This might sound bad, but if you look at the video, you will notice the man crossing the road wasn't crossing with a green light, so technically he shouldn't have been crossing when the crash occured.

This occured in Dayton, OH where I live, the pedestrian was not killed or seriously injured. By sheer luck, the impact point on the car that rolls over him is exactly where his body ended up on the ground, thus saving his life.

The pedestrian was NOT killed. His name is Scott Tegtmeyer. And after surviving the crash, he got slapped with a J-Walking fine. Sometimes it just doesn't pay to get out of bed.

actually, this kid didn't die. car that ran the red light put a dent into the side of the car it hit and the kid landed under the dent. he lived.
