this may makes 3 years ive been on birth control the first year it was ok.during the second year in a half i started getting my period 20 days a month its a constant come leave thing .ive got syct on my ovaries and also when i have sex i tend to cramp up alot i havent gained weight . but im so afraid of taking it out !!
i hope you realize that depo and implanon are the exact same hormone. if the implanon is really causing the cysts, they will continue on depo. I'm on my second implanon implant after 3 years. no side effects and no period.
I heard the shot delays fertility. Thats a little scary. But I have inplanon for 2 years, it was amazing. NO side effects or problems. But I am taking it out because heard it can cause ovarian cysts and I have PCOS so i dont want to make it worse or just worry haha but I honestly think inplanon is great. I would keep it if it wasnt for my PCOS
I have a son that is now two...about 6wks after I had him I had gottent the birth control IMPLANON implanted. I BLEED for 8MONTHS STRAIGHT AND HEAVY. It has now been two years and everyother month I miss my period which TOTALLY FREAKS YOU OUT when you are married and not wanting another kid. Then I bleed for about TWO TO THREE WEEKS. I am getting out this up and coming April and am so excited to get back on a pill or SOMETHING. However my friend got it and didnt get a period at all.
I got Implanon on October, a month after I had my daughter and I obsolutely hated it! My periods lasted like 2 weeks + another 2 weeks of brown discharge for no apparent reason.!! It was annoying, but barely this month I FINALLY had a regular period....took almost a year! I don't recommended!
on the depo provera shot, i got my period 2 weeks after it was due, and it lasted 12 days. it stopped for allmost 2 weeks, and i got another period last night, well i think its another period. everytime after i eat i get bloated and feel abit sick. its made me have alot more iron deficiency, which i thought i had bad iron before i got the shot, since ive had it done ive been alot worse. even iron tablets wont help. so im deffinitely not going to get the shot done again in august.
CONTINUED: My periods have been irregular but I usually go about 60 days before I have a period. The period is often light but different than my usual period. Due to other reasons I couldn't do the shots or pills. So this was a good choice for me. However, I definitely did not like the weight gain. I am a bit scared to get it taken out tomorrow though.

I had the same as you with non stop bleeding for 6months. Also my liver is doing something weird from it. Did you end up getting the fibroid cysts removed? How could you tell the one was there under your rib? Just wondering as I have pain under my ribs at the back on my right side, could be a similar problem.
Wow I wanted to get it I was on the merina and 1 year took it out bc of so many bad and scary reviews ..but I'm on the mini pill and is POP good for ppl that cant handle estrogen ...but must take is everyday at the same time or ur not protected for 7 days. I think

The depo made me gain weight once i had to get off of it. I gained 20 pounds in 2 weeks.

i just got my implanon out 5 days ago.. Had it for the whole 3yrs. had no periods at all and no problems.
