The game looks awsome: player models, weapon models (maybe except ct knife). It looks as good as CoD or Battlefield, but obviously will run on cheaper computers, which means more player and more servers.

In short, Gabe's genius is (partly) Chet and Erik's genius. That being said, all of the people at valve are just brilliant. Robin, IceFrog, Zoid, and everyone else. There's a reason that their games are the most praised.
