take it higher is because you are in mixed voice and chest voice is still involved, if you are in a pure head voice you cant do vocal fry .It is known as the low extension because you can take it so low that you can get lower than any voice, so low that you could near each "Cracking sound" making that is less than 20 hertz

  • hey man you're italian! greaat so nice to see an italian teacher in ss
